Do we even have the periphery slots for both a merc company and another trading post? We just dropped one down by the Trelli.

It's called 'The STs are happy with us, enter a Golden Age and THEN deal with their nonsense.'

We will get full, but full integration should reduce our slot filled, so it will be the same.

....I'm not sure even a GA can help us deal with adding 8-12 martial over our cap, which is the main issue :/

Also guys if we are going on a boat-building bonaza can I recomend we do an Expand forest as a secondary as well? Expand Forest and Study Forest got merged so if we are looking for more Wood Tech that be a good idea as well as ensure there is enough wood for the boats

Then wait until we have that prestige to build them.

You mean next turn?

We can support one more periphery state at this point, and additionally we're likely to get at least 2 prestige from the Palace, giving room for a second. Plus, we're integrating the Stallions soon to free up another periphery slot. Then a third trading post will give us a legacy bonus to trade posts, giving us an additional slot.

We found a company this turn, preparing to integrate the Stallions next turn and in a few turns found a northern trading post.

It keeps them happy with us while we work out a way to integrate them safely. Also, it makes everything better, churning our econ and increasing innovation rolls etcetera etcetera.

We could just switch over to Study Policy and bang out a ton of innovations all over the place.

...the only way to integrate them safely is to have enough room for their martial without going massively over cap. There's no way around that dude.

The ST are clearly the ones we most want to integrate, but wouldn't the martial be much easier to soak if we took a bite out of the minors and the western wall first? It would up our max stat capacity a decent amount and provide more wiggle room.

you know looking at the stats and at Trade Mission this should get us to golden age too.

Okay, let's try this again.

You want to throw down a bunch of mercenary companies right now, before we have a war to fight or a trade post to attach them to.
I want to hit a Golden Age, and then deal with all that nonsense.

I could be convinced to go main palace instead of boats. Fairly easily even. But I'm keen on getting trails done asap.

does the special apply to our subordinate states/vassals as well(not that it's really relevant to the LM :p )or only to our core states? Just asking since while our core states will do MP actions, @Glassware has a point that our other states aren't restricted in what they do and would likely take advantage of the special if they cn.

It applies to all of your subordinates as well.

what effect would double maining the palace have in regards to annexes? Full completion or partial? Or other less obvious effects?

If you devote more actions than necessary you will also complete the Garden and Great Hall Expansion.

1) The Red Banner is currently attached to the new trading post. Which means we can't use them anywhere.
2) Another mercenary company increase our expeditionary capability, and vent martial in preparation for integrating the Stallion Tribes.

We get a plus one if its a main or secondary on trails but this lets us get the extra annexes

I really don't like it when the main and sole justification for something big is "because stats". Why would the Ymarin create a mercenary company soon after they decided as a culture, that every life is important, and the main possible enemy decided to go the peaceful way? Unless we plan on making a northern Trade Post next turn, I see little IC justification for mercs.

Vote is semi-placeholder:

[x][Secondary] Influence Subordinate - Lowland Minors
[x][Secondary] Support Subordinate - Western Trade Post
