Totally agreement, the timeliness is so short in the story that it's honestly kind of funny. Context matters a lot.
Im not sure why this just occured to me but Theo's power is actually a damn good counter to some of Apieruns stuff. Aure its unlikeky he will fight or beat Apierun but he can deform or reshape most of the stuff Apierun builds.
Kinda hope Theo and Aisha become friends (not ship but platonic.)
Wondee if Joe will hire the undersidees to steal lungs arm after the ABB is dealt with. Dragonbone steel made from lung might be an item that gets stronger while used in conflict unless I am mistaking.

Wasn't Lung completely annihilated and the only body part that are possible tiny chunks of Lung that may be stuck in outer space or fell in the BB river?

I believe Theo's power requires having a similar material in order for his power to work, it seems mildly specific since his costume is mentioned to use iron, steel, and aluminum distinctly. At this point, most, if not all of Joe's stuff are made from exotic materials or have compositions that Theo will not have access to for the most part. Also, some of Joe's perks may counter Theo's power as some state that his equipment will always work and other fiat-protection like that.

iirc he only needs to get his hands on something of the same material - but Joe's materials are pretty unique, so he'd need to get his hands on some of Joe's tech in order to manipulate it, yeah.
I really am looking forward to reactions of apierun climbing/swimming/running up lungs flames. Then the terrifying calculations of that strike that set lung up for the ftl strike. But the mnosky particles will be hilarious. Tge only thing worse than facing his tech is managing to damage his tech.
The horror continues for the poor heroes, and I can only imagine how they'll react to Apeiron's final actions in this fight. I'm certainly tired of the ABB, and hope that Apeiron destroys them soon.

Regrettably I'm going to have to push the chapter back a week once again. I'm sorry for the delay, but my work schedule hasn't allowed much free time. I had hoped to get enough writing done tonight to catch up and have the chapter on track for its usual posting time, but it's clear that won't be possible, and tomorrow's looking to be worse, not better. Oh wow I realised that Apeiron is technically 4 cape's the Nanites (gestalt intelligence - has no name yet), Garment (spirit of fashion), Tetra (life fibers), Joe (the traumatised man).

I really hope we see what happens with Chen this time. I've been waiting for that good old Chinese ass kicking. When they see him using low level anime physics from the 1 star uniform and the just awakened aura I wonder if they will think that Apeiron copied him rather than the other way around. (Like that Chen had been hiding that he was a Cape and Apeiron found him and copied his powers... or something)

You're doing good LORD. Just remember that if you did your best but RL got in they way, then you have nothing to feel guilty about (if you were). If you promised yourself to get a chapter out every week, but your job get's in the way, then it's a stumble in life rather than a failure on your part.
I don't think we'll see Chen tonight. It's going to be the rest of Vicky's reaction to Joe v. ABB, and whatever addendum material LordRoustabout grants us.
With Joe's 'third form' about to be revealed and the fight ending with Lung taking an FLT motoroid to the face, leaving behind nothing more than the arm Joe beat him with for a little while (let's hope Aisha recovered that!), people may not notice Chen while Lung yet lives.
