Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

Does... does being a parahuman matter for a child who's been kidnapped from their family? It's not like Joe's okay with kidnapping or murdering civilians, even if he called out not breaking the Unwritten Rules as his red line as well. I guess Lisa has the same perspective as Purity then, seeing the unpowered as not important.
I know new chapter droped, havent read that but still has to answer:

Its kind of funny how easily people forget that Undersiders are villains and for the most part they really dont give a shit about everyone else. So yeah, for villainess Tattletale situation of some random child who is probably just got extravagant house arrest doesnt matter in the slightest. What a surprise huh?

Newt to it > New to it or Next to it?

Case 53 to Amazon + small form is great, but all of Joes items also adapt so she'll eventually get more in between options.

Reactions are fun and this would be an interesting PHO interlude, but I kind of want to see her date either in or out of costume.

Oh no, I'm not surprised Tattletale is an idiot or evil.

I'm just surprised she's so evil, she can disassociate enough to bypass Joe's manipulation sensing power. That she cares so little for kidnapping that the thought of hiding a kidnapped child from Joe doesn't even register to her as manipulative.

Now... we get to see the reactions. Because like she's noted several times, Weld was already 'the lucky one'. This is a much more dramatic change. Also one likely to 'confirm' several rumors about Aperion's own (former) monster cape status.
Before: Oh no, Apeiron is capable of treating Case 53s, but he only wants to help the sexy ones!
After: Oh no, Apeiron wants to help all the Case 53s, but he insists on making them sexy!

This chapter and discussion about Gully's appearance does make me concerned about those that might raise an issue. Considering Gully's age is unknown and just generally how forum sites react to that kind of stuff. As well as just how people might view Lord as a person for that kind of thing.

It's everything I ever could have asked for.

Did Joe just do the thing he did in Ch100, but better, to use his Forge powers to fix a passenger directly at scale? That is so cool!
Basically Gully was one of the Cauldron victims who already had a connection to a passenger before she was dosed with one of Cauldron's experimental vials. This lead to the dead parts of the Thinker's shards that Cauldron used connecting to Scion's shard and screwing with the forced trigger event.

What Apeiron did was basically reset the link and help the living shard form a proper connection to Gully. However, possibly due to Apeiron being present, the shard went overboard with all the information it had gained from it's previous connection and now Gully has the Amazon body everyone wanted her to have back when this was first being talked about.

Essentially the shard did all the work, Apeiron just helped prevent it from spinning off into something unpleasant due to Cauldron having no idea what they are doing.

Newt to it she felt even more awkward and uncoordinated than usual
While she wasn't conventionally attractive, she shouldn't consider herself a newt. Should probably be 'Next'.

it was simple enough. Of simplified enough.

One of the potential results of such a connection is a modulation of a parahuman's abilities.
'Of' should probably be 'or', and the next paragraph is missing a starter quotation mark.

"Fine. If that's alright with you?" He asked gully.
Gully isn't capitalized here for some reason.

I love how this chapter captured how unnerving it is to even just be helped by a extremely powerful entity, even when they're being friendly. Even just the perfect 'coincidences' set off subtle alarm bells. Their casualness with their own capabilities also doesn't help.

The actual chance wasn't as uncomfortable as she expected. In fact, it seemed almost energizing, like she could feel the intent behind the effect. The floor dropped away as she shot up beyond even Apeiron's height. And not just height. Her muscles swelled to support the new frame and her body filled in and….

Oh.

"Yeah." Lethe said, looking up at her. The armored woman was close enough that Gully couldn't fully see her. Not without turning to the side.

"Um, this is what Apeiron was worried about?" She asked as she looked down. Her voice wasn't the light thing it had been before, but there was still no hint of the roughness she's struggled with all her life. Just a richness of tone. Like a shift from soprano to alto.

As she spoke she twisted her body back and forth and felt the curves move. Actual curves, not the heavy slabs of muscle and scar tissue skin she'd dealt with all her life.

Yeah, I'd just like to say I called it, it was meant as a joke but then I suppose that is a running theme here.

Muscle Mommy Gully, let's go.

(Just writing that down made me lose 5 IQ points.)

Evidence, the first.

I just want to point out... this is not helping Apeiron with the accusations that he has a preference for... aesthetically pleasing results.

I assume a large part of that is the gut wrenching, soul shaking fear of getting caught by Noelle and releasing an evil Joe. All Noelle clones either gate everything or hate everything the original loved and actively wants to do harm to them and anything they like. Joe is generally a nice guy who, for all its flaws, likes the city she's currently living in. The idea of an evil version of the guy who was boxing supercharged Lung and styling on him after nearly being executed and left less than half alive, was actively dying, and removed from what should be his main source of power, actively hating and gunning for you sins like beyond a nightmare scenario.

Some of the other typos I noticed have already been called out (Newt, lowercase gully), but have some punctuation stuff that hasn't:

One of the potential results of such a connection is a modulation of a parahuman's abilities. The breach allows a stronger connection, which can be expressed in everything from temporary empowerment to the manifestation of new powers to a completely new expression of base abilities." He continued.
Missing opening quotation mark.

One strong enough to make her doubt whether it was actually possible for her to damage or disrupt anything no matter what she did
Missing the period at the end.

Lord you should have called the chapter bibbidi bobbidi boo.
Everett my boy say goodbye to your pelvis and prepare for death by snu snu.
The only thing in this chapter that bothers me is that I expected a more emotional reaction, you know crying tears sobbing.

I mean, it was clearly shock overwhelming her so much that she hasn't really understood what happened yet. I imagine that'll happen when she meets Weld and Flechette over at Garment's place and she finally gets her full Amazoness Goddess of Cinderella moment.

"Great." He said before turning to Lethe. "Any luck?"

She shook her head. "It's definitely power induced. Something close to mine. Like disturbingly close to mine, but the mechanism is different enough that I can't roll it back. Not without a lot of work or by going technicolor."

Apeiron grimaced. "Yeah, probably best to hold off on that."

"Sorry, what was this about?" Gully asked in confusion.

"Was just seeing if I could fix your memory loss." Lethe said.

Gully's eyes widened. "You can do that?" She hissed.

"Apparently not." Lethe said. "At least not now. Call that your follow-up? Two-week checkup, see how you're adjusting?"
Yeah, I probably should have realized The Slug has Eden's version of Safeguard a while ago. To be fair, when was the last time a Wormfic actually had the Slug appear on screen? Like, I think the percentage of Wormfic that even mention him are in the single digits.

You are probably right, our Amazoness goddess Gully is still in shock about her new body
