Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

He can defeat Zion, maybe wait until the Workshop is big enough or a big and stable enough vortex bomb. Have we considered just chucking the entities into the Warp and replacing their role with Aura or anything else really, since the death of Eden and Zion shows the problems if the Admins both die without designating an heir.
If you're gonna nuke Shardspace, you've gotta nuke all of it. As you pointed out, leaving a headless Shard network functioning just leads to Ward antics.
End the Parahuman era. All fall down.

Or just hack Zion, and have him continue to modulate powers, maybe dial down the conflict drive.

I'm sorry, when was this? Was this when Uber went to see the Butcher? (I mean the thinker group)

There was mention of the group of thinkers in Victor's interlude when he was talking about how he was figuring out how Alchemy worked after the scraps he picked up from Lethe, but on a search of 'monitor' through the entire work i think it's conversation after the chapter that I've confused with something confirmed to have happened ('Survey is keeping track of things in the group chat'). My bad, memory issues.

I thought it was born of the running joke that Survey is the entire rest of the "secret" thinker group that's studying alchemy.

Victor was working with unspecified Thinkers on alchemy as of his own interlude that I quoted last page.
Uppercrust, when contemplating personnel changes after the clean house mandate, brought up that Bastard Son was collecting material science expertise.
Uber mentioned to the Butcher that he was in the Thinker group working on unspecified Apeiron derived techniques inferred from context to be medical alchemy.
I don't recall any explicit confirmation of Survey's involvement, but if she were involved she should've brought it up as a lead on Uber.

Well that doesn't seem like a overly useful goal to have compared to its difficulty to accomplish; gardening the place, preparing it to grant blessings upon the needy, seems like it would be better.

That's why I've been advocating a potential alliance with QA, even in Canon she openly defied Zion and managed to convince at least a supermajority of usable Shards to agree, maybe if you bribe her with becoming the Admin/Core/Leader/Mother after Zion crippled her prior to this Cycle and the fact that it's nonfunctional anyway and the Data! of the CF would work. Besides she's got a soft spot for Taylor.

But it does represent the power of a fully functional Shard Network, with Joe's many ways of grating unlimited space and energy I think the majority of Shards that matter would be willing to defect if Joe helped remove their restrictions.

Saw a few video clips online about hunting giant hornets. Basically, the hunters find and feed a giant hornet. While the hornet is feeding, the hunters secure a highly visible flag to the hornet. When the hornet flies home, the hunters follow then destroy the nest.

Seemed like a good analogy to shard hunting.

Between Bakuda's Shard breaking op-sec and Broadcast communicating with as many Shards as possible, the Final Frontier fleet must be gaining some great data.

Also, I can't wait until everyone finds out.

Alexandria: "You directly accessed Shardspace!?"

Apeiron: "Yeah, nine days ago. Place was a mess. But don't worry, I've been fixing and upgrading everything. The update goes in effect in 10 minutes. Just wanted to give you a little forewarning as a courtesy. "

Marsupial of Gold: Everything may taste purple and sound like brusel sprouts for about two and half minutes, give or take a milisecond, but everything will be in ordee after the update..... Unless you smell spiders and/or see the lost hopes and dreams of eleven years olds, that will be a terrible sign.

Neither the prt or Cauldron know shardspace exists in canon and so even in bcf they don't know it by that name as the sum total of their knowledge of it is what Vicky and Triumph saw when March broke the call gem. It also really wouldn't be too surprising given that happened by breaking his call gem and they think the reason he is so strong is he's been using it to mess with his power.

When did Ashley Freaking Stillons, the Damsel of Distress, become a master of Social-Fu!? That was not what I've been expecting from someone I saw a delusional/too enamored with the spectacle of being a villain. Damn! Wonderful chapter seeing Tybalt get to finally debut and make people understand that Lung got off lucky. Sure he died, but it was an epic showdown not seen outside of an Endbringer fight. Kataclysm would have batted him around like a housecat with a gecko.

Tons of capes have been getting competence upgrades. And it's not just powers suddenly cooperating and being more permissive than normal with the sechen range thing and their interest in Aperion and his new data, villains are just flat out better (sometimes at the cost of being morally worse than normal, like Uber and Leet, who never did anything that terrible in canon because they got taken down easily during the Bakuda bombing event at the storage facility before they'd actually done much and as such didn't ruin their lives really badly until after Noelle, and that was all off screen.)
The villains don't get a massive competency upgrade (compared to canon) but it's kind of jarring when you've gotten used to watered down fanon versions. The only villain who was really actually that good in canon was March, who had villain plot armor until she was specifically hunted down and killed by Vista, Foil / Flechette, and Imp about 3/4rths of the way into WARD.

Relating to this, I recently saw an NYT article about how miniature wasps steal the hearts of the cockroaches that they mind control.

Seems like a good comparison for my proposed plan of stealing admin rights or borrowing, not being picky and just getting the peasant Shards to stand down or not show favouritism as they did with Lung or Jack.

Article:
...
This is how he ended up capturing the larva's taste for cockroach heart. But he made an unexpected discovery: After eating the heart of the cockroach, the wasp larva started gnawing at its quarry's trachea, the insect equivalent of lungs. This caused air to leak out of the cockroach's respiratory system and into its body cavity, air that the wasp larva then eagerly slurped up.

In other words, the emerald jewel wasp both eats the cockroach's heart out and takes its breath away.

For Uber and Leet minor quibble but they were working for Coil and aside from probably knowing about Dinah Leet also made a device to scan Taylor's power which he gave to Krouse to use and then using the data from it made the swarm box. The swarm box is a device which overrides Taylor's control with orders for all the bugs in range to spiral in to it and atk anyone they detect. It was also used to fake Taylor betraying the undersiders by using a teleportation device Leet made to swap Taylor out with a fake while dumping her into a burning building surrounded by Coil's mercs to try and kill her. If you follow the wog on the matter Leet would have known that was the intention because originally he was ordered to teleport her somewhere instantly fatal but because of Taylor being such a good host QA went to bat for her so he wasn't allowed to make anything instantly fatal.

I would also argue canon Hookwolf was pretty competent in the brief showing he actually had. Following Kaiser's death the empire split between his leadership and Purity's but most of the capes sided with him. Additionally, during the truce meeting to deal with the nine he was the only one there out of every other cape group who had noticed and worked out that the undersiders and travellers had been claiming territory all across the city.

Therefore, he made the standard truce demand of them ceasing their operations for the duration of the truce because it was massively to his benefit, to their detriment and done such that no other party would argue against it. By being made to stop they would have lost the goodwill of the people they had built up and have to start over except that they had been relying on no-one knowing what they were doing and the other groups needing to reorganise since they'd taken losses to Levi notably Kaiser making the Empire split, Aegis the wards leader and Armsy the protectorate leader being confined for breaking the truce.

I would like to see Alma find out about the situation with Coil and Dinah. I think it would have the potential for this story.
She'd probably keep quiet though and make it a happy surprise given her status as the greatest teleporter right now. Given her status as the little sis of Survey, they would inform him after calling Tattletale. Joe already knows about Coil but like I mentioned below, not Dinah.

I was always annoyed that Joe flip-flopped so hard with the BBCB robbery that he completely missed Dinah's kidnapping.
At least the countless uses of her power weren't for nothing. Probably going to be saved immediately before or after the S9.

Given TT being kind of a wuss right now, I would say in around 20 full chapters, so 30-40 uploads or in a year and a half of IRL time we'l manage to get to the Dinah/Coil Arc. Given that unpersoning the S9 is his current goal.

Do you mean Aisha or Tetra, maybe? I don't remember that Survey was have any connection with Alma ( ghost-girl from FEAR, you know).
I mean, that Alma would have take Dinah situation close to her heart, with her own background. Definitely, with EXTREMELY violence. If she could to interact with something. I have no enough knowledge about FEAR lore, and why she can`t interact with no one, except Joe.
Maybe Coil's (or Dinah?) power would have some... "connectivity" to Alma, what will allow her to interact witn them.

As I remember, Joe completely ignored Dinah's kidnapping, when it was on TV news, because he was so angry on his shard for situation with The Undersiders. And Joe was ignored everything and completely enjoyed about his shard was finally suffering about TV news. Because in this moment it was about Dinah's kidnapping.
After that? I guess that Joe don`t like think about the BBCB robbery enough. So he ignored Dinah too. And Survey wasn`t online at that time, so she didn`t make investigation about Dinah too, I think.
In one of TT interludes it was about she knew that Coil now have a precog, and she knew that Coil kidnapped Dinah too, but she didn`t understand for that he did it. She didn`t put two and two together. Would that be enough to save her from Joe's wrath? May be. Would that be enough to save her from Alma's wrath? Is the question.

I really hope that S9 will ended until this year. Or at least a fight will begin :)

Is there plans for more story this week, or are we back on 'every two weeks' and the delay last time means we've swapped which week of the fortnight it's on?
