Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

What was writen:
You should look harder for that old WoG post then, since it's absolutely Lord admitting to both being wrong about the spelling they're using and about why they aren't bothering to correct it.
I would have thought that the emoji I included would have been evidence enough that my complaint was mostly joking at this point, but I suppose some people are just incapable of reading subtext. Additionally it's not my responsibility to educate you on the lore of the Transformers franchise, but in the future I would advise you to dig a bit deeper than a notoriously poorly put together wiki, if only to reduce how embarassing it might look to try and quote then with such assumed authority.

What i read:
You should look harder for that old WoG post, because Lord is obviously WRONG and there no way he is not, because i said so.
You obviously WRONG because you dare to say that i may be WRONG which is impossible, because i said so.
Additionally you dare to give some informational context to you heretical statement of me being WRONG from community wiki, which obviously poorly put together and WRONG and everyone knows that, because i said so.
Welcome to the Internet, place where everyone WRONG except ME, because I.SAID.SO.

It appears you're right, I'm bad at reading subtext on the internet.

Welp, tough luck.

On more interesting subject - new Dragonflight, which is defenetly specialized for Dragon's new "pursuing of Apeiron" hobby( Because the Greek Sea monster name).

Is anyone interested what it's capable of?
I'm interested what it's capable of and i have no idea...

Do we know how many perks are still in the Forge? I've lost track at this point. I think that Joe has probably gotten like half of them?

Through The... Brockton Celestial Forge Reference, it's a little behind last I checked, but it's a good ballpark at the very least
88 left, but there is a lot of expensive ones.
There is at the very least 39800CP left, which doesn't include the capstone domain that has yet to be added, and ignores repeatable perks. So at least another 600k words.

Definitely tracking equipment, can't keep up with Apieron if you can't find him.

She well also be interested in Chariot's Tech when he makes a appearance, who is all about speed.

Do you think any other Tinkers take inspiration from Aperions work, like chariot taking the shape of the Motriod when in bike Form for reference.

Looking forward to all the shit she & Armsy will manage to cram into it, since she'll be in Brockton, allowing for better collaberation.

Yeah, i'm too, this thing gonna be at least glorious.

Maybe force fields like on L33t's Apharmd and Temjin, useless but just in case.

New "Best Tinker In The World" will definitely become insperation for a lot of different kinds of Tinkers and that awesome!
Just imagine Armsy begrudgingly looking at motoroid when recreating his motorbike, Dragon analyzing every bit of data on Apeiron to create counters to him, Bonesaw looking at all of joe's work and...
Damn, that's gonna be goryous~

Once again, all shard gotta be loving Joe and everything he does. Just look how much data, conflict, motivation for different capes to go highwire and pure Chaos he creats.

Actually was thinking about Fleet's identity and I found the perfect name for him
Ford Benz
Ford is an actual name, and was the last name of Henry Ford, Benz is a real last name and was the last name of Carl Benz, who built the first commercial vehicle iirc, the Benz MotorWagen.

EDIT:
I recalled this from chapter 27
Actually, with that thought, if I could specialize the EM emitters enough and couple them with some kind of photon matrix I could create solid holograms. Maybe. It was just physics concepts rather than any hint to the application, so that was something of a challenge, but I could definitely create the impression of a normal closet behind my entrance door instead of giving people a view of the Workshop's central access room. Master Builder had some holographic principles as well, and with the boost from Xenospecialist I could probably pull them off without needing cybertonium.
Joe would just need to adjust the projectors a bit and he could have Delphine Mertens exist as a "real human being"(Physical Hologram), and could do the same thing with Ford, and that would likely be easier since he could build said projectors into his Pinto or whatever he would have Fleet drive Garment in.

So basically a hardlight construct?

That seems fine for both, and I'm sure they'd be satisfied with the physical medium between them and the world, as that is better than holograms, but honestly phoning it for someone like Joe.

He'll more likely make highly individualized avatars for them, more than likely from different systems, and integrate (likely magically) the ability to take on a human form with essentially all the benefits and 1:1 on senses and capabilities. Well, by fiat, probably better-than, actually.

Now when you mentioned it, i remember Lord mentioned hard light dust once or twice, and that stuff can be a good boon with Physical Holograms.

Wait, isn't The Siberian just magical Physical Hologram(projection?) with "ignore physics" ability??? Can Joe actually make something like her(obviously less durable) on accident when playing with Physical Holograms concept?

Yeah I think physical holograms/hardlight constructs would be the way to go, he could easily add Mass Effect emmiters if necessary, although they would have to be super-detailed, to allow for proper sensation.
He could make them actual android bodies though. I mentioned it in Simurvey, but he could easily modify synthleather a bit to make it look like human skin.

So the story is... already halfway over?

She doesn't care about the ABB and is doing... nebulous shardspace stuff? Why any of the other villains, aside from Bakuda who is nuts, are going along with it is a bit baffling though. They're all weirdly invested in earning themselves a one-way ticket to the Birdcage or a grave.

Bakuda: she want everyone to recognize her GENIUS. And since she's a mad bomber, she think the best way to achieve that is to bomb the city. So yeah, she's nut.

Lung: he want revenge for Apeiron's slights (see: the previous chapter). Also keep in mind March took control of the ABB while Lung was in prison, and by the time he got out, she was too important to his gang for him to remove her.

Oni Lee: his power is flawed and doesn't copy his brain correctly, so he get more and more stupid over time. By the time the story roll, he is easily manipulated by Lung and March. (Fair warning : I don't remember is that's canon or very common fanon)

Uber and Leet: they want respect, reputation, fame (remember: they have been the butt of everyone jokes before March). Leet, the consciousness of the two, is also getting gaslighted / manipulated by March (and maybe Uber).

March: she want to kiss/kill Flechette (they are part of a group trigger), and the best way to do that is to force the PRT to send the wards by creating so much damage they don't have a choice. She also want to learn more about shardspace (she got a peek during her trigger). Do you remember what powers Joe bike ? A call bead. A direct link to shardspace.

So I've been reading back a bit through comments and had a look at said perks.

Inexplicable Innuendo (Bayonetta) Free:
You're not sure how, but just by being here you've gotten the jive of things. Any time you want to come off as sexy or just talk in a lightheartedly dirty manner, it's easy as pie for you. Want to make some people squirm with an implication? Done. You can even implement this in your battle quips, throwing them off their game for that moment of distraction you need.

Classy Contortionist (Bayonetta) Free:
Um... this is something. You've got an innate sense of posing that you can utilize, whether it be to show off your sexiness or simply throw people off their game. It's got all kinds of applications, and no matter what you're always going to look good. Throw it into your battle styles or something.
Nothing in here says that Joe should be struggling with holding it back or unleashing it on people, unless there's been a WoG change by authorman.
Pretty much all the language used in the 2 perks explicitly mean that he should have full control over the sexual innuendo AND the posing. Just that if he wants to use it he can do so as if it comes naturally and it's fiat backed to always look good. That's why the perks use the words; want and can so much, instead of will or something else that insinuates low or no control.

But again, maybe I just missed a post where Roustabout said he's going to interpret them differently.

Given that Joe spent three or more paragraphs discussing it in the story, as well as all the times he mentioned holding back flirty quips and frantically trying to not look like a model posing for a photoshoot while talking to random strangers, I think at this point it's very clear which interpretation is used in the story.

Exactly, and I was wondering whether this was consciously done or because he misinterpreted the perks. Unless you assume it's impossible for authors to make mistakes?

Under Classy Contortionist it says, "and no matter what you're always going to look good." Joe can choose if he wants to pose sexily, but it says right there that he is going to look good whether he wants to or not.

The innuendos are different, but he isn't throwing innuendos into everything he says, but he does still struggle with it and I'm pretty sure that has more to do with his own struggles with social situations. He might not fully realize what actually is innuendos.
