The hotel (it's not even really a hotel, people just keep wanting to give it that stupid name) pretty much is the nascent MSY. It's place to gather homeless magical girls to be cared for and form them into an organization... one that would be under Mami's leadership.

Oh don't even try this. Don't pretend that the special exotic mamigold hotel or w/e the fuck is the name of a place that does what you're describing.

Or if you do, don't quote me in it. I'd like to go to sleep in ~50m and I don't need to be reading a pile of !%^#.

It was a funny that people didn't think through, and it won the voting, and the part that didn't get thought through was completely ignored IC, which probably a good thing.

Don't feel like you need to justify a blatant fuckup that had no terrible consequences. Just note it so that you don't repeat it, and let it die.

I didn't fucking vote for that stupid name, thank you very much. I didn't vote to bring the idea up right now at all. I'm just saying that the people who did vote for it were not actually proposing that Mami become a small business owner.
 
As much as Mami is a goddess of war and combat, she really, truely enjoys social and such uppercrust things. She's got a bit of a paladin streak in her, like Sayaka, so I'm not sure she'd enjoy politics but running the social welfare side of the MSY is probably exactly where Mami wants to be. If she really likes combat that much, I'm sure she can find somewhere that needs peacekeeping and... Dispense Medicine.

So I think you're over reacting, Kaizuki. Asking Mami to run a hotel that will likely evolve into a Social Welfare Branch of Government and/or a recruitment center for newguca isn't sexist. It'd be sexist to tell Kyouko that's where she belongs (and pretty fucking stupid, since Koko can whoop our ass) but I don't think asking Mami to do something she enjoys is very sexist.
 
Sometimes , trying to keep someone from doing something the person would enjoy because it happens to fit esteblished sexual roles is as sexist as trying to shoehorn people according to sexual role conventions.

EDIT: Actually, on reflection, she's not that short. It's just that all the girls except for Madoka are really tall for their age.

She's also constantly late, or nearly, to class, goes batshit crazy whenever anyone calls her "Tiger", and in the world of Prisma Illya is just as crazy at school as she is at home in F/SN.
