Even if the rest of my plan gets scrapped, I really, really want to take Kyousuke to task for not finding some way to keep the endless days filled other than listening to endless loops of music he thought he could never play again. Get addicted to Bejeweled or something, dude!
That's not how depression works. We can't just decide to like stuff and lethargy is normal for us.

Okay.

To-Do List

• Purchase baking ingredients with Mami.
• Bake stuff for picnic.
• Tell Mami about asking Koko to train Seyiku.

• Metabomb Mami.

• Tell Sayaka about Walpurgisnacht.

• Prep Oriko for Orikobomb drop.

• Ask Oriko for soulguca deets.

We've got quite some time tommorow morning, so I think the correct course of action is to sleep in a bit, drop in on Oriko and discuss some stuff under privacy screening, then have a personal practice session with Mami for a bit that Sayaka then drops in on. (This also serves to remind Sayaka that Sabrina is kinda new to this too, which should take out a bunch of the sting of being corrected by Mami.)

That gives us a chance to mention Walpurgisnacht before the picnic, so when we Orikobomb she's aware of the stakes - plus, I think Sayaka would jump at the chance to practice a bit more.

We might as well invite Homu too - she seemed honestly apologetic she missed the last training session, and we did mention that we wanted to test a few things with her as well.

So for my vote:

[x] Greet everyone cheerfully. Ask how they're doing.
-[x] Ask to cleanse Homura.

[x] If additional healing of Kyousuke does happen today, provide cleanses for that as well.

[x] While healing happens, or just as small talk...
-[x] Ask Sayaka what her schedule is like tommorow other than the picnic.
--[x] Telepathy Mami and, should Sayaka's schedule permit it, and picnic preparations not take up too much time, ask about additional training for Sayaka in the morning.
---[x] If she's fine with it, mention that theres a few things about your own powers you wouldn't mind testing as well, and having her there to spot would be great.
----[x] If Mami's cool with it, ask Sayaka about more training tommorow. She'll probably jump at the chance for more testing.
-----[x] If Sayaka agrees, invite Homu as well, if she wants to come.

[x] Once Mami thinks we need to get going to buy baking supplies, say goodbye to everyone and head out.
-[x] But also hug Madoka at some point before leaving.

Homura... Homura deserves to have good things happen to her. She needs hugs and everything. She came from a Catholic school. She's said as much, elsewhere and elsewhen, and here in Japan, that's as good as an euphemism for being from an orphanage.

Not all orphanages in Japan are Catholic run, but many are.

Maybe, but the Seisen International School is also a catholic school.

Okay I want to know, did the winning vote have Sabrina playing the Item Get music from Zelda or did Firn decide to do that on their own?

Unless we are talking about the clinical sort, occupying the mind and surrounding the person with a healthy* group of friends while solving the core issue is better than nothing.

*Healthy enough, anyway.

Would really like to do something about this grief cloud ASAP. Every update we keep getting told how huge and heavy it is, and every update we shrug our shoulders and ignore the note.

The thing makes me damn nervous. It is literal supernatural despair held in place only by Sabrina's active control. I feel like we've got a grenade with the pin pulled, but everything's cool because we're holding down the lever.

So rather than completely ignoring Kyousuke like Redshirt Army's plan that everyone is voting for does, maybe we could actually talk to him and try to get to know him as a person a little? See if he's good enough for our girls?

Agreed completely. I think we need to research how to contact her.

Frankly I suggest asking QB...

Wait, is our knowledge of soulguca sourced from homu's loop knowledge? Crap. Nono on the QB then. Hm... Frankly I'd suggest a timestop errand at mach five. I'm completely serious, let's actually do this. Bill the whole thing as a science issue. We could also pay NATO a visit...

... Hm. We should probably make sure we...

...

Dammit we'd look a bit too much like a bomber or a missile if we went to EU / NA like that. *facepalms*

... Wait no it's timestop. Uh.

Reminder:
Homura: he may develop a crush on you.

I am talking about the clinical sort, and yes, it's helpful. What isn't helpful is criticising him for not being up to it without help.

As said, the knowledge is from Oriko. I suppose it might be worth asking Kyuubey. I'd prefer not to do so if we can easily avoid it though I always get worried he'll learn too much from such questions. Unless we throw in some decoy questions?

Also, I totally support treating Kyousuke like an actual person. It's not his fault he's oblivious and has a sucky life.
