Why are people averse to the "painlessly" addition to the "take him down" part of the plan? That seems pointlessly cruel to me.

It doesn't need to be forever just for a while till we think something better or he change in a semi decent person as vegeta and piccolo. Plus we are sure he is physic, we don't know if he have other magical abilities.

... Psychic abilities aren't magic. They're psi powers. I think Seer abilities might be a kind of psi power? Not magic either.

Now, if you mean 'other special abilities', sure, that's a potential concern. But it has ki and psi powers to our knowledge. We know of exactly zero magical abilities it has.

It could have ones we don't know about, but we know of none so, no, there's no concern of 'other' magical abilities. Any, yes. Other, no.

Because it's a psychic and, depending on its worldview, it can be literally a fate worse than death for it.
Come to think of it, killing it may well be more merciful than brainwashing it into submission too.
As mentioned previously, getting sealed inside us would be a better/easier prison then doing it another way.
Also, Kakara is psychic as well.

As for a fate worse then death, possibly, but one a bit nicer then other options, and it allows us to talk with it.

Also, you gain power/a transformation from killing this type of dragon, and since we're not going that route, I want to get my Dragon-Saiyan a different way.

Well if someone votes to seal the Dragon in us and the magic users don't act like we are insane then I will vote for it.

Hurting him as little as possible seem almost the same as painless to me and probably more easy to do since we have the power but I don't think we have the skill to end the fight without hurting him even a little. Plus if we do have the skill I don't see katara applying more force than necessary so it's a moot point anyway.

[X] Defeat him quickly, utterly and as painlessly as possible, locking down his power. Make him unable to continue fighting.
-[X] Then talk to him see if you make him stand down. See if sharing the knowledge and sensation that All is One can convince him onto a better path.
--[X] If he refuses, see if you can seal him inside yourself, becoming both prison and warden.

I really want to see this in the story in the future. Risky, but at the end of the day, narrative is what's most important and this by far is the most narratively interesting option.

Maybe, but shouldn't we try to see if the option that doesn't risk our mind for a lousy power up is possible at all before jumping into it with both feets?

That was beautifully done. It gave me shivers.

[X] Defeat him quickly and utterly, locking down his power. Make him unable to continue fighting.
-[X] See if the Sorcerers can Seal him or something.

-[X] Talk to him, try to make him see reason, try to convince him to surrender himself to us if we can't make him change his mind.
- -[X] if we can't reach him with words and he doesn't surrender himself make him go unconscious without harming him, and ask the sorcerers if they can force a masque on him to seal most if not all his power while mantaining his memories and personality. Then hand him to your father so he could be taken to prison for the crimes he committed.

Back in Apocalypse, Dazarel looked directly at thewards when the sorcerers raised them. If he can see them directly, he might either be a sorcerer or a seer. We know the first can screw sealing and the second might be able to mind project out if not done properly.

Also why are people doing all these sub votes? That completely misses the point of approval voting.

The thing about the safe, cautious, boring option is that it's boring. The primary purpose of this quest is to create as great of a story as possible. The most narratively interesting options should be what we take, despite the risks involved. In fact, said risks only serve to increase the stakes of the options we take, making for better story, so if anything the presence of risk should be weight in favour of an option.

[x]Hold down the dragon. Ask the sorcerers "Can you turn him into dragon balls"
[X]If sealing him inside you is a good idea do that.

Question, if we seal it inside ourselves, what happens once spirit saiyan runs out? I dont kakara to wind up a flesh puppet, eaten from the inside out, bound in place to keep the dragon from breaking out.

Lets not re enact the ending to diablo mmkay.

Sealed dragon is one disgruntled/ambitious/mad sorcerer away from unsealed dragon. I would vote for sorcerous sealing only if our sorcerers can pool their efforts to make some sort of seal that requires as much effort (i.e. all of Saiyan sorcerers) to undo.
