Yup. Potentially with outfit magic if it's as malleable as in SayakaQuest, out of grief otherwise.

We haven't even begun to scratch the surface of our power's cosplay potential. Makes me wonder if Mami has with her power.
To be honest I would be okay with a maid outfit being our default outfit; ours isn't very cute anyway. We live to serve, after all! :V
with an appropriately frilly witch hat, just for kicks

"Get a maid outfit" is "summon one with magic", right?
It's up to Sabrina to handle, but so far:

1 - Find one.
2 - Grief dress and mundane apron (find one somewhere in the house).
3 - Someone or other proposed we might be able to fiddle with our magical costume to make the necessary changes.
4 - Witchy Grief is probably beyond last resort, as it would take time and will likely alert O&K.

I don't think I missed anything.

Well we could always ask somebody to wish a maid costume that fits us perfectly into existence, and gain a new meguca friend in the process!

Totally unrelated, have we played with Nagisa recently?

Right so I just had a train of thought that involved insulting madoka and getting homura pissed off, and I realized that I don't know the answer to this question:

If homura is holding your soul gem, are you brought into the timestop? Can she just take it from you in timestop without you even knowing?

I feel like we probably learned this while interrogating oriko, but I've forgotten.

I'd rather try our own magic as option A, grief dress as B, and NOT loot Oriko's house for one.
Hey, we don't steal things. We borrow them.
...Occasionally, we even give them back!

IIRC we took Kirika's in time stop after we wrecked the fuck out of her mano a mano in order to strongarm Oriko; on one hand, Kirika was unconscious at the time, on the other hand, I don't recall there being a description of her body being dragged out of the greyworld.

Do you remember when we gave our Gem to Homura? We could only follow her while we were attached by rope.

Also,

Which is a little strange, when I think about it, since a Puella Magi's seat of consciousness presumably/implicitly moves from her brain to her Soul Gem when it's created. It's pseudo-canon that they can go Demilich mode and route their senses through their Soul Gems.

Maintaining consciousness as a Soul Gem is Something I Want To Try™. Since the only practical problems for it are supposedly the lack of a body and the magic cost of replacing normal senses with magical senses, it wouldn't be that much of a problem for Sabrina, since she can make a Grief puppet to control, and can pay any amount of magic for her senses.

But on the subject of why time stop works like that, it's magic; it's intuitive, and Homu probably subconciously expected it to work that way.

But mostly, it's magic.

Yeah, but one thing is the consciousness stuffed inside a piece of phylactery, and another different thing is the body said phylactery is supposed to animate.

A body is an empty vessel without a soul.

Our grief stays active in time stop and is supposedly animated in a similar fashion to our meat puppet.

I don't think that's a good point of comparison. I also don't know why is that, but probably the answer lie in the fact this grief is held close to us by our magical ability to control and bend grief.

Maybe I'm wrong about this tho.
