@Nianque & @ScreenWatcher I know it's annoying to have to type out library, library x2, library x3 etc., but please do so so your votes play nice with the tallies
So the current winning vote is:
[] Shrine
[] Library
[] Library x2
[] Great Hall Expansion
[] Storehouse
I'm OK with that. Even if I'd rather swap the expansion out for a shrine or storehouse.
Lol come on I said a combo of those not all of them. Truthfully if we had the time I would've pushed for all of them. However vote for Redshore and expanded great hall its the best choice by far and makes it easiers for everyone to buy in on every level. You know, an 8x Garden choice in Redshore might give us an Aqueduct+Palace hybrid...
The only thing that made me switch to Valleyhome was the possibility of opening riverine traffic to the lowlands. That would bring Valleyhome on par with Redshore in trading position for the forseeable future.Ehhh.
yeah, I am fine with this.
Not sure on location, but very tentatively:
[X] [Loc] Redshore
[X][Annex] Shrine
[X][Annex] Library
[X][Annex] Library x2
[X][Annex] Storehouse
[X][Annex] Great Hall Expansion
Redshore is better tied to the North and Hatriver; Valleyhome is better tied to the east and south-east, but there is not too much going on there. Barring Lowland Vassals, which are admittedly a big deal.
Still, Redhore has the slightest margin of preference for me.
Odds are, we'll either be forced to divert our attention at some point or switch to megaprocess support, either of which messes up your planning here. Furthermore, we don't actually know how much time the palace takes - by default, it is listed as taking 5-7? turns. So We even if we wanted an even number of turns, we wouldn't know whether that would be satisfied by an even or odd number of annexes.GUUUUYS
Why do you vote for odd numbers of annexes? We have double Mains at use, using even steps - 2,4,6 - is logical.
Like, due to double Mains there is literally no difference in time spent on building 1 and 2 annexes, or 3 and 4. None.
Again, i'd like to point out that we're losing 0-2 wealth a turn, between the tax crisis (- 1-3) and our passive gain/loss (+2, -1, net +1), and our provinces just demonstrated that they're willing and able to spend wealth on things. Even if they don't, we're losing an average of 1 wealth a turn, and we have 6. Meanwhile, if we continue doing double palace + expand econ, we're losing 2 econ a turn or we're losing 0.5 stability a turn, depending on if we have refugees. Again, we have 6 econ. We're in two wars, with powerful nations (the Swamp Folk have gotten even stronger with teh climate changes) and i think AN has said the TS might start something if they think we're weak enough. The climate issues keeping the HK down end in a couple turns. We really can't sit here building a palace for 6 turns like a lot of people seem to want; i'm not sure we can really manage 3 turns like my plan calls for, honestly.
And most importantly, we can build all these extra annexes after we put out some fires, and all it costs is an extra econ and art. Once we're in a safer position thats almost literally nothing to us.
Also, updating vote to use task tags and a location:
[X] [Loc] Redshore
[X][Annex] Shrine
[X][Annex] Library
[X][Annex] Storehouse
Well, if you're REALLY worried about crisis, may I recommend:Redshore will result in additional action drain and will make life hard for us if it turns into a True City. We also have WoG OOC that Valleyhome short to long term is better, Redshore only pays off extremely long term. Ffs, stop adding actions to what is already going to be an expensive project when we have multiple crises and wars on our plate.
If we add enough fortifications, storehouses, and arsenals, we can have our very own castle way ahead of when we should have it.
I like it, but I think you need at least one arsenal and maybe 2 fortifications. Just to make it a hard point nobody can touch.Well, if you're REALLY worried about crisis, may I recommend:
[] Plan The King's Warehouse District:
[] Storehouse
[] Storehouse x2
[] Storehouse x3
[] Storehouse x4
[] Storehouse x5
[] Storehouse x6
[] Storehouse x7
[] Storehouse x8
No matter how bad the crisis, we can ALWAYS survive!
