We should use Multiform for this fight. Multiform is not really good for combat, but he wants us to go full power so we need to do something to even things up a bit.

Honestly, with him asking us to go full power we're are left in the uncomfortable position of ending it quickly or picking on him.

We are going to want Bulma against the aliens. We need someone at a lower power level so that we are not all at a uniform power level.

"You have learned your defenses that well," she says. "What would you do if I threw something at you? You'd flinch. You've trained better instincts into your body. But you second-guess them when something is on the line, because you don't yet trust them." She leans forward. "Trust them."
Can we get her to teach us?:o

On the vote, I say Yes.

Let's kill him.:drevil:

If fighting full power is part of the Saiyan dating scene then Scions must have a hard time. I wonder how Barra went about it?

I don't really want to devalue Dad's word when he is trying out the royal we for first time.
Everyone in the stadium knows that the boy overreached. Maybe not officially, but he is definitely trying to grab for something he really shouldn't be. Culturally if nothing else.

We are completely within our Rights to refuse. Many would even say, IC I mean, that we should refuse.
It's just one fight. It only means as much as a dance. Besides we need more Saiyan friends.
Because "Let's just be friends" ever works.

This dance has explicit romantic implications. This isn't just one dance, this is one slow dance, holding each other close, and being the only people on the dance floor.

This isn't just a fight, it's part of the Saiyan courting ritual. Accepting the fight isn't just saying we accept the dance, it's saying we also accept his advances and gives him further leeway to pursue us.

That is not something I care for. I may just be speaking for myself here but no, I do not accept his advances, the dance, or currently him for putting us on the spot like this.

Point of order, it actually is just about accepting the dance. Yes, it has romantic overtones, but just as in reality, a dance, or indeed a fight, can just be a dance -- flirty and romantic, yes, but hardly anything deeper. Much as people (no longer) hand out engagement rings on the first date (usually), or commit to cohabitation that swiftly. If you say yes, you're not saying, "Yes, absolutely, and let's date while we're at it."

In short, you can scale back how much you're worrying about this. In terms of strictly romance, this is just a dance. A somewhat embarrassingly (for all involved parties) public one, but that's not terribly unusual in this culture.

I feel people are reacting as if he proposed to us while what I see is potentially a first date.

Whatever happens in this fight, there is nothing binding. It's not an ambitious power play by a guy trying to tie the knot with Kakara, it's a teenage boy who got over his head. I bet we could even have a good shounen fight and refuse any idea of future dates if we wish so without drawbacks.

^^^This guy gets it.

I think y'all should go for it. Even if it was a date (and it is not unless people marry first dance partner in their lives where you live o_O) it's still just, uh, an awkward teenage thing. Kakara is a Scion and a bit of a legend among sayians, she should get used to dealing with these things.

Should probably go GO and Multiform. The slow speed of GO should help to hide our lack of skill and he asked us to go full power. The Multiform so we can have extra eyes during the fight and don't miss anything.

See you can say this but it still carries with it strong creepy vibes from real world issues.
