[x] Combat Precognition. While she's unpracticed in it, its very nature means that it is literally a matter of life or death, whenever it would come up.

This, but we're only going to yell "Dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooodddddddddddddddddddddddddddddgggggggggggggggggggggggggeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" out of respect for his culture.

Bassoon: "Your accent is atrocious."

Not beyond general uncertainty about how her new situation interacts with her more esoteric abilities.
And by "her new situation" you mean "being a bodiless shade," yes?

In Dragonball AE Abridged, this is of course exactly what happens.

Now I want to think of other funny things that happen in Dragonball AE Abridged.

Yeah, I trust Bassoon to have picked one of the higher-success-rate plans available in the first place, as he's apparently done this run before. At that point the marginal gain by us finding a better overall route forward is probably way lower than the improvement we can offer by well-timed warnings.

Tempted to pass power, because that would trivialize it if it works and I don't think itll actually cause any problems, but I'd also like to train combat precog and I don't think it'll be neccesary for him to have the extra power.

[X] No Sight. In fact. Kakara has a better idea, one leveraging her more mundane skills.
-[X] Offer to take over 'piloting' until Bassoon gets to his ship -- Kakara is very good at ki control, and might be able to get past the blockade with them none the wiser.
-[X] Give Bassoon control and swap to combat precog if it comes to a fight; Kakara's obviously not versed in using his body.

Yeah gonna hop on the combat precog bandwagon.

Honestly, while bassoon is pretty chill, I'm not sure he'd be willing to do that at the drop of a hat. Also I really want to try out precog.
Aye, I'm not being super serious or anything. But I figure he'd be willing to give us a shot, given the trust we just showed him. That's the thing about trust; it's inherently reciprocal.

Except that he has no reason to believe we are better than him at this since he has done did before and he hasn't seen our skill at flying and this means we don't trust his skill at flying.

That and neither Ginyou or Goku performed well after switching bodies. Granted, one was injured and the other mistook kaioken for their opponent's real power level but still.

Fair point. I'd like to practice that with him on the way back, if possible. Combined operations with Bassoon seems like it could be quite effective. Let him focus on sorcery, while Kakara provides ki.

Variety over specialization. Short over long term. Combat over utility.
But really, it's a life saver and another advantage. Worth it's weight in silver, if not gold.

But now I wonder- can short-range Sight like that be used for non-combat situations?
Like having an intuitive warning right before mortally offending someone, or accidentaly revealing a secret you shouldn't have (not by choice, but blurting out accidentaly)?

I know it's a different sort of ability, but I think it's fundamentally similar to CP (subconscious short-range Sight).
Maybe a high enough CP would allow to use it in less threathening situations?
Just wondering.
It seems like it should be possible, but at your least current proficiency, at least, it seems to trigger only for mortal peril.
And by "her new situation" you mean "being a bodiless shade," yes?
Yes.

I think that potential advantage might be offset by the eerie white eye effect, plus the fact that we'd be in constant danger of weirding people out by doing a JoJo-style "your next line is-" moment.
