Fenella is a Peat, actually. Gokun through and through.I like Allies, Not Rivals, but I'd like to offer a few alternatives as well. (Not least cause I don't want to put Dandeer on higher alert, or just freak her out--but also because Mato might like other things better.)
[X] Write In: Allies with Options
-[X] Tell him that we don't know much, but that we'll tell him what we've discovered so far.
-[X] Warn him that we're going to have to keep this a secret: if certain people found out, there could be trouble--Dandeer in particular is upset about people learning it and could make life tough for him.
-[X] Explain that we haven't made much progress ourselves on this, and invite him to help us figure out more of Jaffur's style. It will pretty much be his project, though we'll help out when we can. It might take a long time to see some progress, though.
-[X] If he's interested in cool styles and techniques that would impress Dad, there are a few other directions he could take. Dad's gotten interested in Yamcha Style recently, which we think is pretty underrated, but don't have plans to study ourselves.
-[X] We also recently sparred a friend of ours in Clan Vegeta who uses Trunks Style, which was really cool--and even uses a sword! Not too common in Clan Goku, so it'd really stand out. And it's very different from Kakara's fighting style, so we'd get a whole yin-yang thing going. We could introduce him to our friend, if he'd like to see it for himself.
In fact, I've recently decided to change that up. I was going to wait for the update, but so long as you're mentioning it:I have just read this quest. I am really glad you voted for Kakara Goku. I am very interested in learning a bunch of non combat uses for KI.
@PoptartProdigy : does Learning the body duplicate technique have penalties from pasifism? To me that seems like a non combat technique. Very useful out of combat not very useful in combat. However it under path of the warrior with stays it gets plenalties.
In fact someone with a combative mind set would get less use out of it since it makes duplicates of the person so they have to get along with themselves.
Someone should have brought that up a long time ago.In fact, I've recently decided to change that up. I was going to wait for the update, but so long as you're mentioning it:
Multiform is now a Ki Talent, and shall be reclassified as such on the character sheet, to reflect the fact that it is not, strictly speaking, a combat technique.
And welcome aboard, fictionfan!
A Kakareaucracy, hm? :lolSomeone should have brought that up a long time ago.
I am imagining her being able to create enough clones to be able to manage all the issues of clan Goku at the same time.
Kakara has both the talent and motivation to take the technique farther then anyone before her.
I did bring that up. We should be able to explore the various Super Saiyin Grades and Full Power Super Saiyin through a clone, as well as the Great ape variations but we'll be unable to break into SSJ2 without being a single body.Actually, she has to divide her Ki between Clones right? Could she use it in giant golden monkey form? She has never been able to push the limits of that form because it is too powerful, but if she divides up....
I did bring that up. We should be able to explore the various Super Saiyin Grades and Full Power Super Saiyin through a clone, as well as the Great ape variations but we'll be unable to break into SSJ2 without being a single body.
Also, the normal saiyin body and the Great Ape body count separately, so it's possible to have two clones at full power provided one is a human and the other an ape.
Finally, the super saiyin power-up gives a static boost which is divided among the clones. So the more clones we have the weaker the super saiyin boost regardless of the individual power levels of the clones. Kaioken on the other hand is a true multiplier and is unaffected by this.
This is pure speculation, but it seems similar to the kamehameha rather than a simple power-up technique. Do you remember when Goku and Piccolo could increase their effective PL by focusing their ki in the Raditz fight? I suspect this is similar to that, except it focuses all the ki he uses rather than just the attack. And we have honestly no CLUE how Jaffur's freaky ki technique would work with it.

This would explain how Jaffur figured this out, as despite being a genius he's 9 years old and it makes more sense he advanced and adapted something rather than created something from scratch.
Possible drawbacks could be the need for constant concentration when using the tech. While this probably won't boost his focused attacks, it would boost his basic ki abilities like defenses, punches, kicks, and basic ki blasts. It would also allow a faster charge up for focused techniques like Kamehameha and Special Beam Cannon.
Could the same not be said for Instant Transmission? In fact, I've recently decided to change that up. I was going to wait for the update, but so long as you're mentioning it:

That is also under consideration.
Kamehameha broadcasts itself too much as an attack and thus is useful only rarely. Either your foe is so powerful that it is effective but unreliable because of their speed or they are weak enough that there is no point in using it. But as a demolition and land clearing tool, the kamehameha is a godsend and is essential for any modern construction worker. Clearly it shouldn't be a combat technique either.*Tries to come up with a joke about Kamehameha as a construction tool and therefore not really a combat technique, fails*
Ah well.

Are you saying it's not a valid firefighter skill?
