Reminds me of Queen of Blood where in the epilogue, the E88 is getting taken down, while Kaiser has noped out of Brockton Bay with the twins and is just sipping drinks on a beach somewhere.
That would be amazing, but probably not what was going to happen. It occurred to me that if/when March pops the bubble on the duplicate, that the duplicate could have extensive data taken from inside the bubble. Even if the bubble is stretching the last few seconds of its life out to over 900 years, the computational devices stuck inside with him are likely just fast enough to be able to utilize each millisecond, microsecond, and maybe even nanosecond. Slowly compiling data to send in a burst before popping. Now, this is probably just me being hopeful, but if this is in fact the case. Then it would allow Joe to both protect himself from further timestop mechanisms, and probably even help victims of Greyboy.
Lord was too busy to finish the chapter last week, but because he always posts near the end of Wednesday/start of Thursday he didn't just post it early when it was long enough to be ready. Instead he'll be posting an extra long chapter today, assuming life didn't get in the way again.I am wondering when the next update is going to happen author usually does one just about every week there hasn't been one for the last week and a half
Eh, I'd be sceptical of this. Even if we take a conservative estimate that Bakuda's time bubbles only last around 900 years and not Grey Boy's thousands, 4 days worth of altered time is just about a microsecond or two. And this is 3 day old technology that was already busy sending the scanning information on the time-bomb, as well as collapsing into nothingness along with the Clone. I'm doubtful there's much to be had in that timeframe, much less be sent along with the much more valuable data on the bomb. And then there's the issue that tinker-tech, in particular the really crazy stuff, is mostly a vehicle and limitation for a shard to use the actual technology from a seperate, shielded dimension. Some of it might make use of conventional principals, but I doubt time grenades have any of the actually interesting bits present inside them. And Joe definitely doesn't have the scanners to punch through Shard masking just yet (he might not be able to even with techno-pathy). I'd say at best he gets a clear view of what Bakuda's Time bombs look like in order to better prioritize them in the field, and maybe gets some scraps of design boosted by his own Shard's outrageous cheating. It occurred to me that if/when March pops the bubble on the duplicate, that the duplicate could have extensive data taken from inside the bubble. They did make a post stating the delay and that this week Wednesday (probably tonight for me, in 12 hrs or so) would be the update. Of course, they also don't seem to have posted since.I am wondering when the next update is going to happen author usually does one just about every week there hasn't been one for the last week and a half
"Shit, shit, okay, what do I need? Money... bug out bag... Theo? ...Fuck no. Twins? ...Definitely."Reminds me of Queen of Blood where in the epilogue, the E88 is getting taken down, while Kaiser has noped out of Brockton Bay with the twins and is just sipping drinks on a beach somewhere.

To further be that guy...on myself...1-2 microseconds is in hindsight complete BS, because there's no numbers on how much time passes in the bubble exactly. Nor is it known if time in the bubble is constant, or if it shifts depending on how much juice the bubble has left, perhaps speeding up the closer the bubble is to ending. About the only thing that could be said is that it probably isn't just stopped until the bubble is over given how I (think?) it was mentioned the cloned-mechs data would continue to be transferred it'd just take a few weeks. To be that guy, the time bubble in Batchelder Square will collapse in October 2864 according to one of the duplicates to Aisha from chapter 32. It is currently April 2011, so not even 900 years! Bakuda is slacking.

Cybertronium can interat with dimensions, so this might help with REing Tinkertech/fold-carbon.
1) He doesn't have Fold Carbon plans, the fusion tech he showed off was from Fallout. Even if he did, he'd have no way of getting Fold Carbon, which is a necessary part of the design.1) He don't need to reverse engineer fold-carbon, he already have the plans for it.
2) As for RE Tinkertech, he had access to other dimensions way before cybertronium : call beads are pretty much a hole in reality that goes into shardspace.
While Call-beads don't work like that, he definitely does have Fold-Carbon, and he can make it too. He just can't cheese with it due to the higher-dimensional complexity, and thus no auto-replication for now. The fusion tech he showed Dragon was one of many, the Fold-Carbon reactor is simply one of the few pieces of tech he hasn't mastered or cheesed, nor is it really time effective to invest in when his personal kit is what it is and he has the Call-ball.1) He doesn't have Fold Carbon plans, the fusion tech he showed off was from Fallout. 2) Call Beads can't be used that way and you know it. The rift he made to shardspace was unstable and fleeting.
Screw that show dragon the Hellgun backpack! If he wants to impress Dragon he should show her An Las-Gun powerpack
the thing runs on magic and prayers
A solar-charged lasergun is a big deal
a Battery as good as a powerpack and as reliable is almost unheard
Edit: depending on the writer a full-powered las pack can melt the front of a chaos dreadnought
Eh, I doubt it. It'll barely exist long enough to be technically considered "out of the bubble" anyways. The mechanoid inside the bubble might not be able to gather a useful amount of data about being trapped in the field, but if the ABB undoes the bubble it'll get plenty of data on the bubble's removal.
While we're waiting, thought I would do an omake based on some jokes on the discord.
I'm not sorry.
Apeirnyan / An Absowute Catdown.
I punched Lung away, only to feel the Celestial Forge move to the Toolkits constellation.
I gained a machine that would allow me to upgrade armor of clothing to shapeshift with the wearer. Huh.
I also gained an upgrade to my knowledge of Tai Chi Chuan, and could shift my body into that of a... humanoid cat...
Being a cat would allow me to apply my Tai Chi Chuan much more effectively though...
I pushed tetra to her limits, and shifted, tearing my coat and helmet. I felt my boots biting into my lower paws. I could handle the pain.
Lung ran at me, slowly increasing his size.
My vocal cords rearranged, meaning to a degree my talking was closer to singing, which meant it was affected by my Serene Sinatra, and so a sweet feline voice exited my lips "I mean, if you'we that hungwy fow mowe, i'm wiwwing to finish you off, nyah."
Lung hesitated in his punch, and I grabbed his large wrist, and jumped forward, using a combination of my feline flexibility and Crazy Contortionist to propel my legs forward to kick his shoulders. As he stumbled back I used my legs to propel myself over him, still grabbing his hand, thus flipping him. I slammed my balled-up paws hard into the back of his shoulders, hitting two nerve-clusters with enough intensity to knock him out.
I looked to Oni Lee, who was wearing a similar vest, but with all sorts of tinkertech bombs.
I quickly placed lung within my personal dimension, not willing to let Oni Lee retrieve the dragon of Kyushu.
My motoroid fell behind me and engaged the shields, just in time before 50 different bombs came from 50 different Oni Lee's.
Damn. He was really pushing himself.
At least half of those were reverse-engineering bombs, the others being various crystalline and melting exotic effects.
Fleet dropped the shields and took off, Survey using the knowledge from sensor arrays to tell me where Oni Lee was at all times.
I used my claws to climb up to the motoroid and used my Omnitool to fabricate some tools. I quickly upgraded the laser, making it weaker (not that was a necessary trade-off, I just didn't want to fry Oni Lee to death), but much much more precise, and much quicker.
Brilliant Red gossamer threads of heat painted the afternoon sky as they flew towards the teleporter, thicker ones occasionally flying out and hitting any duplicates he left behind to death, not letting them live a moment longer.
Oni Lee began running more savagely, in fear of his life. Barely dodging the surgical blasts that tore into his flesh. He was duplicating like crazy, making flesh-walls that were quickly eradicated.
He suddenly fell, still.
I assumed I had knocked him out, and ran over to the scene, only for him to stand up, 5 clones suddenly bum-rushing me.
I dodged and jumped to the top of the building. They were weirdly avoiding their bombs, but after a second I realized what was happening. They weren't disappearing. I had gotten Oni Lee WAY too close to his original trigger event apparently, and his power had upgraded seriously.
"sowwy dawwings, but i don't think you can handwe me, even if i spwit it among you aww, nyah."
They all froze, and my motoroid flew in behind them and lasered them away.
I jumped up, hitching a ride to the motoroid as it flew down the street.
"Owo no!" I didn't know what sounds I was making or why, while my vocal cords had changed to be more feline, there was a level of intentionality to my word-choice that just felt right to this body.
Did that count as a quarter for the jar?
I dodged a torrent of exotic grenades and looked down at the matter of my concern. The army of Raging Oni Lees.
"Damn lee, you weawwy want me to finish you, don't you? i'm wiwwing to obwige, nyah."
I fabricated a massive transmutation array and created a dome around all the clones. Surgical lasers pierced the asphalt and killed all clones but one. I then activated the transmutation array again, collapsing most of the asphalt back onto the road, except for the asphalt box that now surrounded the top of the teleporter's head like a glove. It was formed in such a way that it could not be removed without alchemy.
I kicked Lee in a specific cluster near the crotch, and he fell unconscious.
I felt the theatrics of the moment, something this form of mine seemed to revel in, so I engaged the speakers of my Motoroid. "You guys need to weawn you can't compete with me. I'm apeiwnyan! i am the boundwess! even with two tinkews you guys can't get anywhewe neaw my wevew! i'm sick of sick fucks wike you thinking you can wun this city..." I glanced up to a helicopter that was monitoring the fight, I increased the volume of the speakers, added some reverb and grinned as I yelled valiantly "SIC SEMPEW TYWANNIS!"
And with that declaration of war upon the gangs of the city in the most harmless voice, I stored Oni Lee and flew away.
I flew over to the first duplicate, who had hacked his way into the deadman's switch, and had tracked down Bakuda and March. Their armor was more effective, being more than super-plated vests, but with my duplicate doing drive-by cuts into their clothing, slowly paving a way, I would manage to laser them out in a second.
March scoffed as she dodged a slice and nicked the duplicate with her saber. "I'd hate to have to destroy two of your machines, but it's worth it."
We both knew what was coming. I flew up as quick as I could as the omnidimensinal attack blew away his side and he popped away, sending all his data on the deadmans switch to me right before it was all erased with him.
March froze, then slowly looked up to me. I opened the hatch and hopped out.
"I agwee, that was absowutwey wowth it!" and with that I sent a torrent of stone at her face, and she collapsed. Bakuda, who stood gobsmacked now, had a laser redirected through her cornea, used as a reflector to slice away her corona polenta and gamma.
I stored the two villainesses within my subdimension along with their other teammates.
I sighed "Aww in a days work!"
I then flew over to the second duplicate, recording as much data that had survived about various fronts, and met up with the second. I then looked to Chen.
"Owo no!"
If titan's blood isn't fused with his demigod blood for extra bullshit I will be incredible dissapointed.IT IS VERY LIKELY TITANS BLOOD WAS ROLLED!!!!!!
THOSE LAST TWO MAKE IT OBVIOUS!
THIS WILL BE GLORIOUS!
