So we have 4 Econ to EE refunds this phase only. We have -4 EE income, +20 from Txolla. The Build Mills are both refunded into EE via overflow for +8 EE. So is the Grand Annex and Dam for +4. So a total of +16 EE from stuff we do, 12 after income and then 32 after Txolla. Hrmmmm...

Right then switching the Txolla around. From just our actions and then the base we will have 42 Econ Expansion, and then the 30 Expand Economy eats 27 of it due to overflow. Which leaves us at 15 Expansion.

Um

I'm quite sure the Storm-Y people are trying to tie their royalty to our royalty

which ain't gonna happen since We don't do hereditary so any children from our Martial Genius ain't getting the crown unless they can prove that they can do the job

The SY should know this, they did come from us

This will be the only opportunity we'll get in a long time to get this much Build Mills done as only now are the guilds willing to do it. There is no better time to making great strikes in automating Ymaryn society, especially since the Great Dam will make great use of mills.

@BungieONI
After checking over the math, I actually like your plan... if we could trust the provinces to follow it exactly.
Unfortunately, I don't think we can.

Your plan requires the provinces to do the full +30 econ. While I consider it almost certain for them to do that on my plan (since I end at 4 econ), you get us to ~20 econ. I do not trust the provinces to Expand Econ past the cap with the explicit intent of overflowing. My plan barely overflows (and I might even switch the mills to a second gym to guarantee full EE refunds) whereas your plan depends upon massive overflow to keep the cities around. Without GM confirmation I don't think I can accept a plan that requires the provinces to do something so strange.

edit: and you just posted a different plan. I still don't like the integration at all though, it makes us fail the Urban Poor quest.

@Academia Nut

Because of our culture of polygamy can we pick multiple marriage options?
Hmm...

The Storm Ymaryn might be insulted that we are treating their Hero King's daughter as anything other than the Best.
The Nomads probably won't care too much, because Nomads.

Patricians might care, but they also might not, since having their daughter married to the King likely gives them a lot of benefits in court.

Allying with the Storm Ymaryn would be interesting, let's just bear in mind that they have taken on practices like slavery that we don't like much. What would we expect from them as allies?

I expect they want an alliance with us, possibly in part because they just saw us field the largest army in history and massacre a major nomad horde with our genius leader who's now heir.

I actually messed with things in order to delay the income from Txolla so that we can get down to 15 Econ Expansion.

We have +4 from Mills, and we spend 4 Econ from Annex and Dam putting us at 0. They have five secondaries left and nothing to spend, so thats 5 secondaries which have a high likelihood of being Expand Econ(I'm confident they will do this since they don't have anything else *to* do and this is an out for them to avoid starvation and get a Dam action done so I figure they will go for it). Also spends less wealth incidentally.

Chance for 1 to 3 Stability.

E: Expansion wise, this is us at 30 (accounting for refunds from Dam and Annex and negative income). Then we spend 27 Expansion(accounting for three overflow refunding) into 30 Econ with Expand Econs. Then our overflow from mills happens and we end at 7 Expansion.

I've changed my mind on marriage.

Marrying internally promotes Purity. Marrying Storm Ymaryn promotes slavery. Marrying Forhuch promotes Pride in Acceptance.

Why!? Why waste the Main on Build Gymnasium!? Replacing the Sec Survey Lands with it is one thing, but a Main Build Mills!? Not only is that taking us further away from automating industry and dealing with the increased wealth costs, it throws away the opportunity for a Double Main, which has non-linear effects!

(I'm confident they will do this since they don't have anything else *to* do and this is an out for them to avoid starvation and get a Dam action done so I figure they will go for it).
The issue is that they should know what our stat caps are. While Expand Econ is what they'll certainly do to hit our caps, I don't trust them to continue Expand Econ-ing past that point.

Also, integrating Txolla at the end of the turn guarantees our cities don't reform, failing the Urban Poor quest. I'd prefer to avoid that.

which has non-linear effects!
Logarithmic is still non-linear.

I'm sorry if this comes across as somewhat obtuse, but could you walk me through the Econ Expansion math? I'm a little lost, and I'd like to understand how this plan lands us under the point where our Free Cities pop.

Whelp, the 4 econ really threw us through a loop here.

edit: changed

While I might maybe want to do things slightly differently, I think consensus is the most important thing here. We do not have a lot of wiggle room.

Would appreciate any Marriage option analysis from peeps.

Reposting my plan (with HK -> Highlanders)

[X] [Guild Secondary] Survey Lands

It gets 4 war missions in and reforms at least 2 of our True Cities, possibly more. It doesn't get as much Stability as I'd like, but it means that we can guaranteed deal with the HK and kick them out of the lowlands. edit: It also means we'll have enough stats to get the GA advancements.

BungieOni's plan keeps our free cities around, but it fails the Urban Poor quest due to the +20 EE we'll be getting at the end of the turn from Txolla's integration

Why on Earth do you think one Main War Mission would be anywhere enough?

Alyxunmyn said he could deal with the Highlanders in the lowlands on offensive at the least. One War Mission is not a good substitute.
