Unfortunately, this chapter broke suspension of disbelief for me.
I am not comfortable with how Oni-Lee was able to survive spawning clones in the beginning. You'd think that the motoroid would be able to shoot them down at close to light speed; the only way he would have been unable to do that is if Oni-Lee's teleportation was literally instantaneous, and he could queue up jump back-and-forth to effectively create clones while never exposing himself at all. But okay, Sechen ranges, whatever; I can deal.
I an extremely hard-pressed to believe what happened to Apeiron when he was shot down. The attack against him was said to ignore defences, and it would NEED to do that to get past his armor. The result of this was described as him having trouble finding a bone that wasn't broken, but I don't understand why there is any breaking at all - the areas hit by the annihilation effect should be gone, and everything else should be unaffected. If any part of him was left at all, Apeiron should be swiss cheese, not ground beef. I don't read Ward so maybe I just don't understand March's power, but the result described here doesn't seem consistent with how an annihilation power would interact with a high defense.
I don't understand how March survived the blow from Aperion. By the way that the combination of Divinity and Life Fivers were described, I would have expected a mere mortal with no defensive powers to be literally pasted by any contact from Aperion. The update mentions that "even with the speed of my movement I could see her try to twist her body to absorb the force", but I don't see how that is possible with how fast Aperion should be going; nor do I see how any sort of adjustments to her body would stop her from being pulped by the attack.
And I don't see how Lung survived that fight, either; he really shouldn't have been either durable, strong, or fast enough for the feats that he pulled off here. Not by a long shot. Seriously, when the duplicate joined the battle he hit Lung with a full-powered attack; how did it not reduce Lung to his constituent atoms? And then he survived the full missile barrage on top of that? And then later, his fires start being enough to threaten the duplicate's suit, despite Aperion's armor's ridiculous resistance to heat which was explicitly brought up in previous chapters?
Look, I'm sorry, but I just don't believe it. We've had literally hundreds of thousands of words about the improvements that Aperion was putting into his tech, but basically all of it made no difference. In the case of March being able to no-sell defenses, sure, that is justified by the nature of her powers as written. But for the rest? I don't see how the fight could have proceeded how it did.
