Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

"Rule 63 is an Internet meme that states that, as a rule, "for every given female character, there is a male version of that character" and vice versa."
-Wikipedia.

I am sorry lord for I have sinned.

I made rule 63 Aperion.

I mean, this wouldn't be the first tinker fic where they self genderbended for 'accidental' 'reasons'.

Always wished that fic finished, they were so close to climax (no pun intended) too.

The scene I'm referring to here: Link (Might need a bit of the last chapter for context... and the rest of the story probably for the context of the context of Mayhem)
The first page of the Fic

H+ Mayhem (Worm)

In which Cricket gets a laser scythe, Sveta gets motorized, and Burnscar gets a beard. It's...

From a Doylist point of view, March being not quite dead guarantees that she's still in the narrative. If March wasn't going to show up again, the author would have completely killed her.
This wasn't a case of "the Joker gets sent to the asylum only to break out again for the next episode", it was March's Karmic Death. She got everything that she wanted, and it destroyed her.

Can't wait to see Tommy get his teeth smashed in we all know when that guy messes up he messes up hard.

You know I really hate the guy he's megalomaniac with the ability to do whatever he wants with no consequences. He's a pain in the ass to nail down without meta knowledge or figuring out his powers, which are pretty subtle and esoteric enough to make guessing inpossible. The dude could be so much more but he's just a petty sadistic bastard who deserves to be put in the seventh level of hell.

Though I know it would be poor writing just to making a small slip lead to his demise, or leading an unlikely string of poor planning would make it pretty damn obvious I'm just trying to kill him as fast as possible.

It's why I hate him he guaranteed to always do something awful or learn things he shouldn't for no other reason besides he could and get away with it, it's obvious in everything he does he's arrogant bastard who thinks nothing bad can happen to him that he can get away with whatever he wants. If you want to deal with him you just can't without stretching things out, he like a parasite in a story.

I wonder what the Pho forms look like they must be going nuts with Anime Apeiron Apeime if you will or maybe Ubert and Leet should recognize the Gundam when they see it what do they think omg I can't wait this story is amazing

Thanks for update!

I, for one, wonder, why people expecting Joe to help Travelers. He can, probably, help them. But would he? I'm not so sure. They're villains, and not just labeled so by the PRT. They're actual villains, and mostly fine with it... Well, that was an exaggeration, to say "fine", but not much.

I think it's partly because Noelle really doesn't deserve what's happening to her, and what she'll become if no one interferes, similarly to Amy becoming the Red Queen. Also, simply leaving the problem alone until it boils over will undoubtedly cause many deaths, while Joe has kinda been a bleeding heart so far with the Undersides, though that's partly due to his power's communication about Taylor. Gotta wait and see what it says about the Travelers.

If regular Joe looked liked the stereotypical white guy and then got upgraded to beyond supermodel level of attractiveness then...

...would his genderbend start off looking like a stereotypical Barbie that gets upgraded to a blonde blue-eyed Bella Hadid?

(Who is apparently the most beautiful person in the world according to the golden ratio of beauty.)

Not quite.

As far as i remember Joe's dark haired and not blue-eyed(Brown? Hazel? Gray? Can't remember), so there's no reason for his genderbend counterpart to be blond or blue-eyed.

Also, this question give me funny thought.
There was no perks that change how Joe looks(With exceptions of demigodness which change his build, not make him perfectly atractiv). Yes, he got buffed, but this training with Tetra not perk. So with exception of slightly different build, muscle mass and lack of any scars (nanites are bullshit) Joe still looks like "stereotypical white guy".

His new attractiveness(presumed, can't actually remember anyone calling him attractive) comes not from perfect golden ratio face, but from skills of presenting himself. Which do comes from perks. Fashion sense and posing are bullshit.

Tl;dr What the difference between some Joe and our Joe?
PRESENTATION!
And a lot of muscles.

That is pretty much only because Joe is the Demigod child of Hephaestus in particular. Almost all of the other Gods, and their Demigod children, are seen as quite attractive by conventional standards at the very least. (Hecate might be another one not so attractive.) I looked thru all the perks Jozef has, or at least all I could find on the doc I was using to research, and you are right.. so far, no perks that improve Jozef's appearance. There are a couple yet to come that will though.. the Minor Blessing of Aphrodite does so directly, of course, and the free perk Divine Physique that comes with Chosen of Death gives him a whole new body described as "strong, vital, and beauteous". Titan's Blood will give him "aesthetic appearance changes similar to" Prometheus, who's bound to be prettier than Hephaestus, so that might help some if he hasn't got either of the others by then. Spiral Energy can do anything, of course, but now we are treading on areas where Jozef is using his powers deliberately to change his appearance, which seems doubtful.

Honestly though, a lot of what's attractive in a dude is just being healthy and athletic so all the bonuses to his health and athleticism are going a long way towards making him easier on the eyes as well, though that's not going to be to a superhuman degree.

Theres also the whole universal upgradeing he is getting from working with life fibers. That one underclassman that stole a one star uniform got his appearance upgraded a bit.

Hephaestus is supposedly horribly disfigured because of his fall from mount Olympics so his demigod children should also not look good maybe a bit better than normal but not to the standard of most demigods I think the change in his appearance was manly his build it turned him from a runners build to one better suited to forging

Not really? That's why he's crippled, not why he's disfigured. Hera saw when he was born that he lacked the beauty of the gods so tossed him off the mountain. It's only the stories from cities that gave her more favor that claim he was actually disfigured rather than possessing merely mortal beauty, though it did become more prevalent as time went on.

Thanks for the correction

I fully expect her to return as a half-Glastig Uiane level influenced shard person. Which I hate because she is just such a crappy character. Not as a knock on the OP's great writing, but I just always saw March as worse than Contessa in the level of bullshit she can apparently pull off that counts as 'timing'. At least for Contessa, her stated power is literally 'I wIn'.

Lord has made a notice about how he handled March, if you have not seen it its no page 490. I hope this helps

Sorry about the wrong page.

Also If you want to see more words of God, Lord tends to answer more questions on ao3 in the comments.

There's also an archive of all the WOG's on the discord if you're interested.
