How about this, we take the lab essentials and the experiment and GTFO. It saves us time we need to escape and doesn't weigh us down too much while we escaping.
And by essentials I mean things we can't immediately give Jumba. Like various pieces of alien sciencey tech that we don't have the means to produce yet.

Uhhh and get a loyalty malus from our heroically minded subordinates? Is this a write in or something because, hoo boy. We're Evil, not terrorists.

Cant we just rig something harmless that will look like explosives with terrorist manifesto and have it crash near the DC ? Aliens will assume terror attack when its basically gift to Feds in that they can get look at the pod and perhaps get something out of it.

Alternatively could we rip the sublight drive and have Khan carry it ?

Fairly small in the grand scheme of things, maybe slightly larger than a small house. It wouldn't be terribly hard to hide it.
Thank you.

So besides Electronic Bugs, which I'm going to trust Jumba to handle because the man isn't STUPID, there really isn't an issue I'm seeing here. Espessially since, if we take the ship, the Galfed have no idea where on the entire PLANET Jumba could have gone.

If the escape pod blows up they are going to assume it was a distraction, instead of wasting time chasing it down.

The escape pod action specifically mentions sending it to space, so I think sending it somewhere on earth wouldn't work. It seems like it can't be piloted once launched and would go in a straight line, so I'm not even sure how you would do that.

Next Hawaii mission invent and bring the mosquito baits and toss at the aliens and use that as a distraction.

Actually sending it to somewhere on earth should be easier than to space. Also it should have some self driving capability (however small), because otherwise the ship would just be able to pick it back up meaning it's not a feasible escape route at all, even as a deception.

I'm wondering something else, if we take the ship... does that mean we get alien prisoners? Can we recruit them? Alien mooks?

Is this the prelude to us getting... INTERPLANETARY?

Also consider that Russ is the leader on this mission, and he's not going to do anything that'll shatter the Masquerade like sending an alien escape pod to Washington DC.

I just want to say this, so far no one knows Jumba has met with anyone, if he leaves the. The GalFed won't know where involved

I think I have an argument in favor of taking the ship. If we take it, sure, risk of detection, yeah. But they'll know Jumba has escaped eventually, but they won't know right away that it's us, as we'd be taking any security cameras on the ship with us. So they'll probably just assume Jumba flew off on his own. That'll give us some time to research the spaceship. While I don't expect to be able to instantly replicate the innards, I do think that with Doof's personal attention, that we could try making a fake/duplicate of the ship and using said ship to fake Jumba's death.

They'll be looking for Jumba regardless of if we sneak out or take the ship. But if we take the ship, they'll assume that Jumba will stick to said ship. We can use that assumption to eventually get Gal-Fed off our tail entirely by either blowing up the ship itself-after everything important has been taken out of course- or blowing up a replica of said ship. We do have those Robot Duplicates lying around after all, and as long as the explosion is big enough, we shouldn't have to worry about Gal-Fed finding anything. Just get RD!Jumba in the Fake!Ship, have some bullshit transmission sent to Gal-Fed about an experiment of his getting loose to the point he can't contain it, so he's coming back because he'd rather live than die. Then, after a comment about the experiment going to the engine room, blow up the ship mid-transmission.

Boom. Fake death and Gal-Fed no longer looking for Jumba. If they do find anything in the wreckage, as us stealing Robot Duplicates from Syndrome isn't public knowledge, then at best they'll be looking at what remains of Syndrome's empire instead of us.

Finally caught up with this quest...took some time

Anyway, here is my vote:

[x] Try to steal the whole lab (While it would be harder, and you'd have to deal with the guards and aliens still on the ship, never leaving it might make the aliens think Jumba escaped of his own volition. It would be hard to miss the escape, but just imagine the benefits you could get from a space-worthy ship with a functioning sublight drive!)
-[x] AND cause a distraction with an escape pod

[x] Give Jumba time to get his creation

Furthermore, we have agent W of OWCA on standby. He has a watch to contact/be contacted by Monogram, and an agent hat fully stocked with tools.

[X] Cause a distraction (Jumba mentioned that you can launch an escape pod to 'Swan Space' and distract the GalFed while you run out. If everything goes off perfectly, nobody will even suspect Jumba is on earth anymore, making it easier to sneak out. IF.)

Still think we shouldn't take the ship here...

Also consider that Russ is the leader on this mission, and he's not going to do anything that'll shatter the Masquerade like sending an alien escape pod to Washington DC.

Notice what I've marked with red here... stealing the entire ship is something that has a good chance of blowing the Masquerade wide open, which means that it is likely that Russ will betray us and warn the government of our action here (which will anger the American government and, by extension, Xanatos), which will result in us being attacked by the government\Xanatos, which will result in us pretty much being defeated.
I'll say it again... let us not get too greedy here, as we could very well cause our own downfall here if we aren't careful.

Look it's eating away at my soul to leave behind the spaceship or anything really. In any RPG I am THE loot goblin. If it's not nailed down I will take it and if it is I will use a crowbar to take the furniture AND the nails.

When I play Skyrim I loot every corpse of everything and stored in containers so I can get through the dungeon and get the loot. I loot EVERY SINGLE corpse I can get my grubby little mitts on during the civil war battles.

So when I say it pains me to leave loot behind, I mean it pains me on a spiritual level.

So if anyone, and I mean ANYONE can come with up with an idea to get the ship and keep the Galactic federation off of us I will take it in a heartbeat.
Otherwise I'll vote that we'll leave it behind.

.......Hide the small building sized ship in any part of the two and a half states we own and just make sure its not bugged? Its litterally that easy. Like outside major cities theirs fuck tons of places we could hide the ship in the middle of fucking nowhere Wyoming, Colorado, or Utah.
