Alternatively, we could have Orikog-Sothoth and Kirikthulhu, which better represents their relative ranking and are from the same 'pantheon'.

E: Major props for 'Mamiterasu', it fits so well.

Eh. Not too much of a fan of the boost techniques* but seems harmless enough as long as we give Mami a warning we're trying that during enchantment practice?

*Seriously, I get the feeling we're not going to get free bonuses to pretty much anything we so choose without fairly unpleasant counterbalancing in some form, so keeping an eye out for that.
We already have the counterbalances of "Feathers"/"the threat that's worse than Walpurgisnacht" and Kyuubey and the entire world system that we want to break. Firnagzen has given us access to some powerful tools because we are going to need powerful tools in order to accomplish our goals.

... So what are we doing for tomorrow? Besides figuring out if Yuuki is around. Kind of gotten tired of science for now. Maybe hang out with Oriko and Kirika and then Kyoko and Yuma for the first half of the day?
While I do want to continue doing research (priorities: research Feather, mass cleansing, dewitching), I do want to hang out with Oriko and Kirika and Kyoko and Yuma as well. Maybe we can combine research and hanging out with Oriko and Kirika?

I'm not getting the other parts of the name portmanteaus: could somebody give me the context for the weird names, besides the cthulhu mythos ones?

Amaterasu, Susanoo, and Tsukiyomi are the three children of Izanagi, the japanese creator deity. They represent sun, storms, and moon respectively. The first two are always fighting.

Sayaka is being portmaneaued with Michael, the highest angel in modern biblical canon who cast Lucifer out of Heaven. The symbolism should be obvious, there.

Yamata no Oriko = Oriko as Yamata no Orochi, a giant 8-headed snake/dragon thing that was killed by Susanoo.
Thanks; I don't know as much about Japanese Mythology as I suppose I should, so these references fly right over my head unless they're very obvious.

... We're clearly Pallas Sabrina. :V

Okay, semi-serious idea. We want to get violin-boy healed up; we want to get it out of the way soon. However -
- Doing it alone would require inordinate time,
- Bringing in a dedicated healer would require messing around and/or payment and/or persuasion,
- Mami's presently in a state of emotional vulnerability such that violin-boy developing a crush might end in tears,
- Homura's presently always in a state of sense-of-humor-failure such that violin-boy developing a crush might end in hilarity kneecappings.

But! Oriko and Kirika are both capable of healing, well-intentioned enough that they'd probably be on-board with the idea if we ask (particularly if we raise the tends-to-contribute-to-contracting angle), fairly unlikely to attract his attentions, and more than capable of dealing with it if they do. Thoughts?
