Stallionpen has the Dragon Graveyard and Temple, I'm pretty sure.

This has even worse implications than making Sacred Forest a free city, if you object to giving priests any power.

It does?
Ohh. Thanks, I mistook it for Stonepen, which is in the northern reaches of our hills and lacks the temple.
DIPLOMACY GOGOGO

[X] [React] Main Build Glassworks

But, given that Geniuses seem to be high-functional savants so far, I am not entirely sure what forms will Diplo Genius take.

...why is everyone jumping on a Genius and not erasing our DB?
Well, why I am not opposed to the idea of dealing with the DB, it is something that is too specific in the sense as it only messes with a single trait (an admittedly powerful one, sure) and nothing else. If this was like Weapon of The Gods, wherein we lose 1 Stab every time we do something, I would have gone for dealing the DB.

Aside from that, we would have many more opportunities to deal with it as drawing PiA is something that can take a long time. Remember that before we drew from HK, the last time CA activates is when the Haths are still around.

Geniuses > Steel
our last one won the war
our king (was he a genius or a hero?) gave us geometry and algebra
our next one could give us the world
or at least annex the HK or just manage things p well

King was a Hero, it was in one of the updates.

But I don't think any of the Geniuses would be applicable to developing Steel? We've got options of Admin, Culture, and Diplo, but wouldn't we need Mystic to develop materials tech?

Guys why are you choosing parts of our core to make into free cities i.e red shore center of commerce and red hills (soon to be) center of industry why not stallion pen?

The fact that they're part of the core is why we want them; making stallion pen a free city just means it can and will diverge more, because its farther away from centralized control. Redshores and Redhills (and lower valleyhome eventually) are close enough to the capital that they should be under much closer oversight if they try to go beyond their new allowances.

Because close to our core is actually where we can afford to allow them the most independence, since it's near to our center of power and we have lots of infrastructure there to avoid cultural drift.

@Academia Nut can we specify a double genius by paying 21 Culture? Like an Admin/Diplomacy? We are going to be putting a lot of points back into culture from our Mysticism overflow after all.

[X] [GA] Mitigate Nemesis Fashion (-5 Culture)
[X] [GA] Erase Nemesis Fashion (-10 Culture)

I'd rather be rid of that trait so there's that.

This is how you create a sense of belonging or oneness in an empire, by being a cultural juggernaut.

[X] [FC] Redshore
[X] [FC] Sacred Forest
[X] [FC] Redhills
[X] [FC] Stallionpen

Any two cities are fine. This need for absolute control is frankly mind boggling, the cities can manage themselves, they are uniquely suited to it infact. Hell even our genius admin hero find the idea of micro managing them ridiculous.
In addition to extreme administrative streamlining and increase in effeciancy, we also get extra policies and more innovation rolls, there is bloody no reason outside of ideological bias for not taking free cities.

[X] [Diplo] Victory lap (Main Salt Gift)

Should give us very interesting results.

[X] [Diplo] Tie everything together internally (Main Build Roads)

Our roads are horrid by the standards of goats.

[X] [Diplo] Stay home, plant trees (Main Expand Forest)
Make the yoeman happy. And hopefully bees.

[X] [React] Continue work on the Place to the Stars (5/7-8 actions completed)

Finish it now.

[X] [React] Main Build Glassworks

Satisfy the artisans.

[X] [React] Main Expand Forests

Already explained

[X] [React] Main Build Watchtowers

Just in case

[X] [React] Main Build Theatre

For empire unity and to give the unwashed masses a taste of culture.

[X] [React] 2xSec Dragon Graveyard Temple

For the increased mysticism

[X] [React] 2xSec Blackmouth Governor's Palace

For adminstrive effeciancy, it's basically a dedicated center of administration, it should benefit us bureaucratically much like the Royal Palace but on a localised scale, and it pleases the patricians.

Can someone run the math on what various votes would cost?

We need at least one stat to remain maxed if we want to keep riding the Golden Age.

[X] [GA] Gain random genius (-15 Culture)
A genius right now sounds wonderful. And I don't even care what kind.
A Diplomacy genius will work out ways to keep our neighbors happy and also improve relationships with the subordinates we just ate.
An Admin genius will help coordinate all the projects we are going to be doing in the next couple of turns.
A Culture genius will help spread our culture to our subordinates.

Any of those would make me happy.

[X] [FC] Sacred Forest

I really like the idea of making both of our true cities into free cities right now. It shouldn't really interesting, and we could use a pair of true cities to generate culture and passive actions.

[X] [Diplo] Tie everything together internally (Main Build Roads)
I've been waiting so long for this action. These are tears of joy . Please don't take this from me?

[X] [React] Continue work on the Place to the Stars (5/7-8 actions completed)
-[X] [React] Kick project (ISoO already triggered this turn)
The way I see it, this will hopefully finish the project now, and then set us up to Main Theatre next, getting our stability back up to max.

EDIT:
[X] [FC] Redshore
[X] [FC] Redhills
Because all else being equal, I'm for more Free Cities wherever they are, and this seems to be the only way to get that opinion counted.

We really should cease our paranoia about free cities, so I am ok with any two of them.

Lets see if we can check the theory that the Highlanders are just really butthurt about us stealing their cataracts.

So far, this looks to be what I'm thinking. Admin geniuses are spectacular in more than one way as they branch into multiple facets of society. Hello motherfucking algebra and geometry. Furthermore, we have a whole slew of issues to deal with at the moment that are completely administrative in nature. Having an Admin genius to help us along the way will be spectacular. Alternatively.... motherfucking steel.

We desperately need roads. Our centralization is low and with all of our recent additions we will need to tie them all together and have the centralization to spare to start integrating parts of them. The governor's palace is needed to satisfy both the Patricians because nobody wants -1 stability from a fucking quest, and it will help keep the Western Wall tied to us even as they become more administratively independent. Keep in mind, the Governor's Palace gives us some advantage towards making true cities easier to manage, which we will need if we want to continue to keep them from turning into Free Cities. However, if we do end up with free cities, I would much rather it be Redshore as it is unlikely to shift loyalty with its proximity to Valleyhome and extreme tie in to the rest o the kingdom.
