Added a change based on the virtue angle in red.
[x] Keep holding Mami. Cleanse Soul Gems as necessary; warn/ask Mami before doing it. Turn the grief that you're pulling from your soul gems into solid grief, so it stops pinging Mami's senses as much.
-[x] Keep reassuring Mami.
--[x] You just wanted her to be happy. You still do.
--[X] When you woke up in that alleyway, you knew things about Mami and the others, like you might from reading a story about everyone - bits and pieces, at a remove. You didn't know anything about yourself, but you knew enough about the others that you wanted to help them.
--[x] You knew that she was lonely, and so you wanted to make it so she wasn't lonely any more. You wanted to make her happy, but you didn't expect her to make you so happy.
--[x] And she does. You enjoy doing things with her, talking with her... she makes every day brighter. You don't want to lose that, and you don't want to lose her.
--[x] So if she's asking you not to leave, you can promise that you won't leave her. Because your life would be so very much darker without her in it. When your virtue is due to luck, somebody who fought tooth and nail for it is a very bright light. You're the moth to her lamp. And you won't keep things from her any longer, because you'd decided to share everything with her the moment you realized how much she meant to you -- it's just that some things hurt.
---[x] But now that you've finally gotten up the courage to tell her this, the rest... not all of it is good, and not all of it is happy, and some of it is personal things about others that you'd want to ask to share... but that was the personal secret. The one about us. The rest... it's not about you, and it's not about Mami, and so none of it changes how we feel about her.
[x] Unless something very important happens, continue to just hold Mami until both of you are calmer. Mami responding to the last line doesn't count as very important unless the response creates a situation where it would be weird for a crying 15yo girl to keep crying and hugging her best friend.
[X] Clean up a little; at least get rid of the snot and tears, both of you.
[X] Ask Mami if she wants to drink something.
