[X] [Conq] Take the northern lowlands (Thunder Speakers become vassal, Txolla annex additional territory, gain Ruined Thunder Horse as vassal, remainder fragment, -4 Econ and 4 temporary Econ damage from supporting wrecked vassal)
[X] [Refugee] Use the military to evacutate as many as possible (8 temporary Econ damage, -9-11 Econ Expansion, -2 Stability, chance of further loss, +9-11 Econ next turn, incompatible with most ambitious conquest option)
[X] [PttS] Horse Valley
[X] [Diplo] Send out reassurances (Sec Trade Mission to Khemetri, Trelli, and Harmurri)
[X] [PSN] Lots more black soil (Main Black Soil, -2 Centralization)

It does sort of remind me of Obi-Wan and Alderaan, but maybe she was just reacting to air pressure differentials or something, feels a bit of a stretch but who knows.
The sky was brightening in the wrong direction, she was primed to be on the look out for spiritual things, her mind interprets fear as illusionary crows. Not saying I'm sure magic doesn't exist anymore, but it is an explanation.

Yes, there is some vague talk about it in our origin stories (Not even specifically calling it out as a meteor I think) but nothing that would place it into any sort of context that could be useful. So maybe it was just a blind guess that paid off, that's somewhat possible, but the idea she logically used that prior info to make the deduction doesn't hold up.
Perhaps the Khmetri had records of it?

This does make sense in hind sight, which would explain why her brother had a crow on him, if she knew he was leaving for the front lines

If the star had been observed growing brighter I could see that as a possible explanation (For some of it), I got the impression it hadn't but perhaps that just wasn't mentioned in the text.
Maybe just she noticed it, since Genius Mystic and all. Or maybe no-one thought it was important, since it wasn't here for the first time and she clearly didn't manage to articulate clearly enough that the doom is gonna be a meteor impact. Or, well, maybe some magic helped her do some of that. It's possible, and more plausible now than before, but it's still not certain. Let's continue looking into it.

Argh, veekie has good points too!

[X] [Conq] Take the northern lowlands (Thunder Speakers become vassal, Txolla annex additional territory, gain Ruined Thunder Horse as vassal, remainder fragment, -4 Econ and 4 temporary Econ damage from supporting wrecked vassal)
[X] [Refugee] Send out runners that you have food and intact farmland (6 temporary Econ damage, -6-8 Econ Expansion, -1 Stability, chance of further loss, +6-8 Econ next turn)
[X] [PttS] Black Mirror
[X] [PttS] 0 Stability
[X] [Diplo] Let's maybe spread out in case the gods throw another bolt (Found Far Northern Trade Post)
[X] [PSN] Bit more black soil (Sec Black Soil, -1 Centralization)

fine, but I'm not changing it again :p

Come on, man, pick the maximum option! We would be helping so many people. The story opportunity here is astronomical. This moment will be ingrained in our history forever and when our people look back they should see at how willing we were willing to help others. It's strong movement towards further evolution of Pride in Acceptance. A delayed golden age is worth it.

What are the stat requirements for a Golden Age again? I think we're close to one, and narratively it'd be pretty awesome to get one now. We should do that, and then build trails and influence subordinate.

So did the comet land right on top of their city? Or did it just graze it?

1 of TH's major city with the bulk of their army. Swamp folks is likely screaming internally, you know, resident bi-polar civilization just happened to pass a scene of divine act.

Please consider against land grab! Our government administration area is very limited if there are no river or ocean access. Grabbing any land across the giant vassal colony will not be wise. We can instead suck up all the available population in TH area into our own, netting a lot foreign tech, ideas, crop seeds and other expertise.

It is also a good time to establish a trade post in the north, since the nomad king just turned away from warring us and our surrounding polity is breathing very quietly now; so not much risk in sending good amount of resources north.

[] [Conq] The land is cursed, pull back (Thunder Speakers break away, rest of the Thunder Horse fragment into desperate city states)
[] [Refugee] Use the military to evacutate as many as possible (8 temporary Econ damage, -9-11 Econ Expansion, -2 Stability, chance of further loss, +9-11 Econ next turn, incompatible with most ambitious conquest option)

Umm, if we do the middle option thanks to our new trait we have a good chance of taking NO stab hits, and it still helps a lot of people. I consider that good enough.

Stat requirements are 2 normal stats maxed and 3 stability for a full turn. We have the stats; still waiting on the stability. Or rather, we've got the stability too, but we are probably taking refugees so it won't survive to last a full turn.

100% on board with trying to max stability again next turn, though admittedly the Hero has control so my opinion hardly matters there.

Conquer dat land. Finish up all of our necessary expansion. Only the HK and the Trell are left and then we can rest on our laurels as we develop our new territory.
Send out runners to make $ to fight off econ loss. Not actually necessary butttt maybe nice???

Horse Valley >>>> Black Mirror. It offers a better stargazing site, it offers better traffic through the north and cultural integration w/ the Heaven Hawks. DO NOT LISTEN TO @veekie The Mirror is shit for actual stargazing. It's literally looking at water when you can just look at the sky instead. More traffic through Black Mirror - a province that literally all of our river traffic goes through - is pointless.

Send out reassurances because getting more diplomacy is nice.
Keep it under control cus we don't want to lose cent.
