I'm not inclined to give the SY free Econ. This will also weaken Mass Levy as it comes on next turn. I want to perseve our ability to Kick ass as much as possible for when the Mass Levy really gets instituted.
Actually with our temp econ damage resistance we can tank everything.

We are that bullshit.

a few of the alchemists were given ideas about ways to use some of the fibrous materials in the bark and various textiles.

Is that? I think it is. PAPER!

We don't need an offensive policy, we need Martial. I'm also suggesting that we push for a "Religious Orders" boost to help counter their cavalry with our own.

[X] [Kick] 1 Stability, 2 Temp Econ damage
[X] [Trade] Push the guilds to the limit to meet demands (Trade Tech for Wealth, up to 5 per phase, to attempt to top up Wealth)
[X] [AG] They may join (Open games, ???)

These two are basically extensions of our oldest methodology in the game, and one we sort of let fall by the wayside. "Come in, the fire is warm." We have terrible tech security anyway, and closer interaction can only lead to assimilation of smaller cultures into larger ones. This is especially true for the Storm Ymaryn, who, at some level, identify with us, as us.

The war is a bit of an issue as it keeps us from intervening against the HK. I'm not terribly worried about them attacking us, given that we have fought multi front wars before, but it is annoying.

Also, apparently it is a "Take the Crown" CB, so we get +1 martial per phase(holy shit) from Kings Do Not Kneel.

This is an opportunity for paper. Paper would be massively useful to us.

Perfect time for paper, though. Right before we upgrade our government, so now it'll be able to take advantage of that tech.

Trees.

PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPER!
We also got cinnamon.

Article:
Cinnamon has been known from remote antiquity. It was imported to Egypt as early as 2000 BCE, but those who report it had come from China confuse it with cassia. Cinnamon was so highly prized among ancient nations that it was regarded as a gift fit for monarchs and even for a god; a fine inscription records the gift of cinnamon and cassia to the temple of Apollo at Miletus.Though its source was kept mysterious in the Mediterranean world for centuries by the middlemen who handled the spice trade, to protect their monopoly as suppliers, cinnamon is native to India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Myanmar.
