[X] Kakara Goku, the Scion of Goku.

Been a while since a female Saiyan existed or was playable. Plus given the situation with the other house, it is likely that we would have to do a few reforms or else warmongering Saiyans will return. Which might be even worse than whoever this villain is. Especially if they are willing to go on a harsher version of Game of Thrones of all things.

I wonder if it is possible to create artificial Saiyans from the human population? Might need to do some research.

Mainly through Gene Therapy and other scientific research like that. It has been a few centuries and technology must have advanced in several areas. Especially if people can travel to other planets and learn from advance alien technology. Also since humans can breed with Saiyans, it should be possible to give humans some Saiyan traits due to how biologically close they are.

There is also magic that enables bullshit stuff to happen, but that is usually much more limited in the DB verse. Plus since you say that there is few Sorcerers, I don't expect them to be able to turn a human into a Saiyan.

Not that there won't be any benefits at all to experimenting with science and magic, but in general you can expect Saiyan hybrids to be Saiyan enough.

I'm voting for Jaffur purely because I want to see his father beaten down and destroyed. Preferably by Jaffur.
 
I chose Kakara because Dragon Ball is enough of a sausage fest as it is.

Plus I would really like to be able to break a few stereotypes where woman in the verse mostly stay in the background.

I won't deny that was a motivation in making her one of the options. Kakara will be a character regardless of who the PC is, and a significant one, but I do like the prospect of that subversion. :D
 
[X] Prince Jaffur Vegeta, the Scion of Vegeta

Because Vegeta always got shat on in the original series.

  1. I like the politics aspect
  2. Merge the Senju and Uchiha Goku and Vegeta lines / break the divisions, and it's much easier to do that if we start from the Vegeta side given that they view us as royalty
  3. No reason why Kakara can't become our action wife (for those who want to avoid DB s attitude towards woman). She clearly has the Gohan BS trigger.

I'm down for a waifu who will rage and slaughter our enemies once we heroically die.

@PoptartProdigy , was it deliberate that Jaffur has a Gohan/Goku face (implications about ancestry)?

Additionally, I would point out my suspicion that reforming Saiyan society will be much smoother if Kakara is our waifu, then the reverse.

Controlling Kakara doesn't do much when she's looked down upon as a pacifist and we also lack the inborn society structured around us. Even if we marry Jaffur, we're still an extreme outlier in our point of view. While as Jaffur, we can actually manage a transition and lay concrete changes down in a logical/intelligent way. We'll still get influenced by Kakkara, and we can control how much we listen to her.

To be clear, I would waifu the other character no matter what; It makes too much sense for a power-couple dynamic when we are explicitly the underdogs against whatever the Great Enemy is.

Coincidence. Every Saiyan draws descent from Goku and Vegeta at this point, they just descend from one or the other more. And it's a really good picture.

No comment on which protag will be easier/better for reformation.

Always liked Vegeta more, so I want a change of pace.
Also, DB needs a godlike tier woman, like Frieza and 18.
 
This is actually a tough choice, because there are some good arguments for both picks! Argh, this is the frustrating thing about character creation and the like. :p
