Question: Won't the dragon be incredibly vulnerable to assassination as a chibi? You know like the alien invaders we captured that were almost assassinated?

[] Seal him in a less imposing physical body, with his powers sealed as well (somewhat harsh, renders him almost completely harmless while still giving him physical freedom. Implement chibi Dazarel).

So some things to note on that. 'Chibi dazarel' is not needlessly cruel, but removes his ability to be a danger to any and everyone until he's learned his lesson.
In such a situation, it's not entirely unlikely that he could eventually Piccolo the situation and be our eventual 'alien buddy that tried to kill us once but reformed later, and is 3rd strongest in our party'.
Also having a housecat sized angry dragon would be just about perfect to complete Kakara's image of 'benevolent super-being.'

I'm strongly against the 'sealing him inside us' option. It's cruel and does present a lot of risks, including evil manipulation and so on. I'm equally strongly against putting him in a jar and forgetting about him; We've all heard that particular story far too often to fall for it, I'm sure.
I'm... actually not as opposed to sealing him in a giant dragon body without super powers. Though it does raise questions such as logistics and all that.

So wait, the power of the seal remains all throughout its life right? So when we die is there any chance that he would be transferred to another Saiyan?

What if we, say, sealed him in the corpse of a baby?

We've got a whole world, there's probably a recently dead baby somewhere.
Seriously though, would a dead baby work? Y/N.

With how much Ki we're floating in, and with ki healing, we might even be able to bring the body back to life.

Alternatively, use percision and ridiculous amounts of ki to craft a new humanoid body fresh, then seal him into that.

If his full-size body has the capacity to survive in space, so too would the small body. For what it's worth, though, you doubt his method of propulsion in deep space is something purely physical, so the worst he could likely be able to do would be to fly up there and sulk.
Is there a method to... not really tether or leash him, so much as make it so we always have an awareness of where he is? I'm not sure if it would provide benefits our sensing wouldn't already primarily, because we can keep him from escaping just by teleporting to him if he ever tries.

We could fit him with a little gps collar, and if he misbehaves we can put him in a time out cage!

I'm guessing he would die as well, which would initially be what would convince him to lend us his power.

I have to disagree. As far as I can remember, every time a seal containing someone has failed or been destroyed in the whole Dragon Ball series, it has resulted in the sealed person being released, not destroyed.

Between Chibi, Cat, and head companion which one does the dragon himself prefer?

Having him in our head and trying to exploit his power is most similar to his intentions towards us. That is, having us in his head (mouth(temporarily)) and trying to gain our power.

Cat or chibi dragon mascot both allow him to actually move around and influence the world somewhat, which might be preferable or it might just remind him of his weakness.

Personally I like the thought of having a dragon mascot we might one day be able to release as a new member of our own generation of Z-fighter.
