The best excuse Oriko's offered is that while she could have walked up to Sabrina and worked together with her, that would've put Sabrina's in Homura's shitlist.
It'd be interesting if that were brought up, because then the conversation turns to "why does Homura hate Oriko so much".
Maybe, maybe not. She has seen our chibis.
Our chibis aren't a year old. We're not a year old.
[ ] Say your goodbyes to Oriko and Kirika and check everybody's Gems (except Hitomi's :V)
Now's good a time as any for the "remove grief from humans" experiment we've been putting off.

Vote Draft

[ ] Message Homu.
-[ ] Discussion finished, no violence happened.
-[ ] Apologize again for not warning her right before we showed up.

[ ] Talk to Sayaka:
-[ ] Yeah, just... think on it for a bit. And talk about it with Hitomi or Madoka, if you need a willing ear.
-[ ] I'll contact you again in the morning, once you've slept on it?

[ ] Talk to Hitomi:
-[ ] Do you want a lift, or...?
-[ ] >>>MOAR TALKY TALKY WORDS

Hitomi glances at Sayaka. "I'm done," she says, and then turns her attention to you. "I apologise, Sabrina."
Oh, well then it's fine you accused me of terrible things and tried to slap the bitch off my face.

I hope Sabrina gets something a little more thoughtful further down the line. This clearly isn't the place for a big meaningful apology or anything, but I'm going to be pretty salty on her behalf if this is all she gets.

*sigh* Again, we've actually done terrible things. Hitomi was more accurate then than she probably now believes.

So, a rambling bit of thought on Sayaka and Oriko.

Oriko claims to be unable to predict our actions.

Sayaka apparently can't copy our powers.

Sayaka made her wish because she didn't want to be useless, and because she was envious of the magical girls around her.

When a magical girl makes their wish, they're altering their fate, their karma, their destiny.

Kyubey noted that Sabrina's potential, her destiny, was strange, that it was like a path worn down by many passing feet.

I hypothesize that the reason why Sayaka can't copy our power is because she's not actually copying the power of a magical girl, she's copying her fate. And Sabrina doesn't have one. She has a lot of weight to her, in likely similar to Madoka's potential, but while Madoka had a fairly ordinary destiny, Sabrina had no destiny -- that it's why Kyubey warned us before we made our contract, because we were flat out missing something that everything else has. And that this is why both Sayaka and Oriko can't use their power on us, because their powers work on the destiny of others.

Well, considering how much bitching there's been in the thread, maybe we needed the bitch slapped off our face.

We should offer to see her home first, so we can have a quick chat. She's human, after all, and needs to sleep.

We need to have a longer talk with Sayaka anyway.

Man, let it go. I bet half the people who voted for that threat aren't even watching this thread anymore.

The entitlement people are displaying when saying statements lie yours, indicating shock soene who barely knws us doesn't slavishly worship us.

Firstly, that's not all we've done. Secondly, the absence of those voters isn't relevant. Sabrina did it so Sabrina did it. Whoever voted makes no difference to the results.

It wasn't, and still isn't, a matter of "slavishly worshipping us". Stop that. It's more that Hitomi jumped the gun and presumed herself qualified to prematurely cast judgement without bothering to gather more information.

There's nothing wrong with expecting your friends to not immediately assume the absolute worst of you without actually investigating their worries. If that's entitlement, then I'll gladly let you label me as an 'entitled person'.

Please don't try to put words in my mouth. I never said nor implied she should always accept Sabrina at her word, or that Hitomi should worship us like an infallible God. My position was and still is that Sabrina has spent enough time with Hitomi that she deserves more consideration than she received.

How old Hitomi is? *raises eyebrow*
Not everyone have brain damage and listen to voices in her head like Sabrina.

Which is exactly what we do ourselves, including literally immediately afterwards.

And I consider that incredibly naive. Trusting someone the way you expect Hitomi to trust us is a bad idea and the reason for a lot of people getting abused/kidnapped/murdered etc. A serial killer is perfectly capable of acting the way Sabrina has in front of Hitomi.

EDIT:^ Yet Sabrina has demonstrate that she doesn't know better herself.
