Geographic administration will have highly visible forms of corruption and will be limited to our capital. That sounds like an issue that Restoration of Order will be very effective at fixing.

Enforce justice as a secondary guarantees 1 stability, with a small chance of gaining anything above 1 centralization (remember that 85% of our cities are walled, so EJ is much less effective).

We're still at 3/4 of our forests locked in for our mines so this will greatly help that problem before it becomes a limiting issue. It'll also help with nomad raids, so that's a plus.

A main EJ is unnecessary, as the extra stability isn't guaranteed and it gives a greater chance of capping our centralization and/or going over the limit. Either ones will prevent us from building our new gravel trails (which will limit logistics as well as increase cultural drifting from the martial colonies).

Yes, instead it's the choice which explicitly furthers nepotism.
The thing is the whole unfairness will be obvious, but you can't change it, because the power to enact change is firmly in the hands of the nepotistic and corrupt under geographical.

Under occupational, it's the same as with the Big Man, with the Oligraches, and now the Occupational Chiefs. The system starts fair, and then is corrupted over time as the new advantages compound.
I don't agree, the power to demand change is firmly in the hands of the people, and the power to have these demands enacted is also in the hands of these people because they can refuse to obey the people in power until the desired changes are enacted.

You're basically rolling over and installing a less efficient, equally corrupted system because you don't want to even try. I'm thoroughly appalled.

Very nice! Mind, given the 85% coverage of walls, i dont expect super good results :/
More wall coverage might not be that bad if it ends up changing the weighting so that the +Centralization is more likely to be lower. That way, we can get more uses out of it before Centralization becomes too high.

I'm pretty sure AN said we can't get GG from the XS anymore.
AN's comment about already gone refers to losing our Greater Good because it was merged with Protective Justice. The Xohyssiri might still have Greater Good, or it could have been evolved.

I'd still say that we want Greater Good if only for a reliable stability raising option that's not limited by a stat or require a main action.

That wasn't as bad as I feared it would be. The title had me going for a moment, though. Roll back the clan changes and limit to Valleyhome, might change to geographic depending on the arguements. Fix our stability and use our shiny new action. Finally, try and get Greater Good back.

Mm, fair enough. I suppose I hadn't really gotten over the "econ 2" error.

Yeah no. I interpret that to mean we have lost greater good. If you look in the status page, GG is gone. Absorbed. We need to pick the Xohyssiri to get it again.

I'm actually curious what kind of trait we can get from them other than GG...they just went through a huge social change after all.

Something revolving around trading...maybe golden age generation/maintenance?

At this point? Get Temple and Palace, both will do a lot to make the people living in the City feel well, and also give a large boost to administrating a urban population.

(J) Main Palace at Rainbow Trails
(Muti prjoect building!)

Hon hon hon, we got the stats to spare, and provinces will deal with the problems i don't what to deal with.:lol

That was what I originally argued that it meant, but enough people were convinced that I was. *shrug*

GG would be nice to get, though tbh I'd be more glad if we got another trait. It's so boring to just keep getting the same thing...

wait... @Academia Nut Is this possible? Can we dual megaproject?

The power to demand change isn't a reality however, vote amplification and marginalization through districting is that strong.

Speaking as someone living in a country where there have been protests for 10+ years on the matter and nothing changed other than the system getting better at tracing protestors home

Probably still do, I don't see them losingbit unless they stopped sacrificing

We've already pulled Greater Good off the Xoh like what, three or four times in a row now? Greater Good's merged itself into several of our traits by now, so the idea is fairly ingrained into our society at this point. The general sentiment I've seen from the thread is that people want to hold onto it because of Grand Sacrifice rather than any fluff benefits, and it's important to note that the vote doesn't specifically say what trait we'll be picking up from the Xoh if we choose them this time around, so there's no guarantee that it'll be Greater Good.

So that being said, I for one am interested in trying something new. Thunder Speakers have probably lost a good chunk of honor traits thanks to being subjugated by the TH, so I'm pretty sure we'll pick up a nice Spiritual or Social trait from them. If some other non-Xoh option for CA starts picking up steam I'm willing to switch to something else though.

Now let's take our new trait for a spin. I'm sure if we strain Centralization the right way we'll be able to come up with a new way to drop it enough to build new trails without trouble.
