Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

Really reminded of Terminator movies with the way March lives through that. He has her physically in his super human grasp and he basically metaphrically shoves her really hard towards an exit and got distracted. Screw the bullshit thinker power, she is still just a squishy human and he has his grip locked on her arm with literally no room to wriggle her way out of reach unless he let her go or she lose the arm. Rip and Tear, bear hug and squeeze, anything but the Terminator throwing.

Joe just got hit with an annihilation effect that we know OOC can and will kill Endbringers and Scion. He got hit in his everything. He got hit while all of his brand new super sensors were scanning everything. He copped an omnidirectional annihilation effect, probably the most OP striker power in setting, while he was sort of capable of scanning how it actually achieved what it did.

Joe has somewhat decent odds of recreating Sting now. Not great odds to be fair, but he recreated Miss Militia's weapon with less interaction. So Joe might of just unlocked his "Fuck you. Fuck this. Fuck everything." series of attacks. If he can scan Foil/Flechette while she's using her power for more data about it he may just have the power he'd need to win the rest of the fic if he lines it up right.

So how do you guys think the copys will handle the Tetra problem? Personally I think that a Key Crest from the souls they got from Their demon friends will be used to manage her.

Okay, so March has pretty much Voldemort'd herself, she drank the metaphorical unicorn blood. That's... a thing. The only way I can think of that working is if she managed some kind of minor Titanification. If that's happened then I don't even know where she'd go from there, like it probably makes her powers way stronger, but I also feel like that would be uncharacteristically out of bounds for a Shard to do. Like, in canon, there's a reason Titans only appear after Scion dies and it's because that that shit isn't allowed. Maybe a modification of her version of Sting, to suspend the laws of nature on her body so that she can't get hurt any more than she already has?

I suspect a Noctis-like effect that allows most nutrients to be redirected away from her brain, and with homers power, much more precise body control.

I really hope after all that March was captured from where Joe left her crumpled up on the ground. Without her Bakuda, Oni Lee and U&L will be easier to deal with.

...that...was the single most anime thing I have ever read.

Holy fucking shit, he nuked Lung into orbit and then hit him with an FTL Kinetic-Kill Motorcycle! I bet that Fleet fragment's last thoughts were 'at last, I have achieved MAXIMUM FAST!!!'

I can't fucking *wait* to see all the reactions.
I know right? The soundtrack suggestions that were dropped right before the chapter really spell it out for you: Bleach into Kill la Kill, into Attack on Titan, into Pacific Rim. In the words of another poster in a thread far, far away, "Joe has broken physics so hard and so rapidly that the people in charge are still too busy trying to figure out how fucked the situation is to try unfucking it".

It started with rip in reality he created with a sword, then he and Tetra Life Fiber Synchronized, he turned into a were-Dino, martial artsed Lung into aerial combat, climbed up fire, brought in a giant robot, ran on fucking water, injected Lung with almost every offensive Dust effect there is, blew him almost into orbit with a shard of the sun, and then shot him with a relativistic impactor. And he got away with all of it.

As for Fleet, the poor guy had to be given some form of compensation for not getting to join in on the giant robot's maiden deployment. If Joe was that disappointed, imagine how crushed Fleet was. As is, he became the first person of Earth to experience FTL.

Epic. Absolutely fucking epic. This is one for the fanfic history books. Never before has pigeon shooting Lung out of orbit with an FTL ram ever been done, and it was worth every last one of the build-up chapters. March also finally got her shit wrecked through the power of Kill la Kill. Fuck, the upcoming Interludes are going to be fucking sweet, PHO or not.
Yeah she might have learned the lesson most bad guys only learn after they are dead don't monologue until your sure the hero is dead

Side note she probably isn't dead

You underestimate March's timings, my freind.
There's got to be time to play with though. The point defences have to have better than human reaction speeds or they'd be useless so as soon as Oni Lee appeared nearby he should of been blasted. If instead he timed the teleport to arrive just before March's effect detonated he might have been able to destroy the motoroid but he'd either still get shot due to not having enough time to teleport again or just die in his own explosion.

How though? He would of had to be right next to it to get the explosion off and theres no way his reactions are faster than the suits point defence system. He couldn't have blown it up immediately on teleporting either or he would have died as well.

Well, I've spent all day thinking on this when I started reading all the critics about this point and I think I have come up with a solution.

First: Apherion starts sniping ABB stealth tech
Second: Apheirons motoroid and drones become SIGNIFICANTLY more accurate and fast in their taking down of the goons after the sniping of the stealth tech.

So March put two and two together and realized that Apheiron's drones and motoroid are vulnerable to the stealth tech soo

Three: She tests said theory by sending Lee out with a portable version or some way of carrying said stealth tech with him while having him use cover to give him time to spam-port to see if the machines can target him. And what happens? They only shoot-on-sight the clones that pop out.
Four: Overwatch being Overwatch PROBABLY weren't watching over their own heads and likely focused ALL the camera's on the ground. Thus providing an opening.

Dude. Lung is gone. Author confirmation that he is never coming back. Oni Lee is in robot standby mode with crippling injuries. Bakuda has super-cancer in place of multiple limbs. And March? March is now a flipping zombie. Maybe if you only look at pure mechanical function, and cape life, there are little to no consequences, but their personal livelihoods and effective powerbases have been destroyed. Their bodies and sanities are in tatters, and they're not getting help anytime soon.
My issue is that Lung got hit with FTL and author alludes to kidnapping my cauldron. Like wtf. The March is alive technically but we wont see to what extent until she starts pops up again, probably to play more 4D chess, and Oni Lee looks like hes gonna get the Canon treatment of Hackjob. Lung should be dead but hes gone instead. Hes dead narratively but not literally. Thats my issue. Gone but not out from getting hit with FTL tech at ramming speed. Like it feels like a cop out for lung and march until we see March again.

The defence systems got nerfed, I agree there, but Oni Lee getting a hit on them wasn't impossible considering the circumstances.

I would just like to point out if I was the of I would have immediately finished March off because that is probably the last chance he is going to get in a while and leet might be able to heal her hopefully oni lee is dead and what the mc saw was a bloody smear

I'm still catching up on all these pages, but I'm just gonna quote and reply to this now.

Oh my god, tell me about it. And let's not forget the Demons. Joe rolls a perk that gives him demon ritual knowledge and refuses to ever use it, so the Forge just up and decides to automatically give him a positive working relationship with the forces Hell. Demons are gonna be fucking inviting Joe to parties now, going off that perk text, and who knows what that bit about Joe rendering them obscure services means. Will Joe be compelled to fulfill the occasional demonic demand now, or is the text of the perk implying that what he does already is now somehow serving the nebulous and obscure goals of Hell?

This is gonna be fucking hilarious. From our perspective. Joe may feel tempted to cry.

I don't know how familiar you are with Fallen London, but their version of Hell might be a bit different from what you're expecting.
For starters, they're really just alien bees in skin suits; the reason they collect human souls is to fuel their machines that create new natural laws.
Leaving aside the spoilers, they're a lot closer to Lawful Neutral than anything else, and the only traditionally 'evil' thing they do is collect human souls through a process which is both consensual and legal (for the most part). If they do come into play, it would probably be through studying their technology more than anything else, though they would definitely be very interested in acquiring a parahuman's soul.

Given it's stated capabilites and the universes the tech was sourced from I disagree, it should of been completely impossible barring Oni Lee gaining extra powers of some sort or Joe juggling idiot balls while designing the Motoroid.

Thanks for the insight. Never heard of fallen London before this

Lee can spam clones, and anything they hold including exotic effects like tinkertech of March's power.

With guidance he could pull the bs dome of doom.

Also, March would only be alive by Deus Ex machina or Contessa bullshit. Probably Doylist bullshit too because anything that accelerates fast enough to explode concrete is just gonna punch though any grab-bag brand brute. There is also the convinient ramped up Lung sneaking through sensors and thermosense.

Also, the formulae from fma are automatic I Win buttons he should have exploited.

Lung is irrelevant, there are enough exotics to slap him before he ramps up and Aperion should have enough sensors to find him in the city.

I'm not talking about the ball of doom which also seems dubious given the problems involved in getting the line of sight necessary to perfectly surround someone like that in an instant given how his cloning works.

I'm talking about when he somehow teleported next to and blew up the flying power armor with point defence systems specifically designed to prevent him from doing that.
