All the things that we've ever used the MOF for, the Saints could also benefit from. That includes:
  • Moving the whole group plus guests and cargo around the city quickly and effortlessly.
  • Rapid long-distance travel at no cost.
  • Mobile cover and medevac services in combat.
  • Moving furniture and other large objects between their homes.
Additional uses with extra braindamage

@Firnagzen
Back when I asked why the latest update said that it took Sabrina "several minutes" of a trance to put up a transparent grief windshield when, before, she'd only needed a few moments at most (and no trance required), you said that it takes her a few moments. I think you should go back and correct it to say "a few moments" instead of "a few minutes", then (when it's convenient for you, obviously).

My take on a less angry remix of Vebyasts vote. Mostly because only checking in every half-hour is dumb.

[x] Ask the power copiers to try copying the privacy sphere before you drop it.

[X] For ease of regrouping, flyers should search the most far away areas.
-[X] Ask Niko to clarify. Search whichever place she's got in mind. Industrial area, maybe?

[X] Ask everyone to remain in continuous contact with someone in another group.
-[x] Include people capable of multitasking in all status updates.

[X] Ask if they know possible culprits we should look out for?

[X] Remind everyone to call and regroup if possible before engaging. You want to find out why this happened to better prevent a repeat.

[X] Before going:
-[X] Ask who was shadowing Niko on your first visit.
-[X] Explicitly offer the Fog and MoF to the power copiers. Local omniscience and an extremely fast flight ability will be useful for searching.
--[x] Suggest that everyone else offers powers for copying as appropriate given time pressures.
-[X] Have Umika do her mental protection.
Still doesn't include specifically pressing Sayaka to copy Kirika's powers, and to not be irrationally self-harming. There's more on the line than her pride, and she needs to remember that.

I still don't like the name. Not only because it's not really accurate (we use it as an aircraft or a flying APC, not a "mobile fortress"), but because the name itself carries very negative connotations that we don't want to spread around, even by misconception.

Like, what if we need to refer to it sometime to people we're not on good terms with? Calling it "my mobile oppression fortress" is really not likely to do us any favors, and just referring to it as "our flying platform" is both lame and defeats the entire purpose of having a name for it.

I mean, even something like GPC (Grief Personnel Carrier) would be worlds better.

We could call it our Blackbird--which would be fitting, both in terms of color and in terms of how fast it can probably go (the SR-71 Blackbird was a supersonic, all-black, long-range recon/spy plane, and the fastest non-experimental plane ever built or put into service, at speeds of Mach 3.5. It was also one of the coolest-looking aircraft ever built, and it holds all kinds of world records).

It's a reference to a TV show. Given that most of Kazumi's attack names are the names of American TV shows translated to Italian, it should be right up her alley.

(Sadly, clips from Futurama are night impossible to find on YouTube, or I'd link one so that you could properly appreciate the hammy, over-dramatic way the name is first spoken.)

This has got pretty much everything important - constant communications, making sure our logistics are solid, and encouraging more copying - in a pretty succinct package, so this is my favorite so far. It would be good to try and nudge Sayaka to pick up Kirika's powers now, but I don't think anything more than a pointed suggestion is a good idea at the moment. If the pointed suggestion gets her to go for it, then we won't have wasted too much time, and if the pointed suggestion isn't enough, she probably won't without a serious conversation about whatever her hang up is. This is not the best place or time for that discussion, and with the other precautions we have, it's not too serious of a risk to let her go without. I don't recall that specific "pointed suggestion" on a vote yet, but its the only thing that Redshirt Army's is missing.

Edit: As of the current time of writing, my and Onmur's votes are tied.

Another point supporting plan "turn everybody into an airborne fortress of awesomeness. B" that no one seems to have addressed:

We're this new magical girl who's just come around preaching a message of "let's all sit in a circle and sing campfire songs; everything's gonna be fine." Sure, we've proved we mean what we say, but we need to show we MEAN what we preach 100%. Giving others we just met access to something akin to the MOF or the miscommunication spheretm not only gives our allies potential resources to use in the field later, but it shows them we stand by our word completely. Not sharing our knowledge could make it seem like we're purposefully holding the info back because we don't trust the people we're dealing with, at which point they're going to assume we have a reason to do so, and, in turn, not trust us completely. It's easier to get everyone on our side, knowing that most of the knowledge we impart can't really hurt to spread, then try to convince someone to trust us when they think they have reason not to.

Also,
[X] Onmur (Edit: Redshirt Army => Onmur because I feel prodding Sayaka might not be the best idea)

While I'm thinking about it, the other big payoff of having Kazumi copy the Utility Fog.
And with the dispersal comes awareness in almost impossible fidelity. You'd always been able to sense Grief with absolute precision, and this is no different. But you can feel everything around you with a billion questing fingers, the walls, the roofs, the weeds, the movement of the wind, the cars disturbing your fog of Grief particles, the...

You blush, and pull the Grief away from the human beings you sense within your sphere of awareness - the few workers still in the area.

Well then.
That. Kazumi. Kazumi's entire harem. In the same place. Hehehhehheeheheheh.

I'm sad that the "Byakugan" phrasing went away, on a side note. Maybe we'll find a way to mention it after the copy has happened and we don't risk downgrading what Kazumi gets?

Can anyone explain what's the pressing need to 'poke' Sayaka to ask such a favour from the people who burned her house with her family inside a week ago?

Nevermind she found out days ago who it was, or that she's already dealing with having them along as allies already.

Sayaka can get mental protection just like we will, from Umika. She already considered copying Kirika, before realizing what the hell she was thinking and taking the other option. (That's a nice big hint for us.)

Sayaka's been doing great. Awesome even. She deserves praise for her handling of the Oriko situation.

I urge people to not project their own minmaximazing, and respect Sayaka's already considerable emotional efforts, instead of 'poking' her wound further than we already are.

I guess I don't think that she's that put out about it. Like, yeah, don't force her to do it, but at least make sure she didn't just forget about it? It's certainly not "blood feud forever" territory.

At the same time, I think "pok[ing] at the Kirika/Sayaka issue" implies a certain aggressive approach to bringing it up, which doesn't seem like the best idea overall.

Sayaka's been repressing her anger. Of course we wouldn't see it.

When we first talked about Oriko with Sayaka and Hitomi? The one who tried to slap us was Hitomi. Sayaka's burst of anger, breaking Table-chan, was completely unintentional (hello, guilt!).

When confronted with Oriko, Sayaka once more reigned herself in and went flying around to deal with her emotions.

Now, she's shown she's angry while at the same time putting virtually no objections to working with Oriko and Kirika.

I'm no psychologist, but that either hints at something good, or at something very, very bad; I honestly doubt Sayaka herself understands what she should allow herself to feel about Oriko. The whole situation has been overwhelming to her from the get go.

I honestly don't know what to do about Sayaka. I'm not good with people.

So right now, I'm going without I consider the "safe" option- not pushing her.

I think we should poke at it. Not very hard mind you but at least maybe a side comment that whatever disagreements Sayaka may have with Kirika her powers are value neutral.

We'd be asking the favor, not her.

My issue here is the usage of "poke," as I wouldn't want to give an implication of aggression. But Sayaka is here with Oriko and Kirika, and while she might not be happy, she's being mature about it and setting it aside in the face of something more important. She just learned all this a few days ago, we need to give her time to settle. Having automatic would be super useful, but I don't think Sayaka would appreciate it right now. Give her room to organize her thoughts, so she isn't just reacting at us/Oriko and Kirika.
