I guess Homura just doesn't like him that much. We really need to get back on top with her. We're asking too much and she's bucking. I'm okay with leaving him 3/4 healed if it means not pushing Homura over the edge.

We could send the non-meguca on ahead then finish up here, or there's the grief jet for transport.

I'm thinking we finish up what we can here in the time we have, maybe drop by again of an evening or during school if we don't get it done in time.
 
You guys didn't get it, huh. That was Homura, playing a practical joke on us. She used her power to finish fixing Kyousuke's hand and then answered "no" with a perfect deadpan delivery.

Edit: according to Firnagzen this does not seem to be the case. Unfortunate. It would have been a really funny joke.

@Firnagzen can we sense the level of grief in Homura's soul gem right now? And Madoka must be a pinkette, it is written in the ancient prophecy.

If her unhappiness is partly grief related then we only need to go to partial panic stations.
 
@Firnagzen, did we notice if there was suddenly a lot more grief in Homura's soul gem, or that Kyousuke's hand was suddenly healed (since there seems to be some uncertainty on the subject).

Nope. We do honestly seem to have annoyed her. I don't think the rest of our friends will take kindly to telling Kyosuke to just wait until later, but Mom isn't gonna budge on this, I think. Hm.
 
Still feels kinda odd though. Usually, in the past, she's given her reasons why she's not against whatever choice we thought about. Though it could just be because she's tired. She's been accumulating a noticeable amount of grief lately, right?
 
Things of importance this update:

1. Reassuring Homura that we respect her boundaries.
2. Defusing Sayaka before she gets worked up.
3. Meeting up with Nagisa on time.

Firn's reply implies that it's not enough to be effecting her current mood. She might just really want to not get hit on by Kyouske. Madoka might give her a tongue lashing later though. I'm starting to think that Homura is barely holding it together at this point. The signs are subtle but her self-control is so tight that even this much is worrying.

Homura is obviously uncomfortable about the healing. She will want to go with Madoka. We could remain behind with Mami to finish the healing (we'd probably be a bit late to meet Nagisa, but Madoka, Sayaka and Homura would be there to explain that we're running a bit late). Hitomi is going home afterwards, rather than to meet Nagisa, so she can do what she wants.

Edit: I'm actually really glad that we asked Homura and that she refused. This is healthy.

Fair points, although we'd still get there on time if we left on time. Meguca are fast. Homura would definitely want to stay with Madoka though, that's true. Having her leave and us stay makes her look bad in Madoka's eyes which is... really bad if she perceives it to be intentional or our fault. Guess we'll just have to wrap up for the day then, because the MOF is too awesome for Sayaka and Madoka ride in without it making them wonder if meguca life is worth it.
