@Redshirt Army
It would be wiser to space the bombs out further. Additionally, it would be a good idea to work up a longer term schedule for the next few weeks. The time from now to Walpurgisnacht should be figured out and the amount of work that needs to fit into that space diagrammed visually.

Honestly, if our general plan for Monday survives until then I'll be amazed. I can see the need to build a better idea of what our medium-term goals are, though.

Also, @Redshirt Army, don't forget the Day Planner which is ideal for both this and short-term planning as well. I did update it to include stuff that's been discussed recently, but you may want to edit it yourself too.

More important, what would Mami think of multiple Sabrinas?

All the hugs?

All the brain damage?

"Sabrina... You said you stole some money from the Yakuza, right? We're kind of low on food..."

You know, I'm pretty sure that soul gems mean "real" clones are impossible. Certainly you can create shadow clones, or familiars, but there isn't any way to get multiple, independent, thinking-and-feeling versions of Sabrina. You only get one soul.

And no, we're not going to start making horcruxes.

But sufficiently advanced automatons...

Yeah, I dare you to try to convince Ugolino of that; he's been arguing for months that we need to drop all the bombs today, if not sooner. As it is, we still have no timeline set for Witchbombing Mami; until we do that we really can't afford to leave her side (other than class, naturally), so we can be there to cap the Incubator should he try to do it early.

For the record, I think @Redshirt Army has the right idea with that timeline.

How does that work with Witches, a). being the same person/soul as the original puella magi (confirmed in Rebellion), yet b). multiple copies of the same Witch existing thanks to familiars?

I suspect that familiars gather multiple human souls, then cut them up and stitch them together into the closest reproduction of their master's soul possible. Ergo, in PMMM, souls can be reproduced... at least, if you're willing to use other souls as fuel.

Yes, clearly we can never leave Mami in Mitakihara with us out of the city at all. Nope, we haven't done that at all with no consequences, disproving the idea that QB is willing and able to instawitchbomb Mami out of the blue.

"Spacing" is nothing but stalling at this point. Orikobomb is vital to avoid us being undermined and losing Sayaka's trust and time sensitive in that the longer we hide it, the worse we look to Sayaka, Mami's metabomb is explicitly something we owe to her that we've been putting off indefinitely already due to events...

Koko information needs to happen sooner or later and us doing it now clears the air and gives her time to think. The only real issue there is proper phrasing.

Potentialbomb for Homura, I don't see as needing to happen at all.

Copy the soul's wave form via AT field analysis and implant that into an artificial clone body - for some differentiation we can heterodyne it with a copy of Mami's waveform to make a totally unique one.

Homura: You made that up.

WRONG!

Homura: -___-

I MADE HALF OF IT UP!

Homura: *starts shooting*

We've done this song and dance before, but, yet again:
• It's a major crack in the psyche of a critical component of all our plans, so we should patch it up.
• I think that with the right phrasing and approach, Homura won't take it nearly as badly as in canon.

"No! What you did wasn't pointless, and it wasn't wrong! Madoka wouldn't be alive now if you didn't do what you've done! Mami wouldn't be alive, I wouldn't exist!"

Someone mentioned Yanbrina a few pages ago so I asked @LostDeviljho to whip something up. I think she looks beautiful.

>Five Minutes before picture: Someone killing Mami

Why do I feel like Sabrina snapping would be VERY bad like

Homura setting a new record on finger to reset button bad.

Well assuming Sabrina let her, rather then letting the timeline just *DIE*

Thing is I don't see it as being relevant to her as a bomb with the state of affairs, because while it'd have been bad, it was the connection to her looping that made it so lethal. Which we've derailed already.

In short, Homura's strong enough and our approach has changed her mindset enough that I think the "safety" of telling her doesn't outweigh the trauma that information'd inflict...even if said trauma's not actually breaking for her the way it would be in canon.

"Do you want to see my new yandere impression?."

It's a creepy picture, all right. Nailed the yan.

I think it's more Sabrina being freed of SOCIAL! and going full SAVE ALL TEH MEGUCA TODAY NO MATTER WHICH MEGUCA GETS IN THE WAY. ALSO MUMI WE'RE GIRLFRIENDS NOW, HELP ME WASH THIS BLOOD OFF MY FACE.

COME ON MAMI, SHE WOULDN'T HAVE DIED IF YOU HAD BEATEN HER BEFORE I GOT TO HER. THE SAVING CAN'T BE DELAYED!

In conclusion, Yanderebrina is loudbrina.

Um, has there been a point recently, other than class, obviously, where the Incubators can't intervene without disrupting their oh-so-precious masquerade, where we've left Mami by herself? I can't think of one myself; certainly we've taken her with us on our major trips out of the city, and all of that was before we received confirmation via Oriko that somehow the Incubators have decided that we're their enemies, and to subvert Sayaka the moment we're too far away to interfere.

Every single time we've left to go talk with Kyoko. QB is doing a lot of things but random witchbomb out of the blue for Mami would be OOC.

"Somehow"- it's almost as though they inherently just want us dead as an obstacle to madokacontract/payoff of our own

I miiiiiiiight have a slightly skewed definition of sanity.
But see, if she's typically yandere, she's not stable, because she flips between yan and dere.

She'd be stable if she was consistently yan, or she was yan and dere at the same time.

The important thing about stability is consistency, right? :V

Wait I figured out a worst case scenario

Homuicifer AND Sabrifer due to the loss of Madoka and Mami respectively.

Edit: No wait better worse scenario

Sabrina loses Mami but gets a second chance, and due to thinking its all *her* fault she wishes for it to *all* go away.

Cue Sabrina ending up separate from the world, never having been made by Madoka's wish - only able to watch the world from afar and never ever interacting with it.

No tea, no cake, no friends, no sleepovers and no hugs.

I do actually mean that stalling is better than doing it all now. It's not a great idea to just "get it all over with" because you create far too many events and high-priority situations all at once. It's reasonable to say that these bombs should be dealt with sooner rather than later, but with only one person to delegate these responsibilities to (ie: Sabrina), it's very easy to overcommit. Overcommitting is bad because it becomes very easy to fail at managing one or more situations successfully, resulting in various negative consequences that I don't need to list here. Unless you're willing to accept failure at one or more things, but we've disagreed in the past about "golden endings".

So far all our meetings with Kyoko have been during school hours, which the Incubators have been loathe to interrupt due to wanting to preserve the masquerade as much as possible. This, by the way, is one good reason to start paying attention to masquerade issues, or at least to attempt to be less flashy: at some point we're going to be more trouble than we're worth, and that day may be relatively soon if we keep flaunting our magic in front of the mundanes, in direct defiance of the Incubators' desire for a masquerade.

And yes, they might want us dead, the same way they want every magical girl dead, Witched out, and fed to them as Grief, but so far not enough to be worth directly opposing us, at least not until Oriko made her latest prediction. There's something fundamentally different in the relationship there, as the Incubators have gone from a long-term wait and see attitude to directly working to manipulate Madoka's friend into fighting and possibly Witching out. We managed to leave Sayaka alone before for extended periods without drawing the Incubators' wrath; I'm wondering what changed here, that has put us on their hit list.
