For us, Kai. Not for the other people. We're pretty obviously in lesbians with Mami.

But I want Sabrina to admit it out loud. And not just in Fidgets, False Starts, and Flutters.

Tech wise, they had that ... hologram ... table setting... thing? Like, wtf is all that stuff on the floor in the classroom?

@Karnewarrior I think it makes more sense to wait to offload our excess Grief until after our trip, so we can use it to make a Mobile Oppression Fortress to carry everyone.

We'll probably have enough either way: the MOF doesn't need to be that thick, with grief having whatever properties we feel like. If it's strong as iridium it'll hold our weight even if it's paper thin

Can we please actually ask Madoka if we're supposed to be keeping our stuff a secret?
We're here to chillax, not to shatter her parents' worldview.

If Madoka wanted her parents to know about magic, she would be asking us if it was okay to tell them. If she hasn't, then I think we can assume that she doesn't intend to share that fact at this time.

I'm thinking we should stay for dinner. Homura could really use it, we're having a good, relaxing time with friends, and the socialization is good for Mami, too. The alternative at this point is to go home and make and eat dinner with Mami. So why not eat dinner with more friends tonight instead?

Plus, we'll get to see Junko. It'll be glorious.

EDIT: There's no point to trying to potentialbomb Homura and Madoka right now. Like, none. Not while Mami is around, and we sure as hell don't need to pile more heavy stuff onto a day that's already had a few scares and heavy moments.

And if she's using the same logic then we're going to keep not telling them and not mentioning it because we were waiting for the other person to bring it up first.

We can do both, unless you have reason to expect them to be less levelheaded than Hitomi?

Excellent fluff. Very fluffy. I am pleased.

Anyway...Sayaka and Kyouko have met now. The 1st step in shipping the two is complete.

Actually, Kyouko's kicked her ass, so Step 2 is finished as well.

*turns large catgirl eyes at Higure*

What's step three, nyah?
Leaving them alone together for extended periods. Already planned.

Hard part will be getting Sayaka to endanger herself enough to trigger Kyouko's protectiveness...but not enough to potentially get her killed. Mostly because we have this thing where we have to save everyone and fix everything...which is kind of literally our reason for existence.

Maybe enough time together will do the trick on its own. Easier than trying to run a complicated scheme to make Sayaka go full paladin in front of Kyouko...also easier than trying to get votes for said scheme.

along with Homura and Madoka and Sayaka.
Homura can timestop in the middle of class, grab Madoka for a conversation, and return her without anyone being the wiser. We only need Mami to not be touching us for a moment to have a timestop conversation. Or we can just ask Mami to give us a moment to talk in private; she's done so before. And she probably won't want to come with us to see Kyouko....

Besides one of them being a blackout drunk? :p

They're not her friend, they're her parents. They have responsibilities and fears (both justified and irrational) for her safety. Their fourteen year old daughter's involved with dangerous, superpowered vigilantes who fight eldritch abominations. She even accompanied them into a combat zone! Most parents would promptly lose their shit upon hearing that and possibly even forbid any further contact between their child and these unsavory people.

Well obviously we won't tell them about that no matter what Madoka's ruling is. It was stupid and we said so at the time and it's not happening again. If Madoka's experience with witches does come up it'll be about the time Mami saved her life.

Might not work anyway. Kyoko's protectiveness is putting in overtime on Yuma.

The embed button isn't working? Is it a timestamp thing?

You know what Koko's gonna think when that Yuma-Nagisa playdate happens?

Sabrina: Rooming with Tomoe Mami, won superpower lottery, generally happy gal.
Little Sister Figure: Momoe Nagisa. Has recently lost her mother. Otherwise happy life, and family is fucking loaded.

Kyouko: Living in the streets of Kasamino, breaking into hotels to sleep. No Wish magic available. Tragic past.
Little Sister Figure: Chitose Yuma. Family so bad that running away from home and becoming meguca was a straight up upgrade. Lots of trauma. Caretaker is Kyouko.

So... yeah.

Something I didn't get to earlier...

We're probably going to pick up a lot more grief during the trip (especially if we haven't developed an alternative to Clear Seeds) and need to offload some after we get back anyway, so we might as well do it all at once. Plus, if we do it Monday while Mami's at school, we don't have to subject her to Kyubey's dickery or sneak out while she's sleeping, which is really not a good idea because if she wakes up and finds we've disappeared she will freak.

Really want to mend fences between Mami and Kyouko so we can just offer to let her stay in our spare room already.
