Return of the Jedi Production Turn 1:
As you stepped off the plane in Arizona, you could feel the heat of the desert, but also the clearness of it. It was not the dry heat of the Desert in Tunisia or the rain that followed. But it was a desert that was completely alien. It was rocky, not filled with the dunes and sand.
It was a lot. And you took a moment to take a breath, before George jumped in front of you, trying to scare you. "Come on Bruce, you're going to stand there like a statue, or are we going to make this picture?"
At that, you could feel Carrie wrap her arms around your own as she guided you to the tent and trailer that was for you and the crew. The hotel for much of the production staff was a few miles away, and they would be bussed in, but George had some special trailers bought to make sure everyone who could be on set could be comfortable. There were AC units and new prototypes that ILM guys had to try and use. They didn't work too well, but the AC on the Jabba puppet was enough to not kill anyone.
There was only some silence as you could feel yourself smile as you walked Carrie towards the set. "You know, I hope when this is over, we can look back to all this crazy stuff with pride and happiness, as a chapter of our lives, rather than the seminal moment."
Carrie snorted. "Bruce, I won an Oscar before you. And being a mom to Mary and the twins is a far better reward and chapter than being a vain movie star."
That left you quiet. "Oh I don't know, but-"
At that, you could see George fold his arms. "As much as you two both deserve each other, try not to get Carrie pregnant before filming is over. Wait till after we're done and we don't need reshoots. We are not doing this to Steve."
Right, your fearless director. God, you did not pity Steve for this situation, but at least when it was all over, things can be fun.
Carrie let go as you walked next to Steve and took a deep breath. "Worried?"
"Now?" He asked. "No. Later? God, I hope not."
"You know me and George can help you right?" You said.
"Oh, I know. The problem is, George might be looking over my shoulder."
"George is like that sometimes, but he trusts you with this, hell he trusted me, and that was a nightmare and a half to get him to spill the beans about the Luke thing."
"Wait he didn't tell you?" Steve asked.
"Didn't tell me till the day of filming." You replied. "I recall having it handcuffed to his wrist."
George then shouted. "That is a lie and you know it, Bruce!"
You smiled and gave a laugh. "Well at least we might be able to have this done in a few months, and we'll be in California for a nice air-conditioned studio lot and set."
Steve only laughed. "God help me."
At that, you both laughed. "Don't say that, we've still got the entire shoot to get through."
-------------------------------------------------------------
Due to the Bigness of this Production, you are going to have to keep Steve's Stress lower than 6. (increased due to having a second unit team, and George)
It starts at zero, due to how you handled the other things during preproduction.
If it goes higher than 6, there will be consequences. Negative ones.
Every failed Action gives Steve One stress.
Certain Actions will automatically lower Steve's Stress.
------------------------------------------
You have 3 Actions (You do not have 4 as you are not directing the film)
Production Actions:
[]The Kids invade the Set, Oh My: So Marcia and Marilou brought the kids to the set, for spring break so you need to play your best Uncle Bruce impression and give the kids a good time. DC: 45
[]The Jabba Puppet from Hell: That puppet is going to kill someone, you fear, due to how hot it is. DC: 30
[]Carrie's newest outfit: She wants you to sleep with her tonight, but she is also making it very clear Gosling number 4 is on the way. You have to be strong, and tell Carrie to wait. But she's teasing you so badly. DC: 40
[]Kenny Backers Poor Performance issues: The Desert is going to hurt his poor back, and you think that he needs some more help making the R2 unit far more…comfortable. DC: 35
[]Anthony's Sandy Shell: Sand is getting everywhere, and maybe some help would be appreciated. DC: 25
[]The Sarlacc Jump: Mark says he can do the jump on the jump, but that is a 20-foot drop, and you think he needs far more safety precautions besides the wires. He was not you. Dc: 35
[]The Fight on the Barge: The Fight was going to be too tame and casual. You needed more… well, honestly you didn't know, maybe George and Steve would come up with something. DC: ???
[]Being Blind: So you were supposed to be blind from Carbonite sickness… and honestly, you could look and act like you were blind DC: ???
[]Make Sure Steve sticks to the schedule: You have a schedule so that Steve does not get too stressed out. Hopefully, he sticks to it. DC: 20
AN: enjoy and plan format please.
