OKAY FOLKS!

Once we get home, we have a new objective.

We... are going to the ZOO!

And we're taking Mami, Nagisa, and the gang!

And we will have FUN!

Or not necessarily the zoo. But something to relax.
Yeah, her full recovery is going to require time more than anything else. Still, two big points we can address are her lack of connections and narrow self-image. We must help her find a life beyond her work as a magical girl. Oh well, we've said this countless times over the last few weeks, I'm pretty sure we're all in agreement on this one.

I think someone was planning a sleepover with everyone over at HomuHomu's castle after all this.

Curses! Then we'll just have to wait until we can do MAD SCIENCE with the Pleiades....
...
(ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻
It'd be kind of awkward if we let it slip that Oriko arranged for Kyubey to contract Yuma but I like the idea of inviting people to Oriko's without asking for permission.
That didn't happen in this timeline, remember? Oriko had no contact with Yuma this time around, which is why her contract timing was delayed for 12 hours.

[q]Pendulum rides for everyone.

I thought the sleepover was at Mumi's place too?
It will be.

Because we're going to be social, and have MULTIPLE SLEEPOVERS!

We'll have sleepovers until everyone is friends with everyone else.

And then our oujo will have friends, and be in a better headspace, and hopefully Sayaka and Kyouko will get together and form their OTP, and Madoka will be happy, and Nagisa will be the cutest little sister, and Homura will actually speak to other people, and....

More sleepovers and zoo trips are required.

I recall that happening and I didn't read Oriko Magica.

EDIT: Found it. Also found a typo.
She shakes her head slowly. "I talked to Kirika. I went on a date with her. And she still wanted to make the contract. Chitose Yuma... I told Kyuubey about her. The fire, the bomb, were the first... overt things I put in motion."

Well, it's less overt than what she did in Oriko, which was her appearing in front of Yuma and prodding her with Kyouko's death until she contracted, so it shouldn't slip at all in this timeline.

I haven't seen much reaction to the fact Sabrina is a foreigner. Is that just me? I suppose maybe xenophobia is more common in smaller towns in Japan?

Also, I wonder if Homura or anyone else noticed yet how we look at time differently. After all, it's almost like a secondary power- freezing time every now and then so as to plan carefully what to do next? That's a super power right there.

And also a crippling weakness when it comes to negotiation meetings.

Correcting mine; everyone present should already have their soul gems from when we woke them up and went to help the rescue workers, so that point wasn't needed.

Edit: Another correction - We still have Sakura's gem, so that would be the one to hand back.

[x] Agree to let them retrieve the grief seeds. The rest will wait here for them to get back.
[x] Hand Sakura back her soul gem.
[x] Re: Akiko — Unsure until we find out what's going on with her.
[x] Re: Fukushima — No pay; possible penalties for collateral damage. Will wait to wake them up until Sendai gets back.
[x] While waiting on the Sendai group to get back, ask Mami to set up seats so people can be more comfortable.
[x] Unwind a bit.
[x] Speak with Noa. She was acting like she had some questions she wanted to ask.

Until Kyubey mentions it.
Now, aren't you glad that we went out of our way to break everyone's trust in Kyubey?

Japanese xenophobia is usually expressed in a fairly subtle way. People won't start throwing eggs at you for walking down the street, it's expressed in more of a discrimination/cold shoulder method. Other than a few odd looks, it won't come up unless we enroll into the school or try to find a job or something.

Essentially, Sabrina extremely intelligent, but absent-minded, in my headcanon.

We broke Mami's; we still need to work on everyone else- including Kyoko. It'll still be a problem even if we've trashed his credibility and Kyoko isn't the trusting type, but letting her know we've dealt with Oriko is a good first step to stop her from giving Oriko the spear treatment.

@Gadjo
Yep, brain damage is a canonical and Mami-recognized trait. :D

Yeah, but what about from the Megucas we've met? I guess we just haven't met enough of them to meet a hardcore Nationalist yet?

They've bigger fish to fry, and in general xenophobia is less prevalent amongst the younger generation. It is still present, of course, but you wont find many ultra nationalists amongst teenagers.

Reading Wild's Home for Parahumans reminds me of something we can do that Moira does, there: Falling.

After this whole thing is over, before we get back home, we take Mami and Kirika in our grief plane and fly really, really high until we can barely breath. Then we dissolve the plane and drop. It'll be fun. Relaxing.

I bet ribbon parachutes are a thing Mami can do, and we should try to get Kirika home without waking Oriko up again.
Also, it'd be awesome.
Also also, this 'breathing' of which you speak is smalltime. Let's go full Felix Baumgartner up in this shit. :V

Correction to my correction: After rereading stuff, I'm pretty sure everyone except Sakura has their soul gems (Sakura traveled with us on the rescue bits, so stayed within range of the soul gem that we'd kept, and it's explicitly noted that we still had her soul gem at that point). So the only one we'd be handing back would be hers. I'm assuming there's no issues with doing so at this point?

When did we hand Sendai's soul gems back?
