Whatever the plan is, can I suggest that we hop onto a grief platform before we drop timestop?

This way, we're out of the immediate range of any attacks, whether from EM or her familliars.

That and we have a glorious angle to watch the ensuing fireworks from :D

Mami's hands drop limply to her side, the cannon dissolving, and she eyes the frozen cannonball oddly.
You stare at the frozen cannonball, utterly entranced, as it hangs in mid-flight against the frozen backdrop of the barrier.

You know what you must do.

[q] Ride the cannonball.
[q] You know you want to.
[q] C'mon, it'd be awesome -- jump up and surf on it.
[q] ... Kirika'd be disappointed if you didn't! ~
[q] ...
[q] "Hey girls, watch this!"

Such a pity the stunt would fail instantly and violently, seeing as we'd get rekt the moment we touched it and brought it back into timestop with its momentum unchanged.

Alas, it seems the SabriCannon is out of reach for yet another day.:(

"Dear Diary,
today was the most disappointing day of my life..."

... I had forgotten to add the HTTPS version of SV's URL to my invisitext revealer script.

HOW MANY HAVE I MISSED??

Well, fixed now.

...Something asked who we are. If we use our grief powers in here, will it alert whatever is looking for us?

[X]Ask Homura to drop timestop. Grief rend it as the attacks hit, just to go for ludicrous overkill and in case it lashes out.
[X] Ask Homura and Mami if you can keep the seed.
[X]Stay alert. Go check on Sayaka. Ask her how she's feeling. Make a grief couch if she's still out of it.
-[X]Once she feels better, ask her what the last thing she remembers is.
-[X]If she doesn't know, gently let her know that a Witch kissed her. Oriko warned us in time, and we killed it.
[X]Her parents are asleep. Is that normal and does she want us to drop her off back at her house?

Addition in blue because Elsa Maria is, apparently, at least a little lucid, and that means closer to the Meguca/Witch border than most witches. She can't really hurt us if we armour up our Grief seed Soul Gem in a box of clear, indestructible Witch!Stuff before talking/rehatching to her, and we could learn something. She's like the Rosetta Stone, but instead of languages it's the different states of sanity that magical girls can be in!

So, basically because we don't have to hurt or endanger ourselves to do SCIENCE to talk to Elsa, apparently.

Fair enough, added. Not sure if that is Elsa Maria talking or something else- Feathers?- but it's a fair point.

Should we ask Sabrina/Mami if they heard that? Lets them know something's up if we get hypnotized or something.

[x] Put a little more distance between the three of you and the witch. Just in case. A little extra time to react to things couldn't hurt.

[x] Grief scan again after the barrier dispels. If no new developments, offer cleansing.
[x] Ask Homura and Mami if you can keep the seed.
[x] Go check on Sayaka.
-[x] Actually, was she really the only one that was witch kissed?
[x] Make sure she's okay. Try and wake her up if she's still out of it.
-[x] Tell Sayaka she was witch kissed (prompt for Mami or Homura to explain if she doesn't know what that is.). Ask Sayaka what was the last thing she remembers.
[x] Offer to take Sayaka home.
-[x] If she accepts, once you're there ask if her if it's normal for her parents to turn in this early.
--[x] Or ask her after the offer if she declines.

Some minute differences from the Ugo vote. Honestly, I expect a voting prompt before we go through all of this.

Faint shatterlines web across the dead, leaden sky, and abyssal black paints a wide stripe beneath your feet - a long, straightforward path to a distant, spiked monstrance of brilliant crimson, faded to a muted vermilion. A faint whispering seems to resonate from the ground, distant and nearly inaudible.
Who are you?
Homura frowns at the ground for a moment before withdrawing an assault rifle, blocky and matte black with a shrouded barrel, from her shield. The clicks draw your attention, and Mami nods sharply, removing her hat from her head and pulling out a musket. She inhales, closing her eyes, and when she lets the breath out, her hands are steady on the weapon.
So who's talking here? I'd assume it's Elsa Maria herself, but how would she even do that considering she's currently frozen in time?
Probably, Magic is bullshit and all that.
Here we have a witch that can apparently communicate with us in some way, but we can't really try to do so due to the circumstances we encountered her in.

Trying to get Homura and Mami to stop killing the witch, because we want to try talking to her will open a whole new can of worms and would be awfully close to witchbomb territory, if something goes wrong.

The Oriko namedrop was intentionally setting up insurance for the inevitable reveal of what she tried to do- 'look she saved your life too'- with a slight risk of Homura annoyance by mentioning it.

Ask Sabrina? You know what they say about talking to yourself... :p

In all seriousness, I'm not sure we should ask about if a Witch is talking to us- though Homura did seem to hear something.
Derp.
Meant Mami/Homura.
If we end up acting weirder then normal, Mami should definitely get a heads up.

I didn't quite catch that at first but now that it's pointed out, I think that's information that's better gone over after Sayaka has had some time to adjust to what's happened. So tomorrow probably. Not immediately after she just snapped out of a witch kiss.

Is it possible that whatever is causing Feathers is the one talking to us? Elsa Maria is trapped in timestop, but we know that Feathers is all about the timey wimey shenanigans, and it might be watching us at this event right now...

Ehhh, maybe, but this lets us drop it without it seeming forced. I think we're going to disagree with the timing.

What is interesting is that Sabrina didn't react, even if Homura maybe did?

Does that imply that what we can't see normally isn't real? But then again, us also can't be seen normally.....
[x] Hero of good choices
Regardless, I'm not sure it is good to ignore it.

This is probably the sound that Firnagzen mentioned earlier.

We have yet to hear a witch talk and we're in Timestop right now and Elsa Maria is definitely Time-stopped. This witch was lured here by "Feathers", so I suspect that it's "Feathers" that we're hearing.

The question is: Is it only Sabrina that "Feathers" doesn't recognize, or does she not recognize any of us?

I'm not sure what we should do, but ignoring the whispers is probably not the right course of action. Maybe we can respond to it by voting in invisitext?
