As much as i'd like to say the OS, I worry that Olympia has worked out tron tech already and is looking at this as a foothold on the digital world. Idk if I want to share our digital home terf with Evelyn.
So, thing to take away from this Rival Report.
Xanatos, Shego and the government keep doing really well collaborating in matters of space. If we collaborate with them on that we could either offer our climate controlled environments or Research Sublight drives.
The person that contacted Lovemuffin in prison leaked to the public the things they were working on. The only annoying things are the normbots specs and DoofOs files (Genghis Khan resurrection was more of a 1 time thing more along the lines of an inator, if someone gets something out of that more power to them).
For the normbots we probably should take the Upgrade Normbots action so the specs are out of date, maybe not next turn but soonish.
The SRA repeal is continuing to move along, for the moment we are not really in a position to really benefit from it (since we don't have anything really super related going on) but also it won't really harm us since I think we are seen in a good light to the super community.
Shere Khan is getting over last turn whoopsies, good for him.
And now for the most important thing... having an episode of Restaurant Wars on Bueno Na- I mean the collab with Olympia:
-Since with a collab we want things that normally would be to hard for us this leaves out Improve Recycling Programs and Sponsor a Cape.
-Study Diecast Robotics is a good neutral option, its a reasonable action and Olympia wouldn't get anything really big out of it.
-Lobby to legalize bot fights suffers from the fact that we don't have any hero specialized on lobbying also the rewards are less sure than the rest.
-Develop a new social media platform would be neat but its not that big of a priority
-Collaborate on a new Os would allow us to negate any danger brought by the leak of DoofOs files and its for the moment our only reasonable bet to make the new Os, the danger being if either they put ScreenSlaver tech in it (this I doubt since that would be a big risk on their part) or that we would have to share digital territory with them once we can physically enter it.
Of those for the moment I think I will go with making a new Os, it would free the other Stewardship action (since before it was DoofOs or lasers + Collab), its our best chance to get into a more stable position with the Os and better to have Olympia in a place we can keep a better eye on them.
The only thing is that if we make the new Os we should also 100% do the codes to not fall behind if Olympia also has them or get a better foothold if they don't. If Alan is making the new Os that would leave getting the codes from the pirates or stealing them from ENCOM we probably will need to wait until we see the DC and descriptions of the actions to see what is or isn't a good idea

Well, we haven´t really *actively and openly* collabbed with either of them (or *anyone*, for the matter) on account of being just a little bit occupied with everything else. So it stands to reason that Shego and Xanatos would move on to each other to get things done.
Hm, so the reformation of the SRA into something actually helpful seems to be moving just fine woithout us butting in just fine...I like that, since we might not be able to do much ourselves right now. Also great that both Democrats and Republicans seem to agree on an issue for once.
That being said, once that act passes we could offer up Hego as our example of "a good Super" to get back in that game.
...Say, @Made in Heaven , do Collabs offered to us by someone else count towards our action limit or is it essentially a free action on account of being initiated not by us?
Aside from that detail, so let me see what we got here:
- We can do Recycling programs just fine on our own with a DC that low, so I´d rather not "waste" a Collab on it (if it takes up one of our actions right now, of course - but even then, Collabs are a bit too finicky for something that trivial).
-Us getting help regarding the Die-Cast Robots with their pretty-high DC would be a godsend, especially since those little fellas have possible synergy with the Greevil angle that we seem to be be intent on pushing as an easy remedy for dealing with the fallout of LMs bullshit. So yeah, that´s an option I wouldn´t mind picking.
-Naaah, I´d rather not get into a new kind of "battle", especially one with a DC that high.
- Now that´s a hard one. While we were thinking about creating a new OS from scratch (with backwards compatibility with DoofOS, if possible) to get back on our feet against the MCP and/or King Candy and could really use the support to deal with that high DC, people have raised valid concerns about Olympia sneaking Screenslaver tech past us that way. So I am really torn here.
- Meeh, I dunno why we should be interestend in investing into that field right now, so that offer gets a *naaah* from me until further notice.
- Hm, sponsoring HEGO like that could kill two birds with one stone in that it A) would ride on the support of the biggest voice for repealing the SRA an B) would help an "archetypical Cape" get back on his feet. But on the other hand it might be a low enough DC for us to reliably do it on our own...So, it´s a "maybe" from me.
In the end, my willingness for choosing any given option looks kinda like that:

So SK managed to salvage some of his more apparent problems while only slightly messing up some "off-the-counter stuff"? Since he is one of the Kings we got the least interactions with - both hostile and benign - and because he is also comparetively non-malicious, I´lljust shrug, say "Good for him" and move onwards.
While Shego and David leaving us behind is a bit of a bummer, as I said before that it was to be expected and isn´t that bad in the end. Also, as good as that base is for them, they´ll have to invest a lot of time, ressources and logistics brawn to develope it. Now, if only someone had some way - even if only *conceptionally* right now - to help them out by massively cutting down on all the baggage involved, like say, *giving them a way to really revolutionize their long-distance supply chains*...
Don´t worry, guys: That´s not as bad as it looks at first glance.
Yes, the schematics of our Normbots getting leaked is annoying, but as someone said, we can just claim that they´re *outdated* versions and our current models are far more advanced than shown on those plans. As for the other two things: Nobody really believes our Khan to be the genuine article - instead, everyone thinks him to be cape with a Khan-shtick and since we are already known to dabble in genetics, we can just ride on that explanation for minimal fuss. And DoofOS is kinda dead in the water as well as utterly incomprehensible for anyone, so the code being leaked is nothing to us.
So yeah, the only thing actually concerning about it is the fact that we don´t know the culprit and therefore can´t slam them for corporate espionage or similar (to say nothing of more clandestine retaliations). But at least it´s probably none of our "friends/allies", since that would needlessly sabotage our good relationships with each other.
So, Shego is collabing with ENCOM now as well? That kinda stinks, since that pushes her into the splash zone of any DEI - ENCOM "warfare" and I´d rather not get our "friends/allies" getting weakened needlessly by them getting caught up in any donnybrooks we have with other Kings.

On the other hand, Hego is already in the red a bit opinion-wise and in a precarious position about his lot in life in general thanks to Shego running her mouth and sending him into a personal crisis previously and I don´t know just how bad "moderate opinion loss" will turn out to be.

This is the Greatest way to do it, and I think Alan would catch any funny stuff by Evelyn like putting in a Screen Slaver App. And even if he didn't catch it and she did put it in? That's a storyline I'd actually be pretty interested in and I think we can probably address proactively with the Digitizer.
Normally my thought would be to Fix DoofOS at all costs, but the source code is out, and Alan knows about the issues with the programs as Refugees. I think he'll transfer them over to the new OS and make sure it's safe for them.

I kinda want to so this. I'm aware of the dangers, but Alan keeps failing, and people won't drop the OS action. With LOVEMUFFIN leaking our code, it seems that this is the moment to do this.
I would say it is better to get Diecast robotics, which Olympia is almost guaranteed to have a specialized hero around. With the OS we can wait for the Council and the SHIVA laser.
Oh, and depending on the action economy and DCs taking the OS option might mean putting off getting the code for the laser.

Personally I say go for Diecast robotics with Wendy. I don't trust Evelyn to not backstab us with ScreenSlaver tech on OS or Media site, and Grevil Recycling is for P&F, no question.
Xanatos doesn't backstab unless the payout is really worth never working with someone again. With someone like us the payout has to be REALLY big, like True Immortality is within reach big.
