Especially an intricate one like D&D. A more quick and simple one like All Out Of Bubblegum might work out, but all of them require a kind of mindset that Homura at least almost certainly won't have.

Fun as it is to talk about the relative merits of different games, I'd prefer talking and generic hanging out to a game session. We can cuddle Mami, discuss chairs with Madoka, try to finagle hair care tips out of Homura, talk about girls, whatever comes up. If we must play a game I'd prefer one that contributes to conversation.

Also, if Sabrina's the DM... You were impressed when your DM brought clear acrylic stands so flying enemies were at the proper height, can you imagine the board for her games?
Seriously, you can run a one-shot D&D game in an hour or two if you're prepped and ready, and with us around to spawn plans fully-formed that's exactly what Sabrina can do.

I'd expected Mami to be the one that came with the hax. Like, Madoka's all "I hit it with my sword!", Homura quad-wields shields and has every "take damage for your teammate" ability D&D has, and then Mami's carrying a bag full of nightsticks and everybody's in awe of her sempai-ness.

Oh she for sure is abusing Divine Meta Magic, but Homura strikes me as the one who obsessed over obscure CharOp threads before she met Madoka, and is probably an absolutely odious minmaxer.
Madoka, meanwhile, chose Healer out of the Miniature's Handbook and everyone's like "oh my goddddd".
