Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

So, just had a thought.
The digital-Sphere-base, did Joe's clones just beat Leet to his dream accomplishment without even realizing it?
Or get so close on a similar track that it would appear that way to everyone but a few experts, because that, combined with what March was already doing to him, could give Leet a second trigger.

It seems to me that Leet's efforts to create a personal version of the Matrix will stumble over the fucking evil machine spirits of the Laboratory. Who really dislike Abominable intelligence. And if, by the time of the collision, Joe gets the Magos perks, then he will only have to giggle angrily into the red robe freshly made by Garment. By the way, I think that the theme of the designer hoods of cultists-alchemists and the line of elite Martian robes Adeptus Mechanicus from Garment should be revealed.

Honestly, I wouldn't really like it if Joe actually went in this direction. It's funny watching him baffle people with his actions, but pure smug is a Tattletale/March thing that makes me want to punt them both to the sun.

Oh yeah, I don't actually disagree.

I feel like, if anyone knew that Joe thought he was a demigod, and he knew that they knew, his real reaction would be closer to exasperation and embarrassment.

"Hey, I didn't ask for this any more than you did - yes, I am self-aware about how crazy I sound - look, can we talk about something else now?"

This is the kind of story where smug Tattletale is fun though, because she thinks she has a handle on the situation, and then the out of context problem does something extra-contextual and she's left going "bwuh?" like a goldfish.

You are right, that is exactly what Joe would do. Apeiron on the other hand? Hohohoho, he would totally be smug...and would possibly be fiat-perk-forced smug too, and all without him realizing it until he watches it on PHO.

Hi guys remember how tetra can do puppet master shit right?
Joe could make a human body for tetra now and have her pilot her own meat suit
Oh boy, if Joe thinks Kephririon is bad, just think of what's going to happen when Tetra starts running around with him in a divinely made body.

Edit: Speaking of how he could hide his divine craft, any ideas? I think SSS could do something like a non-sentient version of the Prey ooze to act as smart furniture while camoflaging as mundane furniture, so he can be comfortable without looking like a good target for thiefs. He could maybe make a normal looking body for Tetra the same way, hiding my super expensive property in plain sight.

Between Matrix, Tetra, Survey, Aisha, Taylor, and Trauma, people are going to think Apeiron is trying to be a harem isekai protagonist, like that Diablos guy from How Not To Summon a Demon Lord.

Pretty sure that Tetra is going to be draped all over him when they go out.

As a Kamui. A divine-crafted, Garment assisted, Fashion boosted Kamui, fed on a nigh-limitless supply of constantly-regenerating demi-divine blood.

In other words, a fully-functional Endbringer costume.

Is there WOG for why he won't get five Kamui when Tetra finally takes that form? Or has there not been WOG on this subject yet? (I find that hard to believe since it seems an obvious question.)

Aisha took a slightly more confident stance in response. Chen's eyes dipped down to the gyro stabilizers and integrated thrusters built into the feet of the armor and his eyebrow twitched slightly.
I did some rereading and found this gem of a paragraph in the previous chapter. Apparently, Chen finds the idea of a power suit having heels several inches high ridiculous. Gee, I wonder why.

I looked into the whole thing about the Necromundan tech and let me tell you there is some ridiculous stuff in there

here are a few examples of archeotech:
  • micro-atomic munitions
  • searing directed energy kill-rays that drew power from the planet's magnetosphere.
  • Viewer: A portable hand-held device which allows the operator to view different locations. The perspective seen on the screen can be moved to view the scene from any point, even if it lies behind closed doors or solid walls.[2]
  • Cutting Beam: A bulky device which focuses a high-powered beam capable of cutting through the densest of building materials. It is effectively useless as a weapon, due to its weight and the concentration required to achieve any results.[2]
  • Lifter: A device which can manipulate gravity in a localised area, allowing the operator to slowly float up to the highest reaches or gently drop down from a great height.[2]
  • Holo Projector: This device projects a startlingly realistic holographic image of the operator a short distance away to draw fire from enemies.[2]
  • Shadowsource Drive: This ancient device has the power to blot out the sun.[3]
  • Icarus Skyrule Engine: An advanced variant of the Icarus-pattern Lascannon weaponry.[3]
  • Teleportation Hub: Multiple Teleportation Pads.[3]
  • Hyper-deceleration Field: A technological marvel, this priceless archeotech device slows the velocity of incoming fire to a fraction of its former rate, rendering those within its protective field all but impervious to ranged attack
  • Teleportation Technology[13]
  • Anti-Grav Technology
  • Stasis Weaponry
  • Disintegration Weapons
  • Kinetic Destroyers: ammo less guns that inflict kinetic damage
  • cloaking technology
  • The Quill Blaster is a type of Human Archaeotech weapon.[1]Unlike most other solid projectile weapons, this device fires thin needles of liquefied metal. It can operate with almost any raw material; the user simply feeds metallic chunks or pellets into a large hopper at the rear of the gun. Its internal batteries melt them into ammunition which is then discharged. When fired the weapons accelerates a thin beam along the barrel, firing short lances of super-hot, super-sharp metal in bursts of 4-6 spines.

This tech seems to be the most broken if the production of these quills counts as an act of crafting and if it allows Jo to combine some of his more bizarre metamaterials into something that makes even chlorine trifluoride look like chocolate cake.

they also have nanite blasters, so i guess now Matrix is also a gun, and can be fired at a distance

The Nanyte Blaster is a bullet-shaped weapon of gleaming metal that hosts a hive containing many millions of nanoscopic machines. Upon release, they are capable of stripping any target of its constituent atoms in an instant.

The ancient Mechanicum understood the principles on which the nanytes operated, but not how they replicated within the hive, for all who attempted to study the process were attacked themselves, the machines seemingly unwilling to surrender the secrets of their creation.

When an entity is slain by this weapon, the nanytes replicate uncontrollably to the point of being able to spread to a nearby target with the same effectiveness of the blaster weapon itself; there is no way of knowing how far the chain reaction of ravenous replication can spread from one casualty to the next.

Imagine being able to use the nanites at a long range, may be able to try and cure Noelle without touching her

Obviously he's going to craft Tetra into a really small Kamui and then let Workaholic size her back up again.
And/or put her through the Armor-Shift Manufacture machine once he's done, so that she always fits perfectly?

Armor-Shift Manufacture (Bloody Roar) 100
A small machine - big enough to hold a massive pauldron or two - that gives any pieces of armor or clothing placed inside a specific quality: When their wearer changes form, the armor and clothing changes form with him / her.
Chapter 41: Drag Out | Preamble Chen

Huh. The perk only specified that the clothing would change with his forms. It never specified which forms the clothing would fit. That means, that even if he gets a Transformer form and get a van form, Tetra could still fit him.

It's worth remembering that while processing Tetra into a Kamui won't kill her like if she was made into a Goku Uniform, it still involves some form of damage on her so Joe probably wouldn't go for that. On the other hand, there's no actual reason to turn her into a Kamui - in the first place, the only reason why Life Fibers are turned into uniforms is because it is to control their growth. But to Joe, who has no problems with trusting Tetra with her powers and working with her as she is, turning Tetra into a Kamui is largely unnecessary.
