We might want to mention to Homura and Mami that our 'premonition' just... passed.

Firnagzen said:
"Good," you say emphatically, sliding your feet off the bed. "Would you like to use the washroom first?"

"Um, OK," Mami says, slipping off the far side of the bed. She pads over to the door, casting a look backwards at you.

You smile at her, and follow her to the living room. "I'll be here, Mami," you say.

Mami smiles, pausing at the bathroom door. "OK. M-maybe..." she trails off, smile faltering for a second. She shakes her head. "You'll be here?" she asks again.
Anybody else felt a little bit uneasy over this line, in this context?

You don't take too long to clean up. When you walk into the kitchen bare minutes later, you find Mami fussing with the ricecooker.
Mere minutes. EDIT: I guess not. Couldn't find a translation that worked.

She takes longer, today. When she pulls the door open, it's with no less alacrity than she usually does, but her eyes are warm when she finds you, leaning against the wall. "I... I'll get breakfast started, Sabrina?" she asks, voice tentative. She takes longer, today. It's little things like this though that gives me hope, that she's getting better. Little bit by little bit.

If you say it's too dangerous to have hope, I'll just tell you you're wrong! And I'll keep telling you until you believe! No matter how many times it takes!
While I still stand by my words- ironically, I had forgotten about this quote from Madoka, heh.

On the subject of Mami, I guess at the moment there is not much we can change about our approach to the problem. Just pray and wait and see.

Which is too bad because I see Mami's antics as both sadly saccharine AND repulsive/annoying and I want to get rid of the problem ASAP.
Guess patience is what it takes to deal with mentally damaged people. :(

Yeah, unless you're hiding a magical cure behind your back...

Even Kirika's told us to be patient.

A stray thought: Back when we were discussing whether we could try to speed up healing Oriko's arm, we decided to stick with instinctual magical healing. Somebody brought up the idea of using witchy grief to make a magical object that would rearrange organic matter into a replacement arm for Oriko.

If such a thing could be made... an object that uses witchy grief only to move mundane matter at such a precise level, we could try to make up new bodies the Full Metal Alchemist route? Take the... ingredients; will for something that'll rearrange them into a working human shape, without leaving any 'magic' inside the finished product.

Does it sound like a possibility? We could start small, making a 3D printer and working our way up.

That would be pretty great. Pretty sure we could pull it off, too, considering what a success MECHA GUREN ZILLA LAGANN was.

Grief 3D printer? Provided it doesn't mix any Grief into the finished product, could be useful for a lot of stuff besides just healing.

She asked us to play music for her yesterday, possibly also other mornings I don't really recall, to reassure her we were still there.

A positive reading of this morning would be her catching herself and reassuring herself that she doesn't need it. Same for taking longer.
Which means she might be starting to recover. Which is good, of course.

Same reason we gave to convince him to stop mindwiping people we like: Because we want it.

Kyubey's already agreed to not mindwipe Hitomi and Kwyjibo, there's no reason for him to refuse this beyond pure spite.

Hmm... actually.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a girl more likely to become a potential contract when said girl is constantly around megucas?

I don't think we actually have any idea about the mechanisms there (with the exception of the bit about Madoka's ever-growing karma), but my consumption of all things meguca is less than comprehensive.

Unless he actually CAN'T connect someone without potential to the telepathy network. He probably can, but I don't think we've seen proof of that yet.

Oh hey, I got the vote tally program working on my computer. Time to celebrate by posting vote tallies on random quest threads! :V

[x] Yes that's acceptable.
-[x] Ask for a location to meet.
[x] Also as you were a solo magical girl, there's a trick I'm not sure you know. Can you pull the phone away from you for a few seconds?
-[x] Telepathy. We can talk to each other this way too.
--[x] Assuming Megane didn't know, give the basics of how it works.
[x] Ask and remind Megane to hold onto that grief seed. You can refresh it when you meet her after school.
[x] Does Megane have any questions?
[x] End telepathy with Megane.
[x] Talk to your friends.
-[x] Telepathy Mami. Let Mami know about the schedule conflict and as it's important, you agreed to meet with Miss Ono first. See what she wants to do. Ask how long she expects Ono's orientation to take.
[x] Say goodbye to Mami and everyone, and take off for the warehouse.
-[x] Keep an eye out with your senses on your way. Cautiously but quickly stomp a Witch if you find one. Nothing fancy, just grief rend it to death.
[x] Check up on the Sendai Group and the UG (one at a time). Ask when would be a good time to begin your cleansing arrangement.
-[x] Don't commit to anything just yet. You still need to discuss this with Mami.
[x] Warehouse-kun, SCIENCE, and possible de-witching?

EDIT: Hmm, the bandwagon was too strong; vote tally wasn't needed after all. *shrug*
