Don't you guys want to study metal? Having our own production on that would be a huge game-changer.
You can assume I want that. Always. Somethings get in the way but yeah I want it.

Oh yeah, those GG actions... We'll have to see, vote may change due to them.
We're eating through them at 3/turn without any LoO triggers or provinces doing Expand Economy (according to the mini-turn update at least)

This also increases the number of provinces we have, providing both more province actions and more baby boom triggers.

[X] [Main] Expand Warriors
[X] [Secondary] Study Metal
[X] [Secondary] Establish Annual Festival

[X] [Main] Mega project - The Garden
[X] [Secondary ] Mega project - The Garden
[X] [Secondary ] Mega project - The Garden

[X] Kick the garden.

I think you'll want to specify the secondary is doubled, or it won't tally correctly.

[X] [Main] New Settlement - Eastern Hills
[X] [Secondary] Establish Annual Festival
[X] [Secondary] New Trails

If we build a new settlement, it'll need a wall. Since we've got plenty of room for the baby boom this turn, we can put it off (not to mention, local chiefs will likely expand more settlements).

I hope we get those innovations...

@Academia Nut A couple questions.

If our local chiefs are building new settlements, why don't we have the option of building new holy sites?

What about the new actions Greater Good was supposed to give?

Is the baby boom over? I thought we were supposed to get 6 econ...but we only got 3.

The new settlements at secondary action level get 'clinic' level holy sites, and generally I'm only tracking the primary settlements of the provinces rather than individual settlements for the purposes of Holy Sites.

New action added.

Baby Boom has yet to pay out, that +6 was just from the actions taken last turn, I just realized that half was on a longer payout schedule.

We don't need it but we get an extra econ action for every province secondary. It was never about having more space, but about getting more free econ.
Unless we plan to go on a Econ splurge next turn, Econ 6 should be fine.

Even at 3/turn, we still have 4 turns to do so. You can rest assured that I won't push it off for another turn. But we really need more warriors and more Stability.

Too many baby booms is itself a bad thing as well.

Grand Sacrifice - Communal sacrifice is a great way to bring the People together, and to also even out class distinctions. NOTE: Because the People do not use human sacrifice, the Econ costs are especially harsh. Max Stability: Legitimacy
*S: -2 Econ, +1 Stability
*M: -3 Econ, +2 Stability

@Academia Nut It doesn't really matter, but you didn't update the list of options, just the spoiler with their descriptions.

... Not bad. Not great, either, but the "even out class distinctions" aspect is nice.

Still think we need to deal with corruption first, though, so I'm sticking with Restore Order.

Also there's been mods to another of our projects
Establish Annual Festival - A yearly harvest festival and a planting festival brings entertainment and stability by reminding people of the good things in life, and can help teach newcomers the ways of the People, so perhaps another festival might be of use?
* S: -1 Econ, +1 Stability, chance for additional effects
* M: -1 Econ, +1 Stability, +1 Art, chance for additional effects
* Max Stability: Legitimacy - 1
We have a cap for it now.

To every one who has voted Expand Warriors. Might it not be better to vote Build More Chariots?

That new action as a main is looking mighty powerful. Might go for it next turn if we get hit with another stability drop to -1.

Always had that, just changed from flat 2 to "legitimacy-1".

Not really. As previously discussed, the DPs are not in a position to send a large war mission out. We've got enough defensive bonuses that if they send a small force we can beat them back without any problems.

Also stressing our means of government even further,
Huh? It'll decrease centralization a bit but we're pretty well set up for dealing with provinces considering that's what the whole government transition thing was all about.

No, we need as much econ as possible. I want enough econ that #we can burn it all in a main.
Also, I want to be able to expand to the other hills and etc. If you look at the map, this province is the first step to stretching all the way across, and the one and only place that's in a relatively unprotected area rather than a hilly forest.

Still think we need to deal with corruption first, though, so I'm sticking with Restore Order.
:cry:

[X] [Main] More Blackbirds
[X] [Secondary] Restore Order x2

Really wanted to kick off the megaproject this turn but Econ is a hair lower than I'm comfortable with given other shenanigans that could pop up.

Well since we now have a baby boom

[X] [Main] Grand Sacrifice

This should take us to stability 1

[X] [Secondary] Study Metal
[X] [Secondary] Expand Annual Festival
Then study metal and stability 2 just to be safe
Order of actions...

Do you want to go negative on econ midturn and have bad things happen? That's how you do it.

@Sivantic
We're doing the expansion of warriors for the innovation to organization/warfare, not purely for martial score.

Well since we now have a baby boom

[X] [Main] Grand Sacrifice

This should take us to stability 1

[X] [Secondary] Study Metal
[X] [Secondary] Expand Annual Festival

Then study metal and get to stability 2 just to be safe
We only have 3 econ at the moment, so that'll cost us 1 stability from dipping into -1 econ.
