And now, in light of the inevitable 'shipping, let's examine the anagrams of these various surnames for Sabrina... for Mami.

Mami Just Sabrina? "Ms. Sanitarium Jab" or "Jam Autism Brains" or "Just Maims A Brain"
Mami Vee? "Maim Eve" is the only result that has any real meaning.
Mami Veidt? "Dammit, I've--"
Mami Velocity? "My Atomic Evil" or "Meal Victim, Yo" or "I Claim My Veto" (A vote for Velocity is a vote for Mami to reject us! D: )
Mami Victoria? "I Maim A Victor" or "Am I A Victim, Or--"

I don't think so. There hasn't been a vote recently that I reckon, and concensus is a weird, fledgy thing that likes to hide and morph.

I like 'Vee'.

It works on too many levels for other options to really stand a chance.

It's:

a). An actual name,
b). In Western style,
c). More often used as a first name then last name,
d). That starts with 'V',
e). With an inherent pun,
f). And is the last name of Homura's english voice actor.

I have to put my vote on Victoria, after all the one with power is frequently not the king but the kingmaker

Put me down for anything that starts with a V but especially Velocity, Velocitas, or Victoria.

Funny example the one you chosed. A kingmaker only has the power of those he/she can make kings, and only so for an instant, then that power is transferred in part to the new king. And a kingmaker only has power as long as he/she is capable of making someone a king, so it cannot be maintaining ad perpetuum.

I don't know who made that phrase, but it is very circunstantial and too flattering on the individual making kings. Probably someone who didn't get to be king.

You can't differentiate 4-7 from 4-19 with that. :eyebrow:

PSA: Voting for 'Witch' makes an ironic joke out of Sakura's nickname for us.

"2 or more" doesn't differentiate between a 3 section name and one of those ostentatious 6 section names.

No, it doesn't. If it receives a significant portion of the votes, I'll probably ask the tread for some options, then put up a second poll with the most popular variations. Same goes if the 'option not on the list' gets a bunch of votes.

Frankly, an option that can't differentiate between "Tomoe Victoria Velocitas Just Kaname Akemi Velocity Vee Velociraptor Vesa Veidt Von Braun Varda Von Neumann Witch Walpurgisnacht Dedolere Valenzuela Verene Vaughn Brown Vana Venticus V/V Spellman" and "Tomoe Victoria Velocitas Just Kaname Akemi Velocity Velociraptor Vee Vesa Veidt Von Braun Varda Von Neumann Witch Walpurgisnacht Dedolere Valenzuela Verene Vaughn Brown Vana Venticus V/V Spellman" might as well not be a vote at all.

... Are you actually proposing to shoot Sayaka to build up her resistance to bigger bullets.
Well I am now... *grumbles about grammar*

Do not accidentally propose to the Mami
