At Home, With Love and Action Turn 55 Results (November-December 1977)
-[X] The Breakdown of Several Things (Conan): You and Steve want to learn from the production of Conan. There is things you want to do to make things better. DC: ??? Rolled:
D100 => 76
So much happened over the course of filming that you never realized how much things changed over the course of filming Conan. Steve for one thing became almost unflappable, nothing fazed him anymore in the production.
And you, honestly just proved you were one of the leading stuntmen, leading action stars, and of course, and just humbly brag… the greatest action director of Hollywood. Everyone knew about it, and that was honestly quite refreshing once you realized that people were recognizing you for your directing talent…
However, it was not for actually being an artist, it was the ability to make things happen, with action, crazy stunts, and spectacle. It was honestly… rather depressing, that you were not seen as any more than a guy who can make action flow.
Yet in all this… you knew this. You were not shooting over seas without having some damn good assurances, and the Jordan Ministry of Culture can kiss your ass for allowing the Beatles to fuck up your sets!
Yet you were happy with what you learned.
Reward: In the next production, gain a -40 to the production rolls. If the next film is great, a negative bonus may be applied permanently.

-[X] Preparing for the Media Blitz: Mike wants you to be front and center with the media blitz for Conan next year. That means you have to suck it up, and start smiling for the cameras that you hate. DC: 30 Rolled:
D100 => 46-10=36
Mike was not happy at all with your iron refusal to meet with the press not on your own terms. "We must find a way to get people into seats Bruce, and if that means you have to smile for the cameras, you will do it!"
"Yeah, and they will do their best to violate my privacy like my life was something like a movie."
Mike than sighed. "That may be, but we're also in the business of making money. If that little sacrifice is something we have to make for profits… so be it."
Dammit Mike, you may be a great guy, but you also were an ass on occasion. "Fine. But if they come close to my house, I will fucking end them."
"Noted." He replied.
Reward: New Actions Available.

-[X] The Editing Masqarade: How many films are edited at the same time and who gets the first pick to finish, Jesus Christ! DC: ??? Rolled:
D100 => 18
"Wait, you guys didn't hire an editor for our film?" You asked as Brian, John, George, and Martin were all at the meeting room. "Like even a preliminary one?"
"Well we did, but they quit after your shoot went to hell, and they said they would not want to be a part of Steve's mess," Brian said. "But we hadn't paid him yet so he had every right to be, he's been waiting for a month."
You facepalmed. "You didn't pay him!?"
"Hey Mike was the one in charge, and all our films went swimmingly enough to where we could bring a lot of things done, he thought you were right behind him." George said. "Not exactly the smartest thing to do in hindsight, but honestly, it could be worse."
"What could be worse with a film with no editor?" You asked.
George smiled. "Well…"
Failure: All the other films have an editor or editors working on them, and the editors Mike hired bailed when he wouldn't pay them to wait for a few months… understandable, given the delays Conan suffered… But still.
This similar action must be taken again next turn so that the editing process may begin.

--[X] TV Division: $100 Million Rolled:
D100 => 5
Mike was adamant to focus on films, and that investing now was not a wise investment into the future, especially since we had nothing to really produce it, and most TV Producers were afraid of the goose.

Cannot invest in TV division for one year.
