What secret? It's a problem we already solved, not an ongoing thing we are actively hiding from her. I see no purpose in making her worry by telling her about how poorly Kyouko is doing right to her face. If there's an actual purpose to telling her how poorly Kyouko's doing in Kasamino, then sure, go right ahead, but not if the only reason for doing so is so we can say that we are being truthful with Mami.

Part of being as honest and genuine with Mami as we can be is to actually 'be' honest and genuine and stop running everything through the happy filter.
Kyouko has problems. It does us less good to hide those problems only for Mami to find out about it later.

That's not quite what the current vote has us doing, which seems to be going out of it's way to emphasize exactly how much of a hole Kyouko dug herself in. Maybe try something like this instead?

Now that I think about it, we need a bit more detail than "Inform Mami and Homura about the possibility of megucas" if we want to get through lunch without an interrupt.
We'll say "oh yeah some meguca might be stopping by in town because of things I did" and Homura will have a minor freak out because oh my god unknown magical girls threat threat threat panic! and start pressing about whether they're a threat to Madoka and then we'll have to have another vote.

Even if she doesn't, making the claim that they just die if the soul gem fills up completely works for most purposes. It's not that far from the truth anyway.
