Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

To be honest, I always made the animated films with the intention of them being musicals in the vein of Disney movies. So, yeah, both Hiawatha and John Henry also have songs and musicals.
Some of the only songs I can see them singing are Gospel, where the John Henry's at mass with the Irishmen, and working songs, all of them unique to the movie.

Give me a sec to dig up a few.

[EDIT: Sorry for delay, had to edit this on phone and it was a pain.]

Meanwhile with Universal and Blue Sky Studios, they're still hyperfixated on that weird Ice Age movie and going through hell to see it cross the finish line
Does this mean that the guys at Blue Sky are crunching? If so I feel sorry for them because there is a big chance that it won't be a huge succes like Dreamworks and Disney have due to this being their first movie (I think) and it being rushed due to crunch.

Yep.

They don't belong in the Mike Eisner action plan, so I instead am going to do them every march.

Unfortunately, we can only do 2 tv shows currently at the same time.
Actually that just reminded me, we chose Pacific Rim to be done by Dreamworks but it's supposed to be a TV Show and not a movie. Will that be the case here or did we fuck up?

two weeks to make a movie ?,do you mean recording it?,or thing where very different in the 80s ?
Two weeks for filming to be all done. Post productin will take longer, but the actual meat and potatos of filming was done in two weeks.

I mean hey... Steve got Marathon madness in ten days.
because these day making a movie it's months or even years no ?
extremely small cast, with only one set, and a very talented director at the helm?

A film can be done in days, rather then weeks with that kind of talent behind the production.

It's a good thing too. Bruce gets to spend more time with his kids.
Bruce is not someone to underestimate.
He tried to beat Steves record but it was not to be.

We're making Horro films, the kind of films that most amateur directors or students can make thanks to them needeing less budget. At the same time, Bruce is a veteran Director, with top of the notch cast, an amazing script, a budget that can be best described as "Yes" and the best Special Effects Company this side of the Atlantic and the Pacific.

Honestly, it would be amazing if we failed.

TBH, we got some pretty poor rolls in some key places. Location, Creature Design, and some of our personal Chemistry Rolls specifically jump to mind here.
"Bruce we can't get everything done in ten days, we've had no time!"

"GET WHAT YOU CAN DONE DAMMIT! WE CAN DO THIS!"

Considering the amount of love and respect that ILM have for Bruce and George, they would be willing to pull those kinds of stunts on occassion to get what those two want.

Esspecially George.

I can already see the tabloids rushing to publish the "BREAKING HEADLINE NEWS OF BRUCE O'BRIAN'S TORRID LOVE AFFAIR WITH SEAN YOUNG: CARRIE O'BRIAN LEFT WEEPING AT BETRAYAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" :V
And Bruce loads his shot gun and prepared to sue people to oblivion.
There was a previous animation war?!

Who had the balls to take on Walt Disney himself?!
Didn't Warner for a time make the Loney Tunes?

And Tom and jerry were a thing?

I mean in the old i mean OLD days of hollywood Disney's future was up in arms as there were many animation studios mush more stronger than Disney in the ring. It took a combination of Walt's skills and leadership and a huge amount of luck to not only survive but prosper during those cutthroat years
