For a minute I thought you were suggesting we name our attack "Mami Tomoe"...We should use Mami's name for our attack. It'd make her happier, right?

Except that she already gave it a name, and the only real reason to use it is to make her happy, so...
I really, really doubt she'd be upset at us using Italian naming,
Look, we're just using it to make her happy- there's no other reason we'd want to use it. Being close to Mami isn't the issue. Being the only emotional crutch she has is.Oh I'm not saying it would make her upset or such. I'm saying that copying her down to the naming style is a bit far. Remember we do want to de-limpet Mami. So we have to, in my view anyway, walk the fine line between keeping her happy and drawing her even closer to Sabrina.
And "Dissoluzione bianca" is kinda lame. Zerfall Strahl* sounds, to me at least, far cooler!
*I used online dictionaries and google to pick the individual words no idea if this is grammatically correct or if they are even the right words (Disintegration Beam)
Two breaths. It works just fine given that grief pulling is a OHKO move. And Zerfall Strahl sounds like we're gargling a mouthful of broken glass.Just as FYI: Dissoluzione Bianca has seven syllables. It's not really something that lends itself well to being shouted.
Personally, I have a soft spot for going full Gilgamesh and naming each of our attacks after a mythological weapon, but eh, it's personal preference.
Unfortunately, I can't think of a mythological weapon that fits well with just telekinetically ripping something to pieces.Just as FYI: Dissoluzione Bianca has seven syllables. It's not really something that lends itself well to being shouted.

...was anyone else thinking 'cuccos revenge squad' when all those familiars came rushing in? Mami did blow up a chicken immediately beforehand, after all.
Ugo, what exactly do you think you are doing?Spoken German makes even something like ordering breakfast sound like delivering a death warrant. Italian's smoother, and it's for Mami's sake, anyway.

Okay, that's an exaggeration and poorly worded, but still...when it comes to languages, German sounds a bit...harsh. That's the point I was trying to get at.
Now that, we could name Gungnir (Odin's spear)....I wonder, could we create a Grief Bolg? Tell a Witch-spear to pierce the Soul Gem/Heart/Witch Core without fail?
Actually...that would be an awesome finisher. Throw spear, autostab core without fail? No tearing needed.
I don't mind condensing the speech votes: the specific little wording wars are some of the worst ones, and Firn generally gets our intent across pretty well. And I hate the idea of condensing the start of the secrets discussion. Especially just for the sake of starting it. Don't get frustrated at meta-pacing and do things properly. Ugo's vote is ok, I guess, probably can use improvement. But let's not fuck this up by not putting due care.

Feathers slough off the Witch's wing, collapsing in sprays of ash, and the underlying layers of ash wither away to dust, leaving behind a brachiate webwork of shrivelled veins as you tear away the Grief that gives it animation and form. You instinctively coalesce the Grief into the roiling, curling wings hovering behind you.
The Witch screams, a reverberating and utterly alien ululating noise that slams against the three of you in a hurricane of sound. The shriek warbles louder and louder, conveying despite its alien nature pain beyond comprehension.
You... might have hurt it, you think.
Well Tiro Finale is shooting someone in the face with a cannon...So honestly, it just comes down to "Italian sounds cooler than German".
Ugolino. We are talking about an attack that is best described as literally flaying a living being alive!!!
From what we've seen Witches seem to be capable of feeling pain and been griefripped...well...:
Seems to hurt quite a bit. (added bold for emphasis)
Smoothness is not something we should be associating with an attack like this.
