Not a good turn...
We don't have a use for a low Admin king, the high Martial is nice for the Nomads but they are a lesser issue.

We don't need the Martial overly, and the major issues aren't worth it
[x] [Recruit] Smaller recruitment (+3 Martial, potential additional effects)

We need to hit the baby killers before the Highlanders get hit by a two front War, they are stalemating at the moment and need all the help they can get
[x] [Strategy] Drive them south-east

We would benefit most from this, iron helps us in econ and military whilst also putting us further ahead then our rivals when other civs eventually gain iron
[x] [Library] Free Study Metal (Guaranteed breakthrough

We are getting into overseas trade more, so it makes more sense to start shipping even more in larger amounts

Love of Wisdom (Maxed development)
The People have learned not just to be aware of the world around them and to follow the patterns they see, but to also carefully test the patterns to see if they are actual patterns or just coincidence.
Pros: Significantly improved use of study actions and innovation rolls
Cons: Can question social foundations
Has Love of Wisdom lost the -1 mysticism a turn with the Library wonder?

Also given the Library came about due to the heroic administrative mother and son that developed primitive indexing which the Library was inspired from, would that level up?

[X] [Library] Evolve a random value other than Love of Wisdom

We're at 3 Centralisation, and dropping down by 2 would leave us at 1, which is dangerously low. Even being at 3 for as long as we had caused us long term issues.,

We can always do the Study or Survey actions. What we can't always do is evolve our values. The opportunities to do so are rare so we should take the option now that it's available to us.

I don't want to sacrifice Centralization.

I'm not attached to this option, and will probably change to West. It's p shiny, though.

Best choice: evolving values are harder/less reliable than reaching breakthroughs, and honestly idk what's after iron other than steel, alloys, damascus, or something.

Knarr-ly dude.

Portable boats that can attack our enemies in unexpected direction.

What are you talking about? We took the maximum refugee option and thus took large amounts of Hathatyn land, producing the Hatriver march. Furthermore, the amount of territory the HK took was limited, enough to get them a steady supply of bronze but no more than that.

AN said that a long period of low Centralisation and hereditary power (curse you hereditary!) has weakened the system to the point where this strategy is no longer possible.
What I'm talking about is because of our values we didn't expand as aggressively in Haythn territory as the HK did.

Why possibly benefit from a random trait (trait evolutions have screwed us before) when's we can definitely benefit from iron advances?

Well iron alloys would be crazy but I'm not sure we'd get that. On the other hand, library proving the advance gives us a guarantee of stuff that's otherwise incredibly low chance to get. 'We could maybe luck into it after a dozen turns of devoted study' is different than 'right now right here'.

On the other hand, there's a good chance the evolved trait will be honor-based and our Martial needs a kick in the pants. Honorable death advancing would also probably help.

We must concentrate everything on this war.

This is our chance to turn lowlands into a clusterfuck of epic proportion.

And Half measures are fucking useless when dealing we heroes.

Your heroic martial king thinks:

Double Main Expand Warriors.

I am tempted to create a list of your WoGs, because, for example, this one is massively important and yet, without it being collected somewhere for reference, it won't influence our decision-making as much as it should.

EDIT: Aaand created the google doc, which will be gradually updated with this stuff. Link in my signature.

Well, in that case...

Mass recruitment to give the King the warriors he needs to pull off this gamble. Large, portable boats for the same. Study metal because I'm hoping for a breakthrough to steel or something similar.

This will drop our centralization down to 1. This means we can spam Enforce Justice without much care for going over along with New Trails, at the cost of being in a very dangerous place if this doesn't get the nomads off our back.

We have a way to reduce centralization so we can enforce justice next turn. Also likely to evolve Quality of its Own.

First option is a trap, it attempts a holding action against two martial heroes and allowing them time to gain more weapons.

Last is just as much a trap as it pushes them into the Lowlands where they can also grab bronze.

Second removes a source of bronze from them while also putting the Metal Workers in our debt.

Values are difficult to evolve and having the Library push one of them can only end well.

While having larger river boats is nice, I do not see it as strictly necessary as we have had no problems with our current boats.

A new Design of Large Boats however will be amazing as both our Trading Post and Hat River March have both created Main Ports so the earlier arguments against them are null.

Also very valuable if we want to defend the West as we would have a much faster way of sending warriors over to land at our Trading Post with its new port.

Yes, let's repeat our action of setting Nomads on the Lowlands
