Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

,,,Oh dear God! Murdock, what did you do?!
Well to bring up an old wound.

"He didn't return my calls..." That was Shineburgs greatest mistake, as Mike was on the shortlist to be hired as president of Universal, before Mike became our mike. So everyone returns Mike Eisners calls.

the problem was, this time, Murdock returned his calls, with an offer that was so fucking bad, that it was borderline insulting.

And considering who mike is... Racist and anti-Semitic. Because who would drunk call one of your rivals for a movie/ acting deal with one of the top men in Hollywood, and do something and say something like that. :V

Ah, the Sony Special.

Well, well...We were looking for a new archnemesis after making a sort of peace with Universal.

Let's show this fox there's a new hound around the pens.

Ah, the Sony Special.
sony isn't stupid enough to fuck around with Mike Eisner. not yet at least

They already lost the Walkman due to ILM and the Magicians being fucking magic... and patents.

See, when people get in the way of Mike Eisner making money... they will... in essence...

Fuck around and find out.
Well, well...We were looking for a new archnemesis after making a sort of peace with Universal.

Let's show this fox there's a new hound around the pens.
It's a new decade, we need a new enemy, that isn't the mainland chinese film industry.

Thats the 90's

Disney Animated Show Pitch: Loonatics Unleashed
I know I already made a Pitch that supported DC, and now I'm doing this one that would support Disney of all studios, but I can't help myself when it comes to shows that I loved to see and wished they could have lasted longer. The innovative creation, in my opinion, was just what the brand needed at the time, as it finally dared to step out of their previous sandbox and try for something truly unique and fun. It's just a shame that apparently people were just not that into them.

I think this can work better this time around, considering first that we are in the time where Cyberpunk and science fiction shows are on the rise, along with the creation of new shows from Disney that will surely make this a peer with DuckTales, if not in viewership, at least in time of creation.

Thus, I give you:

Disney Animated Show Pitch:
Loonatics Unleashed

GENRE: Action/Adventure/Comedy

SUBGENRE: Science Fiction/Drama/Thriller

FORMAT: Animated TV Show

Set Up
: Based on the Looney Tunes characters created by the former Warner Brothers Studios. In the year 2772, a meteor strikes the city-planet of Acmetropolis, knocking it off its axis. This cosmic event releases supernatural forces unleashing a new kind of hero...The Loonatics! Descendants of the old Looney Toons that with their new supernatural powers have been recruited to fight against said menace.

Animation: Disney Studios
Series Director: Alan Zaslove
Writer: Jymn Magon
Length: 4 Seasons

Ace Bunny: He is the leader of the Loonatics. He is adroit, quick-witted, and loyal to his friends and teammates. Ace's weapon of choice is the Guardian Strike Sword, a collapsible sword revealed in the second season to be a Frelengian energy weapon. Other than the powers granted by the meteor strike, he is also an adept martial artist. Ace is the descendant of Bugs Bunny and his uniform has yellow accents.

Played By: Billy West
Alternate: Charlie Adler

Lexi Bunny: She is an anthropomorphic rabbit, and the descendant of Lola Bunny. Before gaining her powers, Lexi was a student at Acmetropolis University who tried to join the school's cheerleading squad. The captain, afraid she was too good, did not accept her. Lexi enjoys playing video games, being the best at it, and wears a pink uniform. She leads the group alongside Ace Bunny and Danger Duck.

Played By: Kath Soucie
Alternate: Mary Kay Bergman

Danger Duck: He is a descendant of Daffy Duck. He is the spotlight hungry, egotistical member of the Loonatics, and wears a black and orange uniform, a pair of blue eyes, and a small mohawk. Danger Duck, even though he doesn't prove it sometimes, is one of the strongest members of the Loonatics, since his powers evolve with time.

Played By: Joe Alaskey
Alternate: Greg Burson

Slam Tasmanian: He is the group's muscle-bound heavyweight and wears a black and purple uniform, his eyes are red and are originally black before his heroic union. Slam is a descendant of Taz the Tasmanian Devil and most likely the Tasmanian She-Devil. While Slam is generally brawns over brains, he does show great intelligence when it comes to battle strategies.

Played By: Maurice LaMarche
Alternate: John Kassir

Tech E. Coyote: He is the team's technician member and has superintelligence. He is a descendant of Wile E. Coyote. Like his ancestor, Tech relies on gadgets with the distinctive difference that Tech makes them himself, and that they actually work the way he built them. Tech does not have an English accent, as his ancestor did. He wears a black and light green uniform with a different button to his bodysuit.

Played By: Barry Gordon
Alternate: Dan Castallaneta

Rev Runner: He is a head-spinningly quick character in more ways than one. He is the descendant of Road Runner. He wears a black and red uniform with turquoise eyes. Unlike his ancestor, Rev speaks English rather than saying "meep meep". Before gaining his powers, Rev was a delivery boy for Quick Wrap Sandwich Shack and an inventor who was always late, even while using the rocket skates he created.

Played By: Rob Paulsen
Alternate: Townsend Coleman
Zadavia: She is the Loonatics' beautiful yet mysterious supervisor and possible benefactor. She often appears to them as a hologram (she rarely appears in person). When appearing in her holographic form, she usually contacts the Loonatics to inform them of a threat to Acmetropolis and dispatches them to contain it.

Played By: Nancy Cartwright

Optimatus: He is Zadavia's brother. He is a mysterious character who possesses similar, if not exactly the same, powers and abilities as his sister. Optimatus has a cybernetic eye due to an accident on planet Freleng which resulted in him getting caught in the heat of the jet Zadavia escaped Freleng with, for which she claimed to be sorry about.

Played By: Tony Jay

A.N.: I've decided to add just the core characters since now that the Looney Tunes are owned by Disney, it means they can try and add some Disney inspired characters here as well. I see this show being done at around 1985 or later, hopefully managing to last at least four seasons.

While I'm in favor of this, I will heavily suggest retooling the main team somewhat, mainly because Lola Bunny doesn't exist yet ITTL, so it wouldn't make sense to keep Lexi as is.

I, myself, have had the idea of a Loonatics reboot where Ace and Lexi were combined into one character (preferably female), which also opened up a spot for a new sixth member (in my case, I was thinking of a female Pepe Le Pew descendent who, while still a hopeless romantic, was more of a shy girl with barrier powers that have a bad habit of going off when she gets nervous). Maybe you could do something like that...?

I think I would be more of the idea that Lola is created earlier than in OTL. Besides, Tiny Toons introduced Babs Bunny without any character behind her, so perhaps this can work as well.

When do you think technology is strong enough to support games like fnaf?
Exept if we have also affected the videogames technology timeline i would say the mid 90s ?,wolfenstein 3d was made in 92 but i'm not sure if that level of 3d would be good enough to make fnaf without loosing some of his impact.

I think Lucasfilms tapping onto the Video Games market could considerably increase the rate of progress for video games now that a billion dollar company is investing cash in the industry giving game developer and console designers the ability to expirament and improve the games they create potentially allowing fnaf to exist maybe in the mid to late 90s

So since the action movie craze is going to come into full swing I'd like to point out that Mad Max 2 is set to premier in December(or May of 82 in the US). And since we did such a good job of distributing the first one we (hopefully) shouldn't have to much problems getting ahold of Road Warrior.

Also If we decide to do a Judge Dredd movie should it be based off the 1995 movie the 2012 movie or something else entirely?

  • [X] Plan If I Hafta Work, Then At Least Let's Make It Fun
-[X] The Herald of the Change: Francis took a look at the script, and managed to add in one more little… change. But he needs a great actor with gravitas and power. So… You. Nothing but twenty minutes of work on a few shooting days, nothing more.
-[X] The Bros: So let's see this silly Comedy make a wave! DC: 20
-[X] Star Wars Issues: So…George may have been on a vacation. But something has come up. Lawrence and David were arguing for the title. George and David thought Return of the Jedi was better. While Lawrence thought revenge of the Jedi was…more thematically appropriate.
-[X] Investing in the Future: You want to Spend some of that money you made into the company and make the whole thing better DC: ??? (Linetail what you want to invest in, and how much money you want to invest in it)
--[X] Ardmore Studios [$20 Million]: Lucasfilm Unlimited is excited to announce its intention to acquire Ardmore Studios, a move that will facilitate the expansion of its operations into Europe while making a significant contribution to the Irish economy. By acquiring Ardmore Studios, Lucasfilm Unlimited aims to establish a strong foothold in Europe and leverage the studio's existing infrastructure and expertise. This strategic partnership will not only bring world-class film production capabilities to Ireland but also create numerous job opportunities and foster economic growth in the local community. Lucasfilm Unlimited is committed to supporting Ireland's creative industries and looks forward to collaborating with local talent and contributing to the flourishing entertainment sector in the country.
---[X] Due to the current workload, instead of traveling to negotiate in person, invite the relevant figures and their representatives to negotiate these sales in LA on your dime; you also plan on having Mike and your dad there to help with negotiations.
-[X] TSR, Inc. [$22 Million] After much prompting from Mike and Carrie, especially following the release of R. Talsorian's Cyberpunk TTRPG, you've finally given in and decided to back Lucasfilm Unlimited's acquisition of TSR, Inc. Shockingly there hasn't been much interest in their game beyond the nieche, even though most everyone you know plays it. So, Mike had a plan that involved a lot of fluff words that went something like: "The initial phase involves conducting market research to assess TSR, Inc.'s current market position and potential synergies. A financial assessment will follow to evaluate the company's valuation, assets, and revenue streams. Strategic alignment will be identified, focusing on how the acquisition can enhance Lucasfilm's existing intellectual properties. Legal and regulatory considerations will be addressed to ensure a smooth acquisition process. A detailed integration plan will be developed-". You know, making it pretty for the lawyers.
-[X] As the Seasons Change: The Romanian Government respectfully invited you and Brian to see the new memorial you funded last year. You think it would be okay. DC: 0
-[X] Carrie Working Out: Carrie wants to, in her eyes, lose more weight from all the pregnancies she had, and never having a chance to slim down after Star Wars due to the twins, and she wants to do it with you…So you will obliged her.
-[X] Dad's Got Some Issues: Dad has come to you with some troubling news. "Bruce, it's Universal… They're trying to get me to star in some stupid Action film." DC: 30
-[X] In the Interests of Clint: Clint Eastwood was always a bit… strange, but now he is putting his foot down with you. "Bruce, I need your help before I actually shoot someone. Some asshole at Colombia has stolen a Western I wanted, and I need that Western." DC: 40
-[X] The Family Time: You need a night out with the family dammit! No more drama, no more work, just you and Carrie and the Kids!
-[X] Hanging out with the Friends: It's been far to long since you, John, and Robin hung out, so you will go out for some drinks and have some fun. DC: 45
-[X] Investments: You want to invest your hard-earned cash into something that you feel will be a good return on investment. And as well as diversify your assets DC: 0 (Linetail what you wish to invest in below this action, and the amount of money you want to invest in)
--[X] The Bruce Lee Memorial Gymnasium Franchise [$150 Million]: You've honestly been thinking about having the gym branch out to other locales for awhile now, and with you wanting to ensure your master's lessons are spread as far as they possibly can be, martial and philosophical, now might be the time to see about expanding into other major American cities, like Chicago, Houston and New York. And while we're at it, elevate Linda into being its CEO.

--[X] Ed Greenwood. You've seen the setting he's created, Carrie has expressed his liking of it, and frankly you think it would be a great chance to have it be released by Talsorian. Speak with Ed and make an offer of $5,000,000 for the Forgotten Realms setting, and offer him an additional $10,000 for him to be a design consultant.
--[X] John Brabourne. Also known as John Ulick Knatchbull, 7th Baron Brabourne, has just recently gotten the rights for A Passage to India one of the greatest novels to be written in the 20th century, and all he needs now is financing. Make him an offer for Lucasfilms to Produce the film, offer $30,000,000 and leave him with the freedom to choose Director, casting, etc.
--[X] Gary David Goldberg. From what you've heard he's had this idea for a Sitcom that inverts the roles so far seen on TV, making liberal parents having to deal with conservative children. Sounds like a fun time in your opinion, so why not try and talk with him to see if he's willing to have his idea be done for your new channel.
--[X] James D. Parriott. A veteran of television who has worked on many iconic series such as Six Million Dollar Man, Wonder Woman, and Incredible Hulk, Parriott is pitching a Sci-fi show about a time traveler and his sidekick from the present traveling across time to major historical events, and making sure history unfolds correctly. Some cool adventure stories combined with a great concept and educational value, you think it could be an awesome show for all audiences and help develop Lucasfilms' Sci-Fi edge on the small screen.
[X]A New Age For Westerns (Clint Eastwood has gotten ideas)

Um... We have a Tie, I need a tie breaker in ten minutes. If there is not one, I roll the dice.

Magoose, Schehera Zade voted for our plan, but since he chose his reward it was not counted.

Edit: See, it's right here:
[X] Plan Let's Invest in Talent

I still think we should start buying up that land since it's so time critical, but I suppose we could spare a turn. Would've made my own plan, but I'm wrapping a homework assignment as well as putting some finishing touches on the Red Dead Redemption pitch. I should be able to get that out either tonight or tomorrow afternoon(because of classes).

"What's TSR stand for? Talsorian, of course!"

That seems kind of low? Idk, I'm terrible with stuff like that. It's why I dropped out of studying accounting.
This means our plan wins by one vote.
