The Wedding: Fairy Tales
You were waiting in the church, trying your best to try and find some things to focus on, but you were not exactly doing a good job in trying to get the jitters away. That much was certain from the way the photographer was deliberately trying to avoid you.
And you were really really trying your best to look less terrified than you actually were.
"Something wrong?" John said as he stood next to you. "Look paler than usual?"
"I don't know man, just feeling like shit, and it's not getting any better." You replied.
"Rehearsal was great, and frankly, we're lucky that everyone was sober enough for the bachelor party." There was a chuckle from John as he punched your shoulder. "Come on, you got everyone here."
Then you noticed George was with a camera, and Steve was behind him, with another.
"Oh shit," you swore as you walked over to George and Steve, both men were trying to prepare themselves for the ceremony. "George, what the hell? You told me you wouldn't film anything!"
George looked at Steve and smiled. "I'm not, Steve is." He replied with a grin as Steve waved. You could see that besides the fact he looked like he slept well, he was as chipper and full of energy as ever. "The fact you got him away from that Hellhole in Martha's Vineyard was something special. He's fortunate that this was the best excuse he had… He slept for more than six hours for the first time in a few months."
Steve indeed looked like hell, he was clearly running, if not on the energy of celebration and success, and mischief, than that of a man desperately taking control of what he can. After all, you heard something rotten was going on in the state of JAWS.
And Steve looked like he needed a break. This was the only way he could get it.
It was honestly kinda sad.
"Well, just make sure none of it gets to the press." You stated. "Carrie would kill me if that happens."
"You'll get the only copies." He said. "No questions asked."
"Not even keeping any for blackmail?" You smiled.
Steve looked heartbroken than he laughed. "I know for a simple fact that George is giving me a budget for my next film, and I do not care what you do."
You sighed in relief. "Thank goodness."
You then turned back to see Cat, looking at you with a smile. "Oh my brother is getting married… and not the one I thought?" She said as she hugged you, her daughter was running around, trying to get to the cape while her husband chased after her. "How does it feel to become a married man?"
"A bit like before, only I won't feel bad about asking for sex?" You joked, which earned a laugh from Cat. "No really, it's a great feeling."
"Oh don't worry, once the honeymoon bliss period is over, it will get easier."
"Why do you say that?" You asked.
"Believe me, you'll know." She replied as she gave a hug.
When she let go, you walked towards the front where you saw your father waiting for you. "My lord, you have been waiting for quite a while."
"My sister scares me." You stated as you looked at him with a glance.
Your father laughed. "Oh her husband felt the same way. Though I'm happy that things are going. Still feeling frightened that you might screw it all up?"
"Dad, after last night's rehearsal?" You started, but there was nothing but jovial laughter from your father.
"Oh don't you start now, we've got plenty of reasons to be happy, despite screw-ups. And this role you are going to have is going to have a lot of screw-ups."
You then saw your mom waiting, and waving to you, pointing at the front to get you ready. "But those screw-ups will be the moments you remember the most." He then gave you a hug. "You'll be okay."
"Thanks dad." You whispered.

Todd was the one leading Carrie down the Isle, and that was probably one of the happiest smiles you had ever seen on Carrie's face that you had ever seen.
Clad in all white, in a traditional Veil, Carrie slowly walked down the aisle, with every step matching with your heart beat, a slow methodical step that was ever entrancing in your heart.
She was trying to hid her gaze at you, as if she was waiting for the right moment to do anything more.
Todd than walked behind her, carefully watching you, than his mom as you focused entirely on Carrie.
You were quiet, thoughtful, and waiting for everything to be done.
And you moved the veil up. "Hello princess." You smiled, whispering as the priest, who had seen this before, only continued unabated. He knew that he was going to get some romantic things, but everything was going to be alright.
She smiled as she looked at you with a gaze that only you could share with her. Everything else didn't matter.
But you did have one last thing to say.
"Carrie Fisher, do you take Bruce O'Brian to be your husband? In sickness and in health, till death do you part?"
"I do." She whispered.
"Bruce O'Brian, do you take Carrie Fisher to be your wife? In sickness and in health, till death do you part?"
"I do." You replied, in the same soft tone as Carrie.
The priest continued speaking, but you both held each other's hand. This was your journey together now.
"You may kiss the bride." The priest said.
And you did.
And you and Carrier were going to do you're best, in all the goodness of life.
