Fuck you Oriko. Fuck you!

That said, killing her now will only make all our efforts for both healing and interrogation to go to waste, apart of losing some trust from the homu. ("we could have done this from a beggining.")

And seriously take her hat? I thought that was a joke vote guys.

Ugo, guide us.

It would be extremely satisfying to just shoot her, if it wasn't for a) our investment in time and effort, b)we're going to end this differently just out of spite/because fuck lol precog and Oriko's deathwish.

Plus Mami'd probably take it better than us sitting near their dead bodies.

Relevant question: Does Oriko actually know what happened last loop? Because, you know, precog, not postcog? Either she's bluffing hard on general knowledge that all of Homura's loops suck, or something's different than what we were expecting here. Possibly related to how knowledge of Homura's timetravel abilities leaked in the first place? And if she does actually know how Homura's last loop went, she somehow feels it would be news to us. Depending on how good the information is, we might actually be at a different point in canon than we thought we are.

At the least, I'd recommend that part of talking Homura down include pointing out that Oriko shouldn't even know how the last loop went, so it's probably a bluff. And if Oriko tries to prove that wrong... well, go from there, I guess?

AHA! A MINOR MISTAKE! I KNEW IT! LOCK HIM IN THE CHAINS!
Whoops, had a Noir Quest moment there. Fixed. And I'll stop taking your thing now. :)

As any Jaegermonster vill tell hyu, Hats are serious business, friend! Can't be a Jaeger vitout a hat! Und hyu can't jusht BUY a hat! Hyu hef to take it from a fallen foe!

Might also be worth pointing out that, if she wanted you to go to Kasamino to bail out Kyoko, she could have just said so. None of this puppetmaster nonsense, just a direct warning.

As for her potential knowledge of the last loop, it's possible she looked ahead and saw Homura divulging the details of her own volition, and is trying to force the issue before she's actually ready to talk about it to throw her off balance.

[x]"Homura, no. She's trying to get under your skin. She WANTS you to shoot her. Don't give her what she wants."
[x]Let's talk about a different loop first, okay? A loop where everyone got to meet your good friend Margot because you thought it'd be great to make Kirika your own personal killer and didn't even notice what it did to her head. Where you got yourself killed stupidly, hurt Mami and the others, and committed mass murder for what turned out to be no reason at all. Can you really say you'll do better than that when you're making exactly the same mistakes?
-[x]How do you think Kirika'll take it when you get yourself killed needlessly? We're surprised that she seems to care so little for that.
[x]...Fine. Let's talk.
-[x]Homura...can I have her Soul Gem?
--[x]We need her to trust us again. We'll keep her connected to us and Oriko by a grief trail. If something goes wrong, shoot Oriko and break Kirika's gem.

We should probably also assure Homura that we're not going to just turn on her at the drop of a hat (heh). We already know who she is, what she is capable of, what she's done, and we're choosing to stand by her anyway.

I was kind of her annoyed by her attitude at first, but now I'm starting to find it more amusing and laughable than anything else. She's just so... over the top in her baiting.

Honestly, lying to us really was unnecessary. It kind of boggles the mind and it's more than a little amusing that she thought that she needed to manipulate us into saving Kyouko's life which we would have done if she had just said that she was in trouble. It looks like she really is trying to gather magical girls to fight Walmart Night. Which means she was trying to force Sayaka to contract with that stunt earlier. With us suspecting that Kirika pushed Hitomi down those stairs, Sayaka would have gone all "hero of justice" and would have contracted for sure. I'm kind of wondering if she's trying to play up her villain act, because she's being way more annoying and needlessly provoking than I remember her being in the manga. It really wouldn't surprise if she were to throw herself under the bus for her goals. The problem is that she's willing to do the same to everyone else. If we hadn't stopped her than she might have continued to gather magical girls and get them to contract to act as cannon fodder for Walt Disney Night. Of course, I could be wrong. I'm just guessing here.

Oriko is evidently a villain of the Nale-school of complicated plans.

- [Q] Laugh at her.
- [Q] Realize she's serious, laugh harder.

On one hand, Orikio is annoying me, mostly because of the dig on Homura. Because dude, making fun of the time traveler who had almost literally crawled through more shit than soldiers in Vietnam put togther so she can save all our asses (even if her focus was on Madoka) is not cool. On the other hand, her over the top baiting is rather childish and amateurish at best. If anything this just proves that for all her hax abilities she really is just a teenage girl who is hilariously in way over head.

Also, the reaction of most posters to her attempt of looking high and mighty. Lol.

Is there a difference when it concerns perpendicular timelines? From Homura's personal point of view, it's the past, but for Sabrina and Oriko, it's 'sideways' in time, which means seeing the futures of other timelines is perfectly valid if you think 4th dimensionally.

She saw what Homura was going to do in a previous loop, meaning she can seethe "Today + X" periods of previous timelines as if they were her own future, but is able to make the distinction to recognize them as such.

Atleast, that's how I'd justify it if her power IS showing us previous loops. It's only "postcog" from Homura's point of view, not for Oriko or the rest of the multiverse.

To be perfectly serious, I seriously am considering adding in Sabrina actually bursting out laughing. I mean some of things she said, like her comment about Kirika being "quirky" , sounds seriously delusional. She does know that we're completely aware about what kind of person Homura is and the things she is willing to do for Madoka, right? I'm really hoping that most of this is an act or I'm missing something here, because otherwise we seriously have our work cut out for us here.

My mind is just... :jackiechan:

Edit:

To be perfectly fair, Sabrina isn't that much better in the sanity department either. The fact that we're trying to save everyone including the extremist precog and the psycho yandere is arguably just as insane. Seriously, a golden happy where everybody lives in PMMM? We'd have to be crazy to attempt it and be optimistic about our success. I'm just hoping that our brand of insanity isn't quite as...pathetic looking as Oriko's.

I stand by a statement I stated in a wall of text post I posted.

I think that Oriko head got screwed bad when she became precog. After all, wishes may give you the ability to use it, but it does not make you good at it. And who's to say that seeing all those future possibilities didn't mess with Oriko's head to a really bad degree that she really is delusional? Heck, for all we know, we (that is Sabrina, who happens to be our freaking avatar) might be saner than Oriko is.

And again, let me just say Oriko might not know anything useful at all. She's just deluded herself into thinking so. So, let's hear what her super uber secret is and kill her if she's not gonna stop. I vote we kill her anyway. She's annoying me.

This is probably a stupid idea and there's most likely something I've missed along the way the way that'll disprove this, but is it possible that Oriko wants Madoka to contract and get her final cannon wish? The idea's not really grounded on much at all, it just came to me when Oriko said that she was going to make the future better and that she didn't want Homura to hear (as Homura wouldn't allow Madoka to contract), but I thought I might as well throw it out there just in case anyone wants to work off it.

Heh, Sabrina and Oriko truly are twisted mirror images of each other. Right down to their delusional certainty of their success. We should totally make a toast with her. To crazy goals and methods! :p

Despite everything, I really am hoping that we won't have to kill Oriko or Kirika. We will if we have to, but hopefully it doesn't come to that. In the end, they're victims. The same as Homura and the rest of the meguca. This universe truly does suck.

One thing I haven't seen brought up is the possibility that what happened last loop was when madoka contracted to become madokami. After all, we did see a flash of madoka with golden eyes in the very first post.
