Fridge Thought after re-reading Onmur's Sabrina's guide: The reason why Sabrina can only control grief up to 100 meters, is actually "can only control up to 100m of Soul Gem. Because a Soul Gem's default range limit is 100m. Her grief control is literally a part of her Soul Gem's area of effect.

No, I don't know if this actually helps anything, but (according to this theory) you can theoretically get a 199m range in one direction if you give a trusted friend your Gem and run the other way.

Aye, that's been a theory for a while. Which implies that the Grief is being treated by her Soul as just as much a part of Sabrina's body as the original human one.

Also still haven't tested whether the 100m range is centered on Sabrina's body, her Soul Gem, or uses both.

Not sure what good would it do for us to know that, but it's such a simple thing...

I'm kind of baffled how you got from the thoroughly unhelpful Sabrina's Guide to meguca-ing (written by Sabrina "I'm a terrible Senpai" Just Sabrina) to how Sabrina's actual ability might extend so-and-so.

But in the face of this confusion, I shall graciously accept credit for initiating this thought process, recurring as it might be.

After all, it is surprisingly rare to find a new topic or idea being brought into this topic.

It was the part where it mentions that the max limit between Soul Gem and body was 100m, and that reminded me that Sabrina's Grief limit is also roughly 100m. Which could mean that the grief has the same relationship to the Gem as Sabrina's body.

Maybe this is why Witches hide in barriers. They are stuck within the 100m limit if they don't.

I think I was going to mention the barrier thing several days ago, but Wally kinda breaks all those rules, so...
Unless its thing is making a subtle barrier that picks up ludicrous chunks of land (since its thing is "all the world's a stage, and you shall be in it") and since after that everyone is in its barrier, it can have as much range as it needs. I dunno. Witches, how do they work?
(Starts pondering the feasibility of that Omake where Sabrina turns a bunch of people into "Infinite Magic Sane Witches" and grumbles at my old, shitty execution of the same idea)
 
...I just figured out why Ono Megane is so angry and upset all the time!

Think about it. There are 11 magical girls in the Mitakihara-Kasamino area: Hiroko, Masami, Ono, Mami, Sabrina, Homura, Sayaka, Oriko, Kirika, Kyouko, and Yuma.

Not counting Yuma since she's still a kid, Ono is the only one without a soulmate! HirokoxMasami, MamixSabrina, HomuraxMadoka, SayakaxKyouko, and OrikoxKirika! I mean technically one of those couples hasn't even met yet, but I'm sure that deep in her heart Ono knows. Given the circumstances, it really is a wonder she hasn't witched out already.

...maybe we should pair her up with a girl from Asunaro? We'll also have to figure out how to break it to Sayaka that becoming a magical girl apparently turns you into a lesbian.
 
I expect a little plot twist such as sayaka likes mami or sabrina for cheap love triangle drama. :V

And no, Ono ship will always sank before it sails.
